- the second resource unit may be defined in advance or may be notified through signaling (e.g. SIG) among various methods.
- the size of the RRU / BTU is 56 subcarrier tones.
- FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating an example of a form in which a minimum resource allocation unit is defined regardless of bandwidth.
- the conventional interleaver can be recycled.
- Table 1 below shows BRU-specific RUs and IRUs, DCs, and GIs.
- numerology for each BW may be configured as shown in Table 2 below.
- the 160 MHz BW is applied twice at 80 MHz.
- Table 3 shows 80 MHz
- Table 4 shows 40 MHz
- Table 5 shows 20 MHz.
- FIG. 13 is a diagram for describing a method of configuring resource allocation information common to a plurality of STAs when configuring resource allocation information according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 13 shows an example of allocating OFDMA resources to STA1, 2, and 4 belonging to Group ID 1.
- FIG. 13 Since only resources are allocated to STA1, 2, and 4, NSTs (Number of space-time streams) for STA1, 2, and 4 are set to a value greater than 0, and Nsts for STA3 is 0. Can be set.
- one embodiment of the present invention proposes to represent such resource configuration information using a resource allocation bitmap that is commonly applied to a plurality of STAs.
- the resource allocation bitmap may indicate a subband configuration that becomes a unit of resource allocation in the entire frequency band through whether a subsequent bit in the resource allocation bitmap is toggled compared to a preceding bit.
- the subband (eg, SB 1) corresponding to the first preceding bit and the first subsequent bit are not.
- the corresponding subband (eg, SB2) may be a subband assigned to the same STA.
- the subband corresponding to the second preceding bit eg, SB2
- the band (for example, SB3) may represent a subband allocated to different STAs.
- the resource allocation bitmap may be represented as “1001”. That is, compared to the first 1, the second 0 may represent a resource unit allocated to different STAs because the bit is toggled, and the third 0 is a subband allocated to the same STA because it is not toggled compared to the second bit 0. It can be seen that, since the last 1 is toggled compared to the preceding 0, it may indicate that the subband is allocated to another STA.
- resource allocation may be performed using a user bitmap.
- the size of the user bitmap can be determined by the maximum number of users in the group. In the above example, since it supports four users, it can be configured as 4 bits.
- the value of the user bitmap is set to 1111 because all resources are allocated to four STAs in FIG. 11, and is set to 1101 since resources are allocated only to STA1, 2, and 4 in FIG. 13. In this case, only Nsts information for the assigned user (STA) will be included in the SIG. In the example of FIG. 13, only Nsts information for STA1, 2, and 4 may be included.
- Resource allocation location and size information on which STA allocates which resource may be included in the HE-SIG and transmitted.
- the resource allocation information according to the embodiment of the present invention may have a format as in the following example.
- Table 6 Contents in HE-SIG1 & HE-SIG2 Type Name size (bits) Notes Common information BW 2 GI One BSS index 6 Number of GID 2 Per Group information GID 6 User Bitmap 4 Allocation size 3 MU / OFDMA indication One Allocation Bitmap One Included in the case of OFDMA. Per STA information (included by the total number of STAs) Nsts 3 MCS 4 Coding One STBC One Beamformed One
- Per Group information can be repeatedly entered by the Number of GID values, and Per STA information can be repeatedly entered by the number of STAs allocated.
- Per Group Information when Allocation Bitmap allocates resources through group ID as described above, STAs are allocated resources only in a specified order (in the above example, STA1, 2, 3, 4). This may cause a problem of not allocating an appropriate resource to the terminal. For example, in FIGS. 11 and 13, STA1 is assigned first, and STA4 is always assigned last. If resources are allocated to one or more STAs in a group, STA4 may not be allocated from the first.
- the resource allocation information further includes resource allocation order information that specifies the order of STAs receiving resource allocation in the group. If various forms are possible as the resource allocation order information, two specific forms will be described below.
- the AP may include and transmit a permutation index. Resource allocation order of STAs belonging to the GID is determined based on the permutation index. It is preferable to use one permutation index per one GID. How to configure the permutation index can be configured as follows.
- the total number of permutation index is (N!) And the size of the index is determined as ceiling (log2 (N!)) Bits.
- the total number of STAs that can belong to the GID is 4, the total number of permutation index is 24 and the size is 5 bits. You can limit N to the number of users assigned by GID.
- N 2 and the size of the index is determined to be 1 bit.
- the resource allocation information included in the HE-SIG field may have the following format.
- Table 8 Contents in HE-SIG Type Name size (bits) Notes Common information BW 2 GI One BSS index 6 Number of GID 2 Per Group information GID 6 User Bitmap 4 Allocation size 3 MU / OFDMA indication One Allocation Bitmap One Included in the case of OFDMA. Permutation index 5 Included in the case of OFDMA. Per STA information (includes the total number of STAs) Nsts 3 MCS 4 Coding One STBC One Beamformed One
- 14 and 15 are examples for explaining a resource allocation method when a permutation index is used according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- each STA can determine whether the resource allocation to itself through the user bitmap, it may indicate "1111" in FIG.
- the order of the STA corresponding to each bit of the user bitmap may be STA 1, 2, 3, or 4, which is the original order of the STA, or may be an order defined according to the above-described permutation index, that is, STA 1, 4, 2, or 3. have.
- STA1, 2, 3, and 4 may be referred to by the group ID, and the permutation index may correspond to 8.
- the order of the STAs is determined as STA 2, 1, 4, or 3 according to the permutation index, but it may represent that there is no resource allocated to STA 1 using a user bitmap.
- a permutation index may be defined and operated only for STAs receiving resource allocation.
- the number of combinations according to the permutation index may be limited as follows.
- the size of the permutation index will be 4 bits. Limiting the combinations that make up a permutation index can be useful for reducing the size of the index when the value of N increases.
- the resource allocation order information may be configured using a shifting index that defines the degree of shifting the order of the STAs.
- a shifting index that defines the degree of shifting the order of the STAs.
- Table 10 Contents in HE-SIG Type Name size Notes Common information BW 2 GI One BSS index 6 Number of GID 2 Per Group information GID 6 User Bitmap 4 Allocation size 3 MU / OFDMA indication One Allocation Bitmap One Included in the case of OFDMA. Cyclic Shifting index 3 Bit 0: Indicates whether it is left (or upper) shifting or right (or down) shifting. 0: left (or upper) shifting- 1: right (down) shiftingBit1Bit2: indicates the unit to be shifted. Example: 00: 101: 210: 311: The fourth place shows an example and may vary depending on the size. Per STA information (includes the total number of STAs) Nsts 3 MCS 4 Coding One STBC One Beamformed One
- 16 and 17 are diagrams for explaining a case of using a shifting index according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the resource allocation is the example of FIG. 16 (STA1, 2, 3, 4, all allocations are allocated by 5 MHz). May be equal to).
- STA1, 2, 3, 4, all allocations are allocated by 5 MHz). May be equal to since the allocation order of the STAs is shifted by two spaces to the right, they are allocated in the order of STA3, STA4, STA1, and STA2.
- Embodiments as described above are various examples of resource allocation using a group ID.
- a method of transmitting additional information using the group ID itself will be described. That is, a method of allocating resources differently according to a grouping type of a terminal is proposed.
- 18 to 21 are diagrams for describing a method of representing various pieces of information according to a group ID according to one embodiment of the present invention.
- grouping may be changed according to the type of OFDMA or MU-MIMO. That is, in the range of Group ID, a specific area can be used for OFDMA and a specific area for MU-MIMO. Therefore, a terminal supporting both OFDMA and MU-MIMO may be allocated all GIDs for two groups.
- the LSB (or MSB) of the Group ID indicates the type.
- the LSB (or MSB) is set to 0
- it indicates the MU-MIMO GID.
- the LSB (or MSB) is set to 1, it indicates the GID for OFDMA.
- a specific area may be allocated for BTU (Basic Tone Unit) allocation and a specific area for STU (Small Tone Unit) allocation in the range of Group ID.
- BTU Basic Tone Unit
- STU Small Tone Unit
- a specific area can be used for OFDMA and a specific area for MU-MIMO.
- the LSB (or MSB) of the Group ID may indicate the type. In this case, when the LSB is set to 0, it indicates the BTU GID, and when the LSB is set to 1, it indicates the STU GID.
- the Group ID region may be divided into four regions, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BTU, and STU, as shown in FIG. Alternatively, these may be mixed and used as shown in FIG. 21.
