Abstract
Water kinetic energy driven hydro turbine is disclosed to generate electricity utilizing the kinetic energy of the flowing water. The design of the turbine is such that it is conical shaped and the fins are attached in such a way that it gives a pointed face in one side and a broad fin end in another side and all the fins are curved in shape and attached to the turbine base in a manner so that it provides an angular shape, the turbine fins also have deep invert fold which gives space and converts maximum strike power of flowing water into torque. The screw like structure of the turbine allows is to cut the flow of water without disturbing the flow and then the water flows deeper into the groves of spiral fins and set the rotor in rotation. One or more such turbines are installed inside a floating case.
