Definitions
- the present invention relates to devices (preferably self-propelled) with a thermal engine or electric that allow the suction of all types of urban or industrial waste usually called urban or industrial vacuum cleaners.
- the present invention relates to a device carrying out the function, and more generally taking the form of a guide member, and in particular a handlebar.
- heat engines have been replaced by electric motors associated or not batteries, which are quieter and also allow to separate the pull functions suction functions. These devices have an autonomy of several hours to several days.
- handlebar a guide member more generally called "handlebar” which is in the form of a relatively long handle and a handle to allow a good grip
- the handle can be a handle called “closed” or “open”.
- the guide element or handlebar is used to control the direction of the self-propelled device that serves as an urban vacuum cleaner via a gear and a transmission.
- this type of device is generally self-propelled, there is a risk that the device continues to advance while the user is no longer present at his side.
- Various safety systems have already been provided in this regard, such as a wrist strap to be attached to the wrist of the user, capable of tearing in case of fall of the user, a handle to hold constantly and which turns off the contact as soon as it is released, or a presence detector which stops the machine in case of absence.
- Document FR2587740 discloses a manual mechanical floor pickling machine and comprising a drawbar that can serve as partially retractable control handle. It is not envisaged on this type of machine to provide an anti-crush mechanism.
- the present invention aims to propose a solution that solves these problems by proposing a guide element, and in particular a handlebar, which avoids any crushing of the user by allowing either the stop or the reversal of the motor of the urban vacuum cleaner.
- the present invention relates to an urban or industrial vacuum on chassis and self-propelled using at least one drive motor comprising a guide element preferably (or essentially) in the form of a handlebar with at least one handle, a handle and means or fasteners to the chassis of the vacuum cleaner, said means or fasteners for transmitting movement applied to the handle to direct said vacuum cleaner, said vacuum cleaner being characterized in that the handle comprises a telescopic zone with a sliding part able to move (slide) between a first so-called extended position and a second so-called retracted position, preferably with a return spring and at least one switch for detecting the position of the sliding part.
- the present invention relates to an urban or industrial vacuum cleaner on chassis and self-propelled using at least one drive motor
- a guide element preferably being (or essentially) in the form of a handlebar with at least one handle, a handle and means or fasteners to the chassis of the vacuum cleaner, said means or fasteners for transmitting movement applied to the handle to direct said vacuum cleaner
- said vacuum cleaner being characterized in that that the handle comprises a telescopic zone with a sliding part able to move (slide) between a first so-called extended position and a second so-called retracted position, preferably with a return spring and at least one motion detection switch of the sliding part, said switch being able to control the stopping or the reversal of the drive motor of the urban vacuum cleaner if the co ulante moves in to be in the retracted position.
- the present invention relates to an urban or industrial vacuum on chassis and autotracted with the aid of at least one drive motor comprising a guide element preferably being (or essentially) in the form a handlebar with at least one handle, a handle and means or fasteners to the chassis of the vacuum cleaner, said means or fasteners allowing the transmission of movement applied to the handle to direct said vacuum cleaner, said vacuum cleaner being characterized in that the handle comprises a telescopic zone with a sliding part able to move (slide) between a first so-called extended position and a second so-called retracted position, preferably with a return spring and at least one detection switch of the position of the sliding part, said switch being able to control the stopping or inversion of the drive motor of the vacuum cleaner urban if the sliding part is in the retracted position.
- a guide element preferably being (or essentially) in the form a handlebar with at least one handle, a handle and means or fasteners to the chassis of the vacuum cleaner, said means or fasteners allowing the transmission of
- said urban or industrial vacuum cleaner is such that the stroke of the sliding or telescopic portion is at least 80 mm, preferably at least 100 mm, preferably at least 150 mm
- the restoring force of the spring to be applied is between 100 and 200 N, and preferably close to 150 N.
- the return spring is configured to return, as soon as no force is exerted on the handle, said sliding portion of the handle in the extended position.
- the return spring is configured to be positioned in a retracted position as soon as a force is applied to said handle of the guide element.
- the sliding or telescopic portion has at least two sleeve parts provided with slip rings through which the two handle parts can fit one into each other. the other and move (slide) relative to each other.
- the lengths of each of said handle portions are substantially equivalent and at least greater than half of the total length of the handle.
- the detection switch is adapted to send a signal of electrical or optical preference as soon as the handle is no longer in its extended position.
- the detection switch comprises a mechanical part which will move and come into contact with an electrical part as soon as the sliding part (at the level of the telescopic zone) starts to move relative to the fixed part of the handle of the guide element.
- the detection switch comprises an optical part which will move and in contact with an electrical part as soon as the sliding part starts to move relative to the fixed part of the handle of the guide element.
- Figure 1 shows an apparatus for urban or industrial vacuum cleaner as currently used according to the state of the art but can also be used according to the present invention.
- Figures 2 and 3 show an embodiment of a guide element as it can be used according to the present invention in the position “at rest or extended” ( Figure 2) or the position "in action or retracted “( Figure 3).
- Figures 4 and 5 show sectional views of the guide element on the one hand in its entirety, on the other hand in more detail according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, with the main elements constitutive.
- Figures 6 and 7 show detailed views of the sliding portion of said guide member respectively in the rest position ( Figure 6) and in the retracted position ( Figure 7).
- FIG. 1 represents a general view of an urban or industrial vacuum cleaner which is simply shown schematically by reference numeral 1 and which is provided with a device serving as a suction nozzle 10.
- Engines allow suction and mobility of the vacuum cleaner 1.
- the engines can be constituted either by one or more heat engines, or one or more electric motors.
- electric motors are currently preferred because of their low noise pollution. More particularly, even more advantageously, one can consider the presence of two electric motors, one being directly dedicated to the mobility of the vacuum cleaner, the other being dedicated to the suction power. It is understood that in the case of the use of electric motors, there must be provided batteries that allow a relatively short charging time, an autonomy of several hours, and if possible 6 to 8 hours.
- a container 30 collecting the waste, and a filter 15, are positioned on a frame 50 provided with locomotion means 60.
- the frame 50 is conventionally a mechanically welded frame, optionally steel or stainless steel. We can also consider an aluminum chassis.
- a guide element essentially in the form of a handlebar 70 serves as a control arm for directing the urban or industrial suction apparatus 1.
- FIG. 2 shows this guide element 70 disengaged from the urban or industrial suction device.
- the guide element as shown in FIG. 2 comprises, in a fairly conventional manner, fastening means 710 to said urban or industrial suction apparatus and more particularly to the frame 50.
- Said guide member 70 has a fairly conventional handle 740 and a handle 730.
- the movement affixed to the handle 730 will be transmitted via the handle 740 and the fixing means 710 of the self-propelled apparatus which serves as an urban or industrial vacuum cleaner 1.
- This handle thus makes it possible to control the movement of said apparatus.
- control means may be provided on the handle 730 to stop or reverse at any time the operation of said urban or industrial vacuum cleaner 1.
- a telescopic zone which consists of a first portion of the so-called sliding or movable handle 745 which moves relative to a second portion of so-called fixed sleeve 750.
- the FIG. 2 corresponds to a state of the guide element in which the handle 740 is at rest (extended), with the telescopic zone, and therefore the sliding part, in the rest position (extended), whereas FIG. a state of the guide member in which the handle 740 is retracted, with the telescopic zone, and thus the sliding portion, in the retracted position.
- the dimensions of the sleeve tubes of the sliding 745 and fixed 750 are such that they allow interlocking via slip rings 746 and the displacement of one part relative to the other as illustrated in FIG. 4 .
- the stroke of the sliding portion 745 at the telescopic zone, inside or outside the fixed part 750 is at least 80 mm, preferably at least 100 mm. preferably at least 150 mm.
- the sliding portion 745 is able to move relative to the fixed part as soon as a force greater than 50 N, preferably 100 N, preferably close to 150 N is applied to the handle 730; which allows, if the user of the retracted vacuum abuts against an unforeseen obstacle, to generate an immediate movement, almost instantaneous, the device so as to avoid its abutment against said obstacle.
- the handlebar is provided with a switch 770 for detecting the movement of the sliding portion 745 relative to the fixed portion 750.
- a switch 770 for detecting the movement of the sliding portion 745 relative to the fixed portion 750.
- the switch 770 is present on a support said support switch 720.
- Said switch 770 comprises a mechanical part 771 able to detect the movement (position) of the sliding part 745 relative to the fixed part 750, for example using a wheel or wheel 773 (or any other equivalent means able to slide) which moves during the movement of the sliding part 745.
- the mechanical part 771 can then come into contact with a stop element, and preferably a conductive element, 772 which itself comes into contact with an electrical part 774.
- Said electrical part 774 can then directly emit an electrical signal in order to control in a conventional manner the stop or the reversing the drive motor of the device 1.
- the fixed part has a light 790 which is closed when the telescopic zone is in the retracted and free position when the telescopic zone is in extended position.
- a simple means of detection is to provide a light 790 in the fixed part 750 which corresponds to a light present in the sliding part 745 and which as soon as they are not more in phase detects a movement of the sliding portion 745 relative to the fixed portion 750 and thus actuates the switch.
- Figure 6 shows the sliding portion of said guide member in the rest or extended position
- Figure 7 showing this sliding portion in the retracted position.
- the switch 770 then allows a very conventional manner by electrical contact to send a command to the drive motor that allows either the stop thereof or its inversion.
- the detection switch in another embodiment, comprises an optical portion that will move and in contact with an electrical portion 774 as soon as the sliding portion 745 starts moving relative to the part fixed 750 of the handle 740 of the guide element 70.
