The flavor imparting agent for smoking articles of the present invention can be used for various smoking articles. For example, cigarettes and cigarettes with filters can be used for cigars and cigarillos.
In the case of a smoking article having a tobacco rod such as a cigarette or a cigarette with a filter, the flavor is delivered from the flavoring agent during smoking by inserting the flavoring agent into the tobacco rod as described above. The smoke imparting agent of the present invention allows the smoker to enjoy the flavor at any timing by inserting the smoker into the smoking article at any timing.
The present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the description of the following examples unless it exceeds the gist.
<実施例1>
<Example 1>
17 parts by weight of highly activated charcoal (activated carbon), 65 parts by weight of calcium carbonate and 4 parts by weight of carboxymethyl cellulose are mixed in water and kneaded, extruded to pass through a 2.0 mm diameter hole, and cut to 20 mm. did. The obtained extrudate was dried at 40 ° C. overnight to produce a rod-shaped support for supporting a fragrance.
The obtained carrier was immersed in a solution containing menthol as a fragrance at 60 ° C. for 2 hours. Thereafter, the carrier was taken out from the solution containing menthol, and the excess fragrance adhering to the carrier was allowed to stand at 50 ° C. for 12 hours to volatilize.
By the above operation, a rod-like flavor imparting agent 1 finally containing 14 parts by weight of a fragrance was obtained.
The obtained flavor-imparting agent 1 was inserted into a cigarette rod of a commercially available cigarette with a filter, and a test was performed to determine whether the flavor was delivered to the smoker during smoking. As a result, the flavor of menthol was delivered to smokers without any miscellaneous taste.
<比較例1>
<Comparative Example 1>
Using a flavoring agent using the same materials and procedures as in Example 1 and a flavoring agent made of wood, as in Example 1, it was inserted into a cigarette rod of a commercially available cigarette with a filter and smoked when smoking The flavor was delivered and tested. As a result, an undesirable miscellaneous taste believed to be due to wood burning was also delivered to smokers.
