Abstract

The present invention refers to a training system (1) for developing the skills of a player practicing at least one type of sport with a training object (6), such as for example a ball, disc or similar. In particular, the present invention relates to a training system (1) that provides visual signaling means (10) adapted for spatial referencing of training zones (A1), so as to increase the training possibilities in a respective training area (A) and relative to at least one training surface (B). The present invention further refers to a process of operation of a training system (1) that includes signaling of training zones (A1) as part of the training session.

The present invention relates to the field of training systems adapted for performance development of ball players or similar sports, and in particular including visual signaling means of training zones within a training area.

Prior art

Several prior art solutions are known in relation to training systems of the type of the present invention, in particular including at least one targeting training surface arranged next to a training area in which at least one player interacts with a respective player. training object, such as a ball.

US 6,135,456 discloses a training system having a structure within which one or a plurality of time-varying quadrangular targets are visually designated according to a predefined pattern. In particular, said targets are presented by illumination of the sides of each of a plurality of predefined squares. The training system includes a training area with visible markings, but these are the usual benchmarks of the sport in question and are not provided as independently actionable signaling elements and as part of the player's interaction with the training system in each play.

EP 1926535 B1 discloses a training system featuring a target projector rearwardly arranged to project targets onto a targeting surface provided in the form of a curtain wall comprising a plurality of vertical tapes of material. plastic. In addition, said target projector also indicates a location over the practice area where a ball will be thrown next. However, this solution requires relatively low ambient light conditions and is not easy for a player to practice in the training area because it is front-facing with respect to it.

None of the prior art documents disclose a training system that provides more training possibilities, including different pre-defined training zones and where the player must position himself to interact with at least one of his target surfaces. There is therefore a need to provide a plurality of training zones within a training area, visually signaling them individually to the player on each training play of a training session, in order to increase the player's possibilities for interaction on each play. contribute substantially to the effectiveness of training in a player engaged in a particular type of ball sport or the like.

General Description of the Invention

Detailed Description of the Invention

Figure 1 is a side perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the training system (1) according to the present invention showing structural means (2) disposed along a direction next to a training field (A). and presenting visual display means (3) extensively arranged on a surface along a respective training surface (B). In this embodiment the training system (1) has a training surface (B) and in an alternative embodiment has several, in particular four training surfaces (B) provided with a substantially quadratic arrangement, i.e. visual display means (3) arranged along four alignments surrounding a respective training field (A), so that a player can interact with four surrounding training surfaces (B).

Each of said training surfaces (B) has training field-oriented visual display means (3) adapted for displaying training references (4), including targets and others, through pixel type compositions. Advantageously, the training system (1) according to the present invention therefore provides the possibility of displaying shapes and / or symbols provided as targets to be hit by the player with, and obstacles or other references associated with said targets. . Said training references (4) further include irregularly shaped shapes of varying shape and size, as well as alphanumeric symbols and codes.

The training system (1) further comprises position determining means (5) provided in the form of a pair of linear chambers disposed in proximity, on each side, in front of and above the visual display means (2} and oriented in angle to collect the linear image of the entire training surface (B) together.

In addition, the training system (1) preferably comprises at least two video imaging devices (9) arranged to collect the at least partially front image of the player with respect to each training surface (B).

The training system (1) further comprises object launching means (7) adapted for automatically controlled projection of respective training objects (6), including balls, discs or the like, with a given trajectory and speed.

The training system (1) further comprises an automatic data processing device (8) provided in functional connection with said visual display (3), positioning determination (5) and object launching means (7}.

According to an inventive aspect, and as can be seen, the training system (1) further comprises means visual signaling means (10) provided as lighting devices / for example of the LED type or the like, and arranged to reference a training zone (A1). In the case of the embodiment shown in Figure 1, said visual signaling means (10) are provided at the level of the training area (A) and arranged successively along a circumferential perimeter alignment of a respective training zone. Dimensionally, in a preferred embodiment of the training system (1), said visual display means (3) is provided on at least one training surface (B) having a width of between 9 m and 15 m of a preferably between 11 m and 13 m, and a height between 2 m and 4 m, preferably on four training surfaces (8) arranged to surround a respective training area (A). Figure 2 shows a plan view of a first embodiment of the training system (1) according to the present invention, comprising only a training surface (B) adjacent to a training area (A). In this case, three training zones (A1, A2, A3) are provided arranged at a similar distance from the respective training surface (B) and advantageously identified by visual signaling means (10), provided for example as lighting devices or chromatic at ground level and along the outer perimeter of said training zones (Al, A2, A3). In the presented embodiment, the training zone (A2) is indicated to the player by lighting or chromatic actuation of said visual signaling means (10) of a certain intensity over a given period of time. Figure 3 shows a plan view of a second embodiment of the training system (1) according to the present invention, in which case four training zones (A1, A2, A3, A4) are arranged in type form. advantageously identified by respective visual signaling means (10), analogous to the first embodiment shown above.

According to a preferred embodiment, said visual signaling means (10) are provided autonomously in energy terms and as part of a wireless communication network, so that no connecting wires are required therewith.

Figure 4 shows a plan view of a third embodiment of the training system (1) according to the present invention, comprising only a training surface (B) adjacent to a training area (A). As can be seen, said training area (A) in this case has six training zones (Al, ..., A6), again arranged in regular matrix form and provided as reference locations where the player should interact with a player. training object (6) thrown at it by means of the object throwing means (7).
