Description

Dispensing holder
The present disclosure relates to a dispensing holder, and more particularly to a dispensing holder used for dispensing blood into a blood collection tube.
When collecting a biological sample such as blood, blood is often collected using a vacuum blood collection tube holder to which a blood collection needle is attached and a vacuum blood collection tube. However, there are cases where blood collection using a holder and a vacuum blood collection tube cannot be performed depending on the examination item or the state of blood vessels of the blood collection subject. In such a case, after collecting blood with a syringe, it is necessary to dispense the blood into a vacuum blood collection tube or the like. However, when dispensing from a syringe into a vacuum blood collection tube, a needle stick accident or the like is likely to occur, which is a serious problem. For this reason, in order to prevent the needle stick accident in the case of dispensing, various methods are examined.
For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a dispensing system including a cap that can be placed on a vacuum blood collection tube, a cannula attached to the cap, and a connecting part that is attached to the cap and connects the cannula and the tip of the syringe barrel. A holder is described.
Further, Patent Document 2 describes a dedicated puncture needle provided with a screw portion and a dispensing holder having a connection portion into which the puncture needle can be screwed. If blood is collected using a dedicated puncture needle and then the puncture needle is connected to the connecting portion, the cap of the vacuum blood collection tube can be easily punctured.

However, the dispensing holder described in Patent Document 1 has a problem that the syringe barrel and the puncture needle must be separated when the syringe is connected to the dispensing holder. When removing the puncture needle from the syringe barrel, a needle stick accident is likely to occur, and there is a big problem in terms of safety.
Further, the dispensing holder described in Patent Document 2 has a problem that blood must be collected using a dedicated puncture needle. There is also a problem that a needle stick accident is likely to occur when the puncture needle is fixed to the dispensing holder.

(First embodiment)
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the dispensing holder 101 of the present embodiment includes a cap part 110, a needle storage part 120, and a leg part 130. The cap part 110 has a cylindrical shape having an opening end 111 and a top plate part 112. The cap part 110 can insert a blood collection tube from the opening end 111 side, and can cover it. The needle accommodating portion 120 protrudes from the top plate portion 112 of the cap portion 110 to the side opposite to the opening end 111. The needle housing part 120 can house the puncture needle 301 with the tip end on the cap part 110 side. The leg part 130 can make the cap part 110 and the needle | hook accommodating part 120 self-supported on a plane. In this specification, the opening end 111 side of the cap part 110 is the front, the needle housing part 120 side is the rear, the direction connecting the front and the rear is the length direction, and the direction intersecting the length direction is the lateral direction. To do. Further, the upward direction and the downward direction will be described with reference to a state where the legs 130 are self-supporting.
As shown in FIG. 3, the needle housing unit 120 houses a puncture needle 301 having a needle body 302 and a needle hub 303 connected to the base of the needle body 302. The needle accommodating portion 120 has a groove 121 (channel) having a U-shaped cross section constituted by two side walls 120a and 120b facing each other and a bottom surface 120c connecting the two side walls 120a and 120b at the lower end. A holding portion 122 that holds the puncture needle 301 housed in the needle housing portion 120 is provided at the rear end of the needle housing portion 120.
The holding unit 122 holds the puncture needle 301 accommodated in the needle accommodating unit 120 and restricts movement in at least the length direction. Specifically, in the holding part 122, the interval between the side walls 120a and 120b is wider than the other part of the needle accommodating part 120, and the position of the bottom surface 120c is also lower than the other part of the needle accommodating part 120. . For this reason, the needle hub 303 of the puncture needle 301 can be inserted. In the vicinity of the rear end of the holding portion 122, the side walls 120a and 120b are provided with a protruding portion 124 projecting inward and a groove portion following the protruding portion. As a result, the side walls 120a and 120b and the bottom surface 120c have a C-shaped cross section that matches the shape of the needle hub 303. With the C-shaped section, the inserted needle hub 303 can be engaged with the holding portion 122, and movement thereof can be restricted.
The side walls 120a and 120b are thicker at the rear ends than the other portions, and serve as stoppers 125 that restrict the backward movement of the puncture needle 301. By providing the stopper 125, the backward movement of the puncture needle 301 can be more reliably restricted, and can be held more stably. A claw portion 126 is provided on the cap housing 110 side of the needle housing portion 120. The claw portion 126 comes into contact with the needle body 302 and restricts the upward movement of the puncture needle 301. By providing the claw portion 126, the puncture needle 301 can be held more stably. Further, the claw portion 126 functions as a lock mechanism that inhibits removal of the puncture needle 301 accommodated in the needle accommodation portion 120. For this reason, it becomes difficult to remove the puncture needle 301 from the dispensing holder 101, and the effect of preventing reuse of the dispensing holder 101 is also obtained. However, the claw portion 126 may not be provided. Further, a claw portion that comes into contact with the needle hub 303 instead of the needle body 302 can be provided.
The upper end portion of the needle accommodating portion 120 is an opening, and is a groove portion 121 that connects both end portions of the needle accommodating portion 120 in the length direction. A side opening 114 integrated with the groove 121 is provided on the side surface 113 of the cap portion 110. Further, a notch-like top plate opening 112 a is provided at a position corresponding to the groove 121 of the needle accommodating portion 120 in the top plate 112. The side opening 114 is integrated with the top plate opening 112a. The groove 121, the top plate opening 112 a, and the side surface opening 114 constitute a needle insertion slot 128 that extends from the rear end of the needle housing portion 120 to the opening end 111 side beyond the top plate portion 112 of the cap portion 110.
The length of the needle insertion slot 128 is designed to be longer than the length of the puncture needle 301. For this reason, the puncture needle 301 can be inserted into the needle insertion slot 128 from above and held by the holding portion 122 by aligning the length direction of the puncture needle 301 with the length direction of the dispensing holder 101. When the puncture needle 301 is accommodated in the needle accommodating portion 120, it is not necessary to move the puncture needle 301 forward, which is the direction in which the puncture is performed. From the viewpoint of the strength of the dispensing holder 101, the side opening 114 preferably does not reach the opening end 111 of the cap part 110. However, the side opening 114 may reach the opening end 111 of the cap 110.
The length of the needle accommodating portion 120 is designed to be shorter than the length of the puncture needle 301 to be accommodated, and the combined length of the needle accommodating portion 120 and the cap portion 110 is designed to be longer than the length of the puncture needle 301. ing. For this reason, when the puncture needle 301 is held in the holding portion 122 and the puncture needle 301 is received in the needle storage portion 120, the tip of the puncture needle 301 reaches the inside of the cap portion 110 beyond the top plate portion 112 of the cap portion 110. . However, the tip of puncture needle 301 does not protrude from open end 111 of cap portion 110.
Next, the usage method of the dispensing holder 101 of this embodiment is demonstrated. First, the dispensing holder 101 is self-supported on a plane such as a table. Subsequently, the puncture needle 301 of the collected syringe is connected to the dispensing holder 101. When connecting the puncture needle 301, the length direction of the puncture needle 301 is aligned with the length direction of the dispensing holder 101, the syringe is moved downward from above, and the puncture needle 301 is inserted from the needle insertion slot 128. As a result, the needle hub 303 of the puncture needle 301 is engaged with the holding portion 122, and the puncture needle 301 is accommodated in the needle accommodation portion 120.
Next, a blood collection tube is inserted from the open end 111. As a result, the puncture needle 301 punctures the cap of the blood collection tube and reaches into the blood collection tube. Subsequently, the blood in the syringe barrel 305 is dispensed into a blood collection tube. When a cap is punctured, a relatively large force is required. However, since the puncture needle 301 is held by the holding portion 122, it can be punctured easily.
When the puncture needle 301 attached to the syringe barrel 305 is punctured directly into the cap of the blood collection tube, a needle puncture accident is likely to occur. When the dispensing holder 101 of this embodiment is used, the cap of the blood collection tube can be punctured with the tip of the puncture needle 301 positioned in the cap portion 110. For this reason, possibility that a needle stick accident will arise can be made very small. Further, since the puncture needle 301 is connected to the dispensing holder 101 as it is without removing the puncture needle 301 from the syringe barrel 305, there is no possibility that a needle stick accident will occur when the puncture needle 301 is removed. Furthermore, the puncture needle 301 can be connected to the dispensing holder 101 by moving the puncture needle 301 not in the forward direction of puncturing but in the vertical direction. For this reason, even when the puncture needle 301 and the dispensing holder 101 are connected, a needle stick accident hardly occurs. In addition, after dispensing into the blood collection tube is completed, the puncture needle 301 can be discarded without being removed from the dispensing holder 101.
The dispensing holder 101 of the present embodiment has a leg portion 130 and can be self-supported with the needle insertion slot 128 on the upper side. For this reason, the puncture needle 301 can be held without touching the dispensing holder 101 with the dispensing holder 101 placed on a table or the like. For this reason, dispensing can be performed more safely.
In the present embodiment, the leg portion 130 is formed by the flange portions 131 and 132 provided on the opening end 111 and the top plate portion 112 of the cap portion 110 and the support wall 133 provided on the lower side of the needle housing portion 120. ing. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and any configuration may be employed as long as the dispensing holder 101 can be stably and independently supported. The height of the leg part 130 is not particularly limited, but when the syringe is connected to the dispensing holder 101, the height can be set such that the syringe barrel 305 contacts the plane on which the dispensing holder 101 is placed.
As long as the tip of the puncture needle 301 can be held so as to reach the cap portion 110 and can be inserted from the direction intersecting the direction of puncturing the puncture needle 301, the needle housing portion 120 may have any configuration. For example, the holding part 122 is configured to hold the needle hub 303 by a C-shaped section having the protruding part 124 and the retaining member 125. However, a recess that matches the shape of the needle hub 303 is provided. 303 may be inserted. The movement of the puncture needle 301 may be restricted, and the holding unit 122 may be engaged not with the puncture needle 301 but with an outer cylinder portion of the injection cylinder 305 to which the puncture needle 301 is connected. The configuration in which the heights of the side walls 120a and 102b of the needle accommodating part 120 are substantially the same as the height of the cap part 110 is shown. However, if the puncture needle 301 can be accommodated, the heights of the side walls 120a and 120b are the same as the height of the cap part 110. It doesn't have to match. Furthermore, the direction in which the puncture needle 301 is inserted may be a horizontal direction instead of the vertical direction. In this case, it is only necessary to provide a leg portion that is self-supporting so that the needle insertion slot 128 lies sideways.
In the present embodiment, an example in which the needle accommodation slot is longer than the puncture needle has been shown. However, if the needle hub is pushed and fixed from the rear side, the needle accommodation slot is longer than the puncture needle. It may be short. In this case, for example, the puncture needle is inserted into the needle accommodation slot from above in parallel with the needle accommodation slot. Thereafter, the puncture needle is moved forward, and the puncture needle is accommodated in the needle accommodation portion and held in the holding portion. In this configuration, the puncture needle is moved forward. At this time, the tip of the needle is housed in the housing and guided by the side wall, so that there is almost no risk of erroneous puncture.
(Second Embodiment)
In 1st Embodiment, although the dispensing holder with which the cap part and the needle accommodating part were united was shown, it is good also as a structure which can isolate | separate a cap part and a needle accommodating part. As shown in FIG. 4, the dispensing holder 102 of the present embodiment includes a cap part 210 and a needle storage part 220. In the dispensing holder 102 of the present embodiment, the cap part 210 and the needle storage part 220 are separated and can be separated.
The cap portion 210 has a cylindrical shape having an opening end 211 and a top plate portion 212. The top plate portion 212 is provided with a top plate opening portion 212a, and a female screw is cut at a position corresponding to the top plate opening portion 212a. Port portion 215 is provided. FIG. 4 shows an example in which flange portions 231 and 232 that are leg portions for preventing rolling are provided on the opening end 211 and the top plate portion 212 side, respectively.
The needle accommodating part 220 is a groove part 221 composed of two side walls extending in the length direction, and has a needle insertion slot. A connecting portion 226 connected to the port portion 215 is provided at the distal end portion of the needle accommodating portion 220. A holding portion 222 that holds the puncture needle 301 is provided at the rear end portion. The needle insertion slot reaches the rear end of the needle accommodating portion 220, but does not have to be provided in the connection portion 226.
The connection portion 226 is a male screw and can be connected to the port portion 215 in which the female screw is cut. However, the port unit 215 and the connection unit 226 may have any configuration as long as they can be connected to each other. For example, it can be a luer lock or the like. The holding part 222 is wider than the other part of the needle accommodating part 220, and the needle hub of the puncture needle can be inserted. The holding part 222 holds the puncture needle by sandwiching a needle hub between the two side walls. The slit provided in the side wall engages with the collar portion of the needle hub. For this reason, a puncture needle can be held more stably. In addition, it is possible to prevent re-exposure of the puncture needle due to the puncture needle being pulled backward.
Although the example in which the leg portion including the flange portions 231 and 232 is provided in the cap portion 210 and the dispensing holder 102 is self-supported with the groove portion 221 facing up is shown, the needle accommodating portion 220 may be provided with the leg portion. Legs may be provided on both the cap part 210 and the needle housing part 220. Further, the leg portion is not necessarily provided.
Next, a method of using the dispensing adapter 102 of this embodiment will be described. First, the cap part 210 and the needle accommodation part 220 are connected, and the groove part 221 is placed on the table with the groove part 221 facing up. Next, as shown in FIG. 5A, the puncture needle 301 is aligned with the groove 221 and the collected syringe is moved downward from above. As a result, the tip of the puncture needle 301 is accommodated in the needle accommodating portion 220 as shown in FIG. Next, as shown to Fig.6 (a), a syringe is moved ahead and the holding | maintenance part 222 and the needle hub 303 are engaged. The length of the needle accommodating portion 220 is shorter than that of the puncture needle 301, and the tip of the puncture needle 301 reaches the cap portion 210. However, the combined length of the needle housing part 220 and the cap part 210 is longer than the puncture needle 301, and the tip of the puncture needle 301 does not protrude from the open end 211 of the cap part 210.
Next, as shown in FIG. 6 (b), the blood collection tube 320 is inserted from the open end 111 side of the cap portion 210, and the cap 321 is punctured by the puncture needle 301. Thereafter, the blood in the syringe barrel 305 is dispensed into the blood collection tube 320. After the dispensing operation is finished, the puncture needle 301 can be discarded while being connected to the dispensing holder 102.
The dispensing holder 102 of the present embodiment can also perform dispensing safely in the same manner as the dispensing holder 101 of the first embodiment. In the dispensing holder 102 of the present embodiment, the puncture needle 301 is inserted into the groove portion 221 from above and then moved forward to engage with the holding portion 222. However, when the puncture needle 301 is moved forward, the tip of the puncture needle 301 is accommodated in the needle accommodating portion 220 and is guided by the side wall. For this reason, even if the puncture needle 301 is moved forward, a needle stick accident is unlikely to occur.
Since the dispensing holder 102 of the present embodiment has the cap part 210 and the needle accommodating part 220 as separate bodies, each can be formed of an optimum material. For example, the cap part 210 can be made of inexpensive polyethylene, polypropylene, or the like, and the needle housing part 220 can be made of polycarbonate or ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) resin that can easily ensure strength. However, the cap part 210 and the needle | hook accommodating part 220 may be formed with the same material. Moreover, it becomes easy to use the cap part 210 of an optimal diameter according to the blood collection tube to be used. However, the cap part 210 and the needle accommodating part 220 do not have to be separated and can be formed integrally.
In the first embodiment and the second embodiment, an example is shown in which legs are provided so that the dispensing holder is self-supporting. By providing the leg portion, the dispensing holder can be made independent and can be operated more safely. The configuration of the leg may be any configuration as long as the dispensing holder can be made independent. Further, the leg portion may not be provided.
Although the description has been made assuming that the puncture needle is connected to the syringe barrel, the puncture needle may be connected to another blood collection device. Further, the puncture needle may be connected to an injection cylinder or other blood collection device via a tube. As the puncture needle, a puncture needle such as a winged needle can be used in addition to a general needle. Moreover, it can also be set as a winged needle etc. by changing the structure of a holding | maintenance part. When the puncture needle is a winged needle, the wing portion of the winged needle and the holding portion may be engaged with each other.
The configuration in which the cap part and the needle accommodation part are connected so that the puncture needle is located in the radial center of the cap part when the puncture needle is held and accommodated in the needle accommodation part is shown. Since the puncture needle is positioned at the central portion in the radial direction of the cap portion, the central portion of the cap of the blood collection tube can be punctured. However, the puncture needle does not have to be located at the radial center of the cap portion.
The position of the puncture needle in the length direction when the puncture needle is held and accommodated in the needle accommodation portion may be a position that does not protrude from the opening end of the cap portion. From the viewpoint of preventing a needle stick accident, it is preferable to be positioned as close to the closed end as possible within the range where the cap of the blood collection tube can be punctured.
The diameter of the cap part may be adjusted to the diameter of the blood collection tube used. When the cap portion is designed according to the diameter of the thickest blood collection tube and a thin blood collection tube is used, an adapter may be used. A normal vacuum blood collection tube can be used as the blood collection tube. Although the case where blood is dispensed has been described in the present embodiment, the dispensing holder of the present disclosure can also be used for dispensing liquids other than blood.
The dispensing holder of the present disclosure can realize excellent safety without using a special puncture needle, and is particularly useful as a dispensing holder used for dispensing blood into a blood collection tube.
