Abstract

The invention relates to a regenerative fuel cell device (10) for a motor vehicle, which is configured to carry out an endothermic electrolysis under consumption of a supplied current, and to generate a current by means of an exothermic reaction that is reversible to the endothermic electrolysis. Furthermore, the regenerative fuel cell device (10) is configured such and can be connected, directly or indirectly, to a heat transfer device (14) of the motor vehicle and/or to a sorption refrigeration machine (16) of the motor vehicle such that a waste heat (12) from the regenerative fuel cell device (10) can be passed on to the heat transfer device (14), at least partially, and/or that at least one sub-unit (18) of the sorption refrigeration machine (16) can be heated by means of at least part of the waste heat (12) of the regenerative fuel cell device (10). The invention further relates to a method for varying a temperature in the vehicle interior of a motor vehicle equipped with a regenerative fuel cell device (10).
