Abstract
Ce système de frein à disques humide comprend un ensemble de disques (1) respectivement solidarisés à un organe rotatif (8) et à un élément (7) fixe par rapport au châssis du véhicule sur lequel ledit système est monté, ces disques étant soumis à l'action d'un piston (2), apte à exercer une pression sur les disques en direction de l'organe rotatif, ledit piston (2) étant lui-même soumis en permanence à l'action d'un système de ressorts (3) prenant appui sur un élément (5) fixe par rapport au châssis du véhicule, et dont l'action est neutralisée par un fluide hydraulique reçu à cet effet dans une chambre (6) de dégagement du piston (2), définie entre l'élément fixe (7) par rapport au châssis et un épaulement ménagé au sein dudit piston, ladite chambre étant alimentée par une source de pression hydraulique. Ce système comprend en outre un second piston (4), monté de manière antagoniste par rapport au piston (2), et recevant l'extrémité du système de ressorts (3) opposée à celle prenant appui contre le piston (2), ce second piston (4) étant susceptible de se déplacer en translation selon le même axe de translation du piston (2) et en direction de ce dernier sous l'action d'un fluide hydraulique générée par ladite source de pression hydraulique ou par une seconde source de pression hydraulique.
