Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Head-Up-Display umfassend ein System (7) zur Hintergrundbeleuchtung, ein System (5) zur Bildgebung, ein Steuersystem, und ein Sensorsystem zur Feststellung der Augenposition von Betrachtern, wobei das System zur Hintergrundbeleuchtung mindestens zwei getrennt schaltbare Elemente zur Emission von Licht (Lichtemitter) umfasst, deren Lichtemission vom Steuersystem individuell gesteuert werden kann, und sich zwischen dem System zur Hintergrundbeleuchtung und dem System zur Bildgebung eine Kondensor- und/oder Kollimatoroptik (6) befindet. Die Erfindung betrifft darüber hinaus ein Darstellungsverfahren, bei dem die Lichtemitter in Abhängigkeit der gemessenen Augenposition des Betrachters so gesteuert werde, dass lediglich die Lichtemitter eingeschaltet werden, deren Licht das rechte bzw. linke Auge des Betrachters erreicht.
