  • the cigarette with a filter of the present invention prevents propylene glycol contained in the solution added to the filter section constituting the filter part from volatilizing during storage of the cigarette with filter. From this, the cigarette with a filter of the present invention has high storage stability after production, and selective removal of specific components in tobacco smoke by propylene glycol even after a certain storage period until the smoker uses it. The effect on the product will not change. In addition, since the solution added to the filter is prevented from leaking out of the filter during storage, the appearance can be maintained well even after a certain storage period. According to the present invention, the solution having the specific composition can be retained in the filter without being held on a carrier such as silica gel or encapsulated in a capsule or the like.

Description

Cigarette with filter
The present invention relates to a cigarette with a filter.
When using cigarettes with a filter, research and development are actively conducted to give the filter the function of removing only unnecessary components during smoking among the components contained in cigarette smoke. As means for achieving this, there is known a method of adding a solution or the like in which a material for adjusting components contained in cigarette smoke is dissolved to a filter (for example, Patent Documents 1 to 5).
Patent Document 1 describes an aqueous liquid composition containing a polysaccharide and having a viscosity in a specific range as a nicotine reducing agent for reducing nicotine contained in cigarette smoke. Patent Document 1 also describes a nicotine-reducing smoking device having a filter portion holding the nicotine reducing agent.
In Patent Document 2, a filter section to which liquid fatty acid ester or liquid fatty acid having a specific viscosity is added, a filter section to which glycol (for example, propylene glycol) having a specific viscosity is added, and activated carbon is added to the downstream side of these filter sections. A cigarette filter having a filtered section is described. With such a configuration, it is described that each component in the smoke is filtered more efficiently than adding each component alone to the filter.
Patent Document 3 describes a cigarette having a homogeneous mixture of a polyol ester such as triacetin and a polyol such as propylene glycol inside the filter. Patent Document 3 contains a carbonaceous material in order to remove some gas phase components contained in cigarette smoke, and the above homogeneous mixture is used to improve the gas phase filtration performance of such a carbonaceous material. The inclusion is described.
Patent Document 4 describes a technique in which a porous material such as silica gel impregnated with propylene glycol or glycerin is added to a filter in order to change the composition of particulate matter contained in the smoke contained when smoking cigarettes. Yes.
Patent Document 5 describes a technique for improving the filtration function of components contained in cigarette smoke by crushing a sealed container in which water is enclosed before or during smoking so that the filter material absorbs water. ing.
特許第3882125号公報Japanese Patent No. 3882125 特許第3910175号公報Japanese Patent No. 3910175 特表2009-507518号公報Special table 2009-507518 米国特許公開第2008/0110470号明細書US Patent Publication No. 2008/0110470 特許第2515794号公報Japanese Patent No. 2515794
The nicotine reducing agent described in Patent Document 1 is not described regarding stability after being added to the filter.
The technique described in Patent Document 2 does not describe storage stability of a filter to which a specific solution is added, and a component that tends to volatilize such as propylene glycol is lost during storage of the filter.
In the technique described in Patent Document 3, it is only a carbonaceous material (for example, activated carbon) that is included for the purpose of adjusting the gas phase component in cigarette smoke, and the addition of polyol ester or polyol is only the carbon. This is to improve the air permeability of the quality material.
In the technique described in Patent Document 4, the porous body is impregnated with a diluent such as glycerin, and according to this, the contact area with cigarette smoke is reduced.
In the technique described in Patent Document 5, since the additive added to the filter is pure water, it is difficult to keep it in the filter unless it is sealed in a sealed container. In order to manufacture such a hermetic container and to enclose water in the hermetic container, the number of steps increases accordingly, and thus the cost is excessive.
As described above, in the technology described in each patent document, the component for selectively adjusting the component in the tobacco smoke added to the filter is stably kept in the filter at a low cost, and added. It was not possible to prevent the obtained solution from leaking out of the filter during storage.
As a result, the active ingredient added to the filter is lost, the function required by the active ingredient is not exhibited, and the solution added to the filter leaks out of the filter, so that the appearance of the cigarette with a filter is improved. There is a problem of being damaged.
From these, in the present invention, even after storage, the reduction of propylene glycol added to the filter to selectively remove some of the components contained in the tobacco smoke is suppressed, and the appearance is Provide a well-filtered cigarette.

<Cigarette with filter>
The cigarette with a filter of the present invention can adopt a known configuration except for a partial change of the filter portion. For example, the aspect provided with the tobacco rod part formed by wrapping normal tobacco fillers, such as a tobacco cut, with the tobacco wrapping paper, and the filter attached to the end of this tobacco rod part can be mentioned. The outer surface of a filter can mention the aspect wound by the chip paper through the winding paper and shaping | molding paper as a filter paper.
In the cigarette with a filter of the present invention, a specific solution is added to at least one filter section constituting the filter part in each of the following first and second aspects.
About a filter part, the thing of a well-known raw material can be used suitably in any section irrespective of whether a specific solution is added or not. For example, what uses acetate tow as a material can be mentioned. The single yarn fineness, total fineness, and cross-sectional shape of acetate tow are not particularly limited. In any material, adjustment of ventilation resistance and addition of additives (known adsorbents, fragrances, fragrance holding materials, etc.) can be designed as appropriate.
The filter paper referred to in the present invention is used to wind the outer surface of a filter used in a known cigarette with a filter, and is a general term for chip paper, molded paper, and web. Here, the web is used for winding in a cylindrical shape in direct contact with the filter tow. The formed paper has a plurality of filter sections wound with a web, and is used to fix a plurality of filter sections without disposing gaps between the filter sections or without disposing gaps. The chip paper is used to connect the tobacco rod and the filter unit.
When these filter papers are not made of a material containing a solution-impermeable layer, which will be described later, those of known materials can be used.
<First embodiment of the present invention>
A first aspect of the present invention is a cigarette with a filter having a tobacco rod portion, a filter portion, and a filter paper for winding the outer surface of the filter portion, wherein the filter portion is propylene glycol, A solution containing glycerin and a thickener is added.
The solution used in the first aspect of the present invention contains propylene glycol, glycerin, and a thickener.
By containing propylene glycol in the solution, a predetermined component contained in the smoke during smoking, such as phenol, can be selectively removed during smoking. On the other hand, limonene, which is one of the aroma components, passes through the filter without being removed. A commercially available propylene glycol can be used.
Moreover, it can prevent that the propylene glycol contained in the said solution volatilizes and lose | disappears during the storage of the cigarette with a filter because glycerin is contained in the said solution. Commercially available glycerin can be used.
Furthermore, the thickener is contained in the solution, so that the solution can be prevented from moving out of the filter and leaking, and thereby the appearance of the cigarette with a filter can be kept good.
The type of thickener can be used without particular limitation as long as it is soluble in propylene glycol or glycerin. For example, xanthan gum, gellan gum, psyllium seed gum, pectin, carboxymethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, polyvinyl Mention may be made of alcohol, agarose, pullulan, alginic acid, polyacrylic acid, and alkali metal salts or alkaline earth metal salts thereof.
The amount of propylene glycol after being added to the filter may be 10 to 100 mg / filter as the amount per cigarette with a filter. When the amount of propylene glycol is in this range, selective removal of specific components in tobacco smoke during smoking is ensured.
As for glycerin, an embodiment in which the amount after addition per filter cigarette is 1 to 150 mg / filter can be mentioned. By being 1 mg / filter or more, reduction of volatilization of propylene glycol can be secured. On the other hand, the upper limit amount of glycerin is determined from the viewpoint of securing a good suction feeling (not increasing the airflow resistance too much).
Further, the thickener varies depending on the type thereof. For example, when gellan gum is used, the amount per filter cigarette can be 0.045 to 100 mg / filter. In addition, when xanthan gum is used, an embodiment in which the amount per cigarette with a filter is 0.3 to 100 mg / filter can be given.
The proportion of each component contained in the solution at the time of addition to the filter can be 3 to 75% by weight for propylene glycol and 0.4 to 66% by weight for glycerin. On the other hand, with respect to the thickener, although it varies depending on the type, an embodiment in which the content is 0.01 to 87% by weight in the solution can be mentioned. Water can be mentioned as another component contained in the solution.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, in order to sufficiently remove unnecessary components in cigarette smoke, the filter is made so that the content of propylene glycol in the cigarette with filter after storage is 10 to 100 mg / filter. It is possible to adjust the concentration of each component of the solution added to the solution.
The method for adding the solution to the filter is not particularly limited, and a known method can be used. An example in which the solution contained in the filter is 50 to 250 mg / 10 mm can be mentioned. When the amount of the solution added to the filter exceeds 250 mg / 10 mm, when the filter is subjected to an external force and deformed, the solution may exude or leak out of the filter.
Note that “10 mm” used in the unit of the content of the solution means 10 mm in the longitudinal direction of the filter, and mg / 10 mm is the weight (mg) of the solution per 10 mm in the longitudinal direction of the filter.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the filter unit is composed of two or more filter sections. The solution is added to at least one filter section therein. The filter section to which the solution is added is not in contact with the tobacco rod part.
As described above, in the cigarette with a filter according to the first aspect of the present invention, since the solution having the specific composition is added to at least one filter section that is not in contact with the tobacco rod portion, the volatilization of propylene glycol during storage is prevented. Is prevented. Thereby, at the time of use of the cigarette with a filter of this invention, the effect | action by propylene glycol is not impaired.
Moreover, since the leakage of the solution during storage to the outside of the filter can be prevented, the appearance of the cigarette with a filter can be kept good.
As the filter section to which the solution is added, the solution can be added to any filter section that is not in contact with the tobacco rod portion of the two or more filter sections, and the solution is added to a plurality of filter sections. (Fig. 1). Further, when the solution is added to the filter section constituting the end portion on the suction side (FIG. 2) or when there are three or more filter sections, the end portion on the suction side is not in contact with the tobacco rod portion. There is also an embodiment (FIG. 3) in which the solution is added only to a filter section that is not configured, that is, a filter section that configures the middle in the axial direction.
The reason why the solution is not added to the filter section in contact with the tobacco rod portion is to prevent the solution from oozing out or leaking into the tobacco leaf or tobacco wrapping paper constituting the tobacco rod portion.

As a material including a solution-impermeable layer that can be used in the present invention, a solution-impermeable layer is laminated on the surface of a substrate by means of coating or vapor deposition, even if it is composed of only such a layer. In this case, the base material may have a solution-impermeable function.
The substrate may be a known paper used for filter wrapping paper or a polymer such as a polymer.
Materials that form the solution-impermeable layer include polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, cellulose, acetylcellulose, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyoxydimethylsilylene, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, polymethyl acrylate, polymethyl methacrylate And one or more selected from natural rubber, polybutadiene, and copolymers thereof, aluminum, alumina, and silica.
Examples of the material that forms the solution-impermeable layer include a mode in which a polymer compound such as polyethylene or polypropylene is used alone, and a mode in which only a polymer compound such as polyethylene or polypropylene is used as the material for the filter paper. Can also be mentioned.
When laminating a solution impermeable layer on a substrate, the layer thickness is not particularly limited, and can be appropriately set depending on the material of the substrate and the combination with the solution impermeable layer.
It is preferable that the filter paper made of the material including the solution impermeable layer is applied to the web contacting the filter section to which the solution is added from the viewpoint of not impairing the appearance of the cigarette with a filter. Chip paper, molded paper, or a web that winds the filter section to which the solution is not added may be made of a material including the solution-impermeable layer.
<Second embodiment of the present invention>
A second aspect of the present invention is a cigarette with a filter having a tobacco rod part, a filter part, and a filter paper for winding the outer surface of the filter part, wherein the filter part has one filter section. When there is a gap between the tobacco rod part and the filter section, when the filter part is composed of two or more filter sections, there is a gap between the tobacco rod part and the filter section or between the filter sections. A solution containing propylene glycol and glycerin is added to at least one of the filter sections on the suction side of the gap, and the filter paper includes a web, a molded paper, and a chip paper, The web that winds the filter section to which the solution has been added Is an aspect that has been fabricated from a material comprising an impermeable layer.
4 to 6 are diagrams showing their configurations. FIG. 4 shows a cigarette with a filter composed of a tobacco rod part 1 and a filter part 7, and a gap 3 is arranged between the filter sections 2. Of the two filter sections 2, the solution is added to one filter section (the section marked with *).
FIG. 5 has one filter section 2 as a filter section, and there is a gap 3 between the tobacco rod part and the filter section 2. The solution is added to filter section 2 (marked with *).
FIG. 6 shows an embodiment in which a plurality of filter sections to which the solution is added exist. The solution is added to the section of the filter section 2 where * is described.
As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, there may be one or more filter sections, while the gap may be not only one but also two or more. Examples of the position where the gap is disposed include between the tobacco rod portion and the filter section, or when there are a plurality of filter sections, between the filter sections.
The width of the gap is not particularly limited as long as the solution added to one filter section does not leak to another filter section, but is 1 to 20 mm, for example, from the viewpoint of ensuring the filter performance. It can adjust suitably between 6 mm.
The presence of a gap between the filter sections prevents leakage of the solution from the filter section to which the solution has been added to the adjacent filter section. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the solution from moving to the tobacco rod.
The filter section to which the solution is added is a filter section located on the suction side with respect to the gap.
As the filter paper, those described in the first aspect can be used.
In the second aspect of the present invention, a material including a solution-impermeable layer as a winding paper for winding a filter section to which at least the solution is added, among winding paper, molded paper, and chip paper, used as a filter paper. The one formed from is used. For example, in the filter section 2 shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the above-described solution impermeable layer is used for the web of the filter section marked with *. You may use the material containing said solution impervious layer also for the wrapping paper for filters other than that.
In the second aspect of the present invention, among webs, molded papers, and chip papers, a web made of a material including a solution-impermeable layer is used for the web that contacts the filter section to which the solution is added. is important.
As the solution impermeable layer, those described in the first embodiment can be used. Further, as a material including a solution-impermeable layer that can be used in the present invention, a solution-impermeable layer is coated on the surface of a substrate or means such as vapor deposition, even if the material includes only such a layer. The base material may be provided with a solution-impermeable function.
As a specific embodiment of the web, there can be mentioned one having a solution-impermeable layer on both sides of a base material such as plain paper. In that case, the solution-impermeable layers present on each surface may be made of the same material or different materials.
The substrate may be a known paper used for filter wrapping paper or a polymer such as a polymer. When laminating a solution impermeable layer on a substrate, the layer thickness is not particularly limited, and can be appropriately set depending on the material of the substrate and the combination with the solution impermeable layer.
In the second embodiment, the material that forms the solution-impermeable layer can include a mode in which a polymer compound such as polyethylene or polypropylene is used alone, and only a polymer compound such as polyethylene or polypropylene can be filtered. The aspect used as a material of the wrapping paper can also be mentioned.
In the second aspect of the present invention, of the filter paper covering the outer surface of the filter part, the web that winds the filter section to which the solution is added is formed from the material including the solution impermeable layer. This prevents the solution from leaking out of the filter. Thereby, the external appearance of the cigarette with a filter is kept good even after storage.
In addition to propylene glycol, the solution may contain a thickener used in the first aspect of the present invention. This can better prevent the solution from leaking out of the filter.
In the second aspect of the present invention, propylene glycol is contained in the solution, so that a predetermined component such as phenol contained in smoke during smoking can be selectively removed during smoking. A commercially available propylene glycol can be used.
Moreover, it can prevent that the propylene glycol contained in the said solution volatilizes and lose | disappears during the storage of the cigarette with a filter because glycerin is contained in the said solution. Commercially available glycerin can be used.
An example in which the solution contained in the filter is 50 to 250 mg / 10 mm can be mentioned. When the amount of the solution added to the filter exceeds 250 mg / 10 mm, when the filter is subjected to an external force and deformed, the solution may exude or leak out of the filter.
Further, as in the first aspect of the present invention, when the thickener is contained in the solution, it is possible to better prevent the solution from leaking from the filter, thereby improving the appearance of the cigarette with a filter. Contribute to keeping.
When a thickener is included in the solution, it varies depending on the type of the solution. For example, when gellan gum is used, the amount per filter cigarette is 0.045 to 100 mg / filter. Can do.
On the other hand, in the case where a thickener is included, there may be mentioned an embodiment in which 0.01 to 87% by weight in the solution, although it varies depending on the type. Water can be mentioned as another component contained in the solution. An example in which the solution contained in the filter is 50 to 250 mg / 10 mm can be mentioned. When the amount of the solution added to the filter exceeds 250 mg / 10 mm, when the filter is subjected to an external force and deformed, the solution may exude or leak out of the filter.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, in order to sufficiently remove unnecessary components in cigarette smoke, the filter is used so that the content of propylene glycol in the cigarette with filter after storage is 10 to 100 mg / filter. It is possible to adjust the concentration of each component of the solution added to the solution.
Components other than the components described above may be included in the solution added to the filter used in each of the first and second aspects of the present invention.
Examples of such components include water as a solvent for the solution and triacetin as a plasticizer for tow constituting a filter.
With respect to water, an embodiment in which 3.8 to 97 mg / filter is contained as the amount per cigarette can be mentioned.
As for the plasticizer such as triacetin, an embodiment in which 0 to 60 mg / filter is contained as the amount per cigarette can be mentioned.
As other components, an adsorbent for enhancing adsorption performance, a fragrance for imparting a fragrance release function, or a colorant for use in quality inspection can be added.
The filter may incorporate activated carbon, capsules, strings, and the like.
When there is a gap between the tobacco rod portion and the filter section or between the plurality of filter sections as in the second aspect of the present invention, at least the filter section of the filter paper to which the solution is added. As a paper for wrapping paper, a paper made of a material including a solution-impermeable layer is used, but other filter paper (molded paper, chip paper, paper for wrapping a filter section to which the solution is not added) is used. You may use what consists of a material containing a solution impermeable layer.
The chip paper used in the present invention can be provided with ventilation holes for adjusting the ratio of the mainstream smoke and air to be inhaled during smoking (the chip paper indicated by 6 in FIGS. 1 to 6 is indicated by a dotted line). As shown). There is no restriction | limiting in particular about arrangement | positioning of a ventilation hole, The aspect arrange | positioned so that it may become 1 row or 2 rows in the circumferential direction of a cigarette can be mentioned. Moreover, there is no restriction | limiting in particular also about the pitch of a ventilation hole, the magnitude | size of a hole, and the opening method.
With respect to the position of the ventilation hole, in both the first and second embodiments described above, the ventilation hole is located at least 2 mm away from the end of the tobacco rod side of the filter to which the specific solution is added toward the tobacco rod side. Preferably they are arranged. By doing so, the taste can be improved. Further, it is possible to prevent a ventilation hole from being present at a position on the filter to which the solution is added or a ventilation hole from being present at a position between the filter sections.
In the case where ventilation holes exist on the filter to which the solution is added, ventilation does not appear due to the presence of the web, or if the ventilation holes are provided in the web, the solution leaks from the opening. there's a possibility that. In addition, when ventilation holes exist between the filter sections, there is a possibility that the variation of the ventilation becomes large or the filter part is damaged by the operation at the time of fire extinguishing.
The present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the description of the following examples unless it exceeds the gist.

In Tables 1 and 2 above, “Appearance” of ○ indicates that the appearance is not impaired, and × indicates that a stain has occurred. More specifically, a panel of 5 panelists who compared the appearance of the commercial cigarette sample and the test sample after storage under the storage conditions of the storage test of (3) above, and found a panel with a difference in appearance. When it was less than one name, “◯” was given, and when it was two or more people, “x” was given.
(5) Storage test results Tables 1 and 2 above show details and Fp of the prepared cigarette samples. From Tables 1 and 2, when the additive solution contains glycerin and a thickener (Examples 1 and 2), or the additive solution contains glycerin, a gap structure is formed adjacent to the filter section to which the solution is added. The filter section to which the solution is added is covered with a solution-impermeable polypropylene (Example 3), and Fp is larger than when no element is included (Comparative Example 1). I found out that
In the aspect in which the filter part is composed of two or more filter sections and the solution is added to the filter section that does not contact the tobacco rod part, the solution does not contain one or both of glycerin and a thickener. In the case where the Fp is low and the filter portion has a gap, when the web that winds the filter section to which the solution is added is not made of a material including a solution-impermeable layer, Fp is It was low.
Moreover, in the comparison between Example 1 and Example 2, Fp becomes larger by making the web that winds the filter section to which the solution is added, a material including a solution-impermeable layer. I understood that.
(6) Evaluation of filtration function of components in tobacco smoke by filter A commercially available cigarette with a filter (tar 6 mg, nicotine 0.5 mg) was used as a tobacco rod part. A filter made of acetate tow to which a predetermined amount of propylene glycol (PG; manufactured by Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., food additive grade) is added (manufactured by Nippon Filter Industry Co., Ltd., single fiber degree 5.9 denier, total fineness 35000 denier Prepared for each propylene glycol content by preparing a filter part by surrounding the side part of Y-shaped cross section, length 10 mm) with polypropylene adhesive tape (BH-12, manufactured by Sumitomo 3M Limited) did. On the other hand, of the cigarette filter (tar 6 mg, nicotine 0.5 mg) filter available on the market, the side part of the section where activated carbon is added is surrounded by cellophane tape (Sumitomo 3M Co., Ltd., BH-12). A filter part was prepared. A cigarette sample used for the test was prepared by joining the filter part and the tobacco rod part using an adhesive tape (BH-12, manufactured by Sumitomo 3M Limited). In addition, in order to calculate the filtration rate for components in cigarette smoke, a filter was removed from a commercially available cigarette with a filter, and a cigarette sample in which the ventilation holes were closed with an adhesive tape (BH-12, manufactured by Sumitomo 3M Limited) was prepared ( Standard sample).
Using an automatic smoking machine (Borgwald KC Inc., RM-20D), the same 10 cigarette samples were sampled with a smoke absorption capacity of 17.5 mL / second, a smoke absorption time of 2 seconds / puff, a smoke absorption frequency of 1 puff / minute, and a butt length. It smokes automatically under the condition of 18 mm, and particulate matter (TPM) in cigarette smoke is collected by a Cambridge filter (Borgwald KC Inc., CM-133), and the smoke passing through the Cambridge filter consists of dry ice-isopropanol. It was collected in 10 mL of methanol (manufactured by Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., special grade reagent) cooled to −70 ° C. with a refrigerant. The TPM weight was evaluated by the weight difference of the Cambridge filter before and after smoking. The TPM collected by the Cambridge filter was shaken in methanol used for collecting the smoke component that passed through the Cambridge filter to obtain an analytical sample. 1 μL of the obtained analytical sample was collected in a microsyringe and analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MSD). As GC, Agilent Technologies Inc. Agilent G3440A manufactured by Agilent Technologies Inc. is used as the MSD. Made from Agilent_G3172A.
 Ei=(Ai,in-Ai,out)/(Ai,in)  (I)
 Sx,i=(1-ETPM)/(1-Ei) (II)
By comparing the TPM weight per cigarette sample derived by the above method and the amount of various components in cigarette smoke with the addition of propylene glycol, the addition of activated carbon, and the standard sample According to the following formulas (I) and (II), the filtration rate E i and the selective filtration coefficient S x, i for the component i in the tobacco smoke were obtained. The results are shown in FIGS.
E i = (A i, in −A i, out ) / (A i, in ) (I)
Here, A i, in represents the peak area of the component i in the smoke obtained from the standard sample, and A i, out represents the peak area of the component i in the smoke obtained from the example or the comparative example.
S x, i = (1-E TPM ) / (1-E i ) (II)
Here, E TPM is the filtration rate with respect to TPM in Examples or Comparative Examples. When E i is greater than E TPM , that is, when selective filtration is seen for component i, the value taken by S x, i increases. Therefore , the selective removal performance of the smoke component can be evaluated based on the value of S x, i .
(7) Evaluation of filter function of cigarette smoke components by filter FIGS. 7 and 8 show the influence of the amount of PG contained in the filter on the selective filtration coefficient for phenol and limonene. From the results shown in FIG. 7, it was found that the inclusion of PG in the filter increases the selective filtration coefficient for phenol, that is, improves the ability to filter unnecessary components. Furthermore, it has been found that the filtering ability for unnecessary components exceeds the filtering ability by activated carbon generally used conventionally when the amount of PG in the filter is 10 to 100 mg. Further, FIG. 8 indicates that the inclusion of PG in the filter does not increase the selective filtration coefficient for limonene, that is, the ability to permeate the necessary components is maintained.

Filter paper, test sample, filter paper containing no solution, 5 mg of filter paper soaked in solution from the bottom of the container in a polystyrene container (inner dimensions: width 105 mm, length 75 mm, height 30 mm, wall thickness 2 mm) If arranged in the order of. At this time, the two filter papers were arranged so that the four sides overlapped with the test sample in between. The container was sealed with parafilm (manufactured by (Pechiny Plastic Packaging Company), (HS234526A)), and then allowed to stand for 1 week in a space at a temperature of 22 ° C. and a relative humidity of 60%. After standing, the filter paper arranged on the upper stage of the test sample was collected, and the amount of PG contained in the filter paper was quantified according to CORESTA RECOMMENDED METHOD N ° 60.
(9) Evaluation of solution impermeability Table 3 shows the results of evaluating solution impermeability and details of the samples used for the impermeability evaluation. From the results, it was found that aluminum paper, polypropylene film, polyethylene film, and hot-melt paste-coated plain paper had a lower PG permeation amount than plain paper.
When “Appearance” is “◯”, the appearance is not impaired, and “X” indicates that a stain has occurred. Specifically, the appearance test of the test sample subjected to the test of (8) was conducted by 5 panelists, and when there were 1 or less panels that were stained by the solution in appearance, “◯”, When it was two or more, it was set as “x”.

Examination of the amount of solution added to the filter A solution containing 5% by weight of propylene glycol: glycerin: water and 2% by weight of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC Daicel 1390) (reduce for visualization) Is added to the filter bag (double-sided laminate web), and after crushed 2 mm with a creep meter, the weight of the filter is re-quantified to reduce the solution loss. The amount was quantified. When the solution was added and after leaving a displacement of 2 mm with a creep meter, it was allowed to stand for a certain time (10 seconds), and then the creep meter was pulled up to evaluate the appearance.
As an evaluation standard, when the solution oozes out to the plain paper or the surface which is the intermediate layer of the double-sided laminated web, the appearance is x.
As the double-sided laminated web, a paper having a front side made of polypropylene, an intermediate layer made of plain paper, and a back side made of polyethylene was used.
For Lots 1 to 8 in Table 4, the above solutions were added in the addition amounts shown in Table 4.
As for the addition method, lots 1 to 7 were added with an auto pipettor at the center of the cross section of the filter (10 mm) around which the double-sided laminated paper was wound.
For Lot 8, the solution was sprayed with a nozzle at the deli roll point before adding the plasticizer in the filter hoist, and the filter to which the solution was to be added was wound up with a double-sided laminate web. About the addition amount of the solution, it computed by quantifying the filter weight before and behind trial manufacture.

The cigarette with a filter of the present invention prevents propylene glycol contained in the solution added to the filter section constituting the filter part from volatilizing during storage of the cigarette with filter.
