Abstract

Capteur magnétostrictif pour la mesure d'une distance ou d'une position, qui comporte au moins une fibre optique (300, 305) pourvue d'une gaine magnétostrictive (315), à l'aide de laquelle la position d'un objet magnétique (307) peut être détectée dans la direction de la fibre optique (300, 305). Selon l'invention, ladite fibre optique (300, 305) comporte un réseau de Bragg (310) dont la constante de réseau peut être modifiée par l'action mécanique de l'effet magnétostrictif, produit par l'objet magnétique (307), de la gaine magnétostrictive (315).
