Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Audiowiedergabe in einem Mehrkanaltonsystem mit zwei Eingangssignalen (L und R), bei dem Ausgangssignale für verschiedene Hörebenen erzeugt werden. Um das Verfahren derart weiterzuentwickeln, dass die Audiowiedergabe in einem Mehrkanaltonsystem einen größeren Anwendungsbereich erhält, schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass nur eine untere Hörebene (7) und nur eine obere Hörebene (6) erzeugt werden, wobei maximal sechs Ausgangssignale generiert werden mit maximal zwei Ausgangssignalen für die untere Hörebene (7) und maximal vier Ausgangssignalen für die obere Hörebene (6).
