본 발명은 여러 가지 형상을 가질 수 있으면서도 개개의 변형 가능한 형상에서 가방 본래의 기능을 충실히 수행할 수 있는 가방을 제공하는 것을 다른 목적으로 한다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 대표적인 구성은 다음과 같다.

도 1을 참조하여 살펴본다. 가방 본체(100)는 상판(102)과 하판(103)으로 이루어진다. 가방 본체(100)를 이루는 상판(102)과 하판(103)은 자유롭게 접혀질 수 있는 재질로 이루어진다. 흔히 가방의 재질로 선택되는 천연가죽, 인조가죽, 패브릭 및 플라스틱 소재 중 자유롭게 접혀질 수 있는 재질이 본 발명에 따른 가방을 위하여 선택된다. 가방 본체(100)의 상판(102)과 하판(103)은 겹쳐진 상태에서 좌측 및 우측 모서리가 결합되어 본체를 형성한다. 결합 방식은 박음질 방식일 수도 있고 접착 방식일 수도 있으며, 상판과 하판의 좌측 및 우측 모서리를 견고하게 결합하는 이상 그 이외의 어떤 결합 방식이 채택되어도 무방하다. 상판(102)과 하판(103)의 좌측 및 우측 모서리는 상호 결합되는 반면, 상측 및 하측 모서리는 개방된다. 이와 같이 개방된 상측 및 하측 모서리에는 각각 개폐수단이 설치된다. 도면에 상측 개폐수단은 도면부호 108a로, 하측 개폐수단은 도면부호 108b로 지시되어 있다. 개폐수단은 지퍼일 수도 있고, 벨크로일 수도 있으며, 상측 및 하측 모서리를 선택적으로 개방 또는 폐쇄하는 이상 그 이외의 어떤 개폐 방식이 채택되어도 무방하다. 좌측 모서리 부근에는 상하 방향을 따라 복수개의 구멍의 열(110)이 형성되고, 우측 모서리 부근에는 상기 좌측 모서리 부근에 형성된 구멍의 열(110)에 대응하는 위치에 구멍의 열(120)이 형성된다. 개별적인 구멍에는 금속 또는 플라스틱 등의 소재로 형성된 링 형상의 테두리(130)가 설치될 수 있다. 구멍에 형성된 테두리(130)는 구멍이 마모되는 것을 방지할 뿐만 아니라 가방의 형상 설정을 위하여 가방 끈이 결합될 때 가방 끈과의 결합을 보다 견고하게 유지하는 역할을 수행한다. 도 1에 도시된 가방 본체(100)에는 상측 모서리와 하측 모서리 사이에 구분 봉제선(106)이 형성되어 있다. 이 구분 봉제선(106)은 상측 모서리 및 하측 모서리와 평행인 방향으로 형성되어, 가방 본체(100)의 수납 공간을 상하로 구분하는 역할을 수행하는 것으로서, 그 위치가 반드시 가방 본체(100)의 정중앙일 필요는 없다. 이러한 구분 봉제선(106) 없이도 본 발명에 따른 변형 가능한 형상을 가진 가방의 실시는 얼마든지 가능하다.
도 2a와 도 2b는 도 1에 도시된 가방 본체의 하단 1/3 부분이 겹쳐져서 핸드백 형상의 가방을 형성하는 모습을 도시하고 있다. 도 3a와 도 3b 는 도 1에 도시된 가방 본체의 하단 1/2 부분이 겹쳐져서 배낭 형상의 가방을 형성하는 모습을 도시하는 도면이다.
도 2a와 도 2b, 도 3a와 도 3b를 더 참조하여 도 1에 도시된 가방 본체가 원하는 가방 형상을 취하는 방식에 대하여 설명한다.
도 2a와 도 2b의 실시예에서는 가방 본체의 하단 1/3 부분이 상하 방향으로 접혀진다. 가방 본체(100)를 삼등분으로 나누었을 때 접혀진 하단 1/3 부분은 중단 1/3 부분 상에 겹쳐지도록 위치된다. 이 상태에서 접혀진 하단 1/3 부분의 좌우측 모서리 부분에 형성된 각각 두 개씩의 구멍의 열이 중단 1/3 부분의 좌우측 모서리 부분에 형성된 각각 두 개씩의 구멍의 열과 연통하게 된다. 도 2a의 실시예에서, 연통된 구멍의 열 중 상단 구멍에 가방 끈(300)이 연결되어 있다. 가방 끈(300)은 가방과의 연결 부위에 도 4에 자세히 도시된 바와 같이 T자형 고리(304)와 이에 달린 반원형 고리(302)를 포함할 수도 있지만, 가방 끈(300)의 가방 본체(100)와의 연결 부위 구조가 반드시 이와 같이 한정되는 것은 아니다. 가방 끈(300)의 연결 부위가 도 4에 도시된 바와 같은 구조를 갖는 경우, T자형 고리(304)가 접혀진 가방 본체 부분과 접혀지지 않은 가방 본체 부분의 연통된 구멍들을 함께 관통하여 체결된다. 이와 같은 방식으로 가방 끈(300)이 체결된 상태에서 가방 끈(300)을 사용하여 가방을 들면 가방 자체의 하중에 의하여 가방이 아래로 쳐지면서 가방 본체의 접혀진 부분과 접혀지지 않은 부분이 서로 밀착하게 되어 가방의 형상을 유지한다. 접혀진 상태에서 가방 형상의 유지를 보다 확실하게 하기 위하여 고리(200)가 사용될 수 있다. 고리(200)의 구조는 도 4로부터 보다 확실하게 파악할 수 있다. 고리(200)는 도 2a에 도시된 바와 같이 연통하는 구멍의 열 중 하단 구멍에만 체결될 수도 있고, 도 2b에 도시된 바와 같이 상하단 구멍에 모두 체결될 수도 있으며, 고리(200)의 체결 없이 가방 끈(300)에 의한 비교적 느슨한 형상 유지만으로 가방을 사용하는 것도 가능하다. 상단 구멍에 고리(200)가 체결되는 경우의 연결 상태는 도 2b에, 가방 끈(300)과 고리(200)의 연결 방식은 도 4의 상단 그림에 자세히 도시된다. 즉, 가방 끈(300)의 T자형 고리(304)가 직접 가방 본체(100)의 구멍에 체결되지 않고, 가방 끈(300)의 반원형 고리(302)가 가방 본체(100)의 구멍에 체결된 고리(200)에 끼워지는 방식으로 가방 끈(300)의 고리(200)를 경유한 가방 본체(100)의 구멍과의 체결이 이루어진다. 도 2b에 도시된 바와 같이, 상단 구멍과 하단 구멍 모두에 고리(200)가 체결되는 경우 가방의 형상 유지가 보다 확실하게 이루어질 수 있다. 이와 같이, 가방 끈(300)과 고리(200)의 연결에 의하여 핸드백형 가방의 형상이 결정된 상태에서, 가방 본체(100)의 상단 1/3 부분은 핸드백 형상 가방의 덮개로 사용된다. 이를 위하여 상측 개폐수단(108a)은 도 2a와 도 2b에 도시된 바와 같이 가방 본체(100)의 개방된 상측 모서리를 폐쇄함이 바람직하다. 하측 개폐수단(108b)은 사용자가 물건을 수납하거나 수납된 물건을 꺼낼 때 선택적으로 개폐될 수 있다.
도 3a와 도 3b의 실시예에서는 가방 본체의 하단 1/2 부분이 상하 방향으로 접혀진다. 가방 본체(100)를 이등분으로 나누었을 때 접혀진 하단 1/2 부분은 접혀지지 않은 나머지 1/2 부분 상에 겹쳐지도록 위치된다. 이 상태에서 접혀진 하단 1/2 부분의 좌우측 모서리 부분에 형성된 각각 세 개씩의 구멍의 열이 접혀지지 않은 나머지 1/2 부분의 좌우측 모서리 부분에 형성된 각각 세 개씩의 구멍의 열과 연통하게 된다. 도 3a의 실시예에서 좌측 모서리 부분의 연통된 구멍의 열(110) 중 최상단 구멍에 가방 끈(300)의 일단부가 연결되고, 가방 끈(300)의 타단부는 동일한 열(110)의 최하단 구멍에 연결된다. 이와 마찬가지로 우측 모서리 부분의 연통된 구멍의 열(120) 중 최상단 구멍에 또 다른 가방 끈(300)의 일단부가 연결되고, 이 가방 끈(300)의 타단부는 동일한 열(120)의 최하단 구멍에 연결된다. 이와 같이 두 개의 가방 끈(300)이 각각 좌측과 우측 구멍의 열에 연결된 상태에서 사용자는 좌측 가방 끈(300)을 우측 어깨에 우측 가방 끈(300)을 좌측 어깨에 착용함으로써 가방을 배낭 형태로 사용할 수 있다. 도 3a 및 도 3b의 실시예에서도 도 2a 및 도 2b의 실시예에서와 마찬가지로 배낭 형태를 보다 확실하게 유지하기 위하여 고리(200)를 연통된 구멍들 중 일부 또는 전부에 체결할 수 있다. 도 3a는 고리(200)가 가방 끈(300)이 체결되지 않은 가운데 구멍에만 체결되어 있는 실시예를 도시하고, 도 3b는 고리(200)가 최상단 및 최하단 구멍에 체결되고, 가방 끈(300)이 고리(200)에 체결된 실시예를 도시한다. 이와 같이, 가방 끈(300)과 고리(200)의 연결에 의하여 배낭형 가방의 형상이 결정된 상태에서 상측 개폐수단(108a)을 항상 폐쇄 상태로 유지하고 하측 개폐수단(108b)을 선택적으로 개폐함으로써 이를 통한 물건의 수납이 이루어지게 할 수 있고, 그 반대, 즉 하측 개폐수단(108b)을 항상 폐쇄 상태로 유지하고 상측 개폐수단(108a)을 선택적으로 개폐함으로써 이를 통한 물건의 수납이 이루어지도록 할 수도 있다. 한편, 도 3a 및 도 3b에 도시한 바와 같이, 상측 개폐수단(108a)과 하측 개폐수단(108b)을 모두 개방한 상태에서 물건을 수납하는 것 역시 가능하다.
본 발명의 활용예
본 발명의 활용예는 도 2와 도 3에 각각 도시된 핸드백 및 배낭 형상으로의 사용에 한정되지 않는다. 도 2와 도 3의 실시예에서는 모두 가방 끈을 사용하고 있지만 가방 끈을 전혀 사용하지 않고 고리만으로 변형된 가방의 형상을 유지하는 것이 가능하다. 이로써 끈이 달려 있지 않은 가방의 형상, 예컨대 장지갑 형상으로 본 발명의 가방이 변형되어 사용될 수도 있다.
이상에서 본 발명이 구체적인 구성요소 등과 같은 특정 사항과 한정된 실시예 및 도면에 의하여 설명되었으나, 이는 본 발명의 보다 전반적인 이해를 돕기 위하여 제공된 것일 뿐, 본 발명이 상기 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상적인 지식을 가진 자라면 이러한 기재로부터 다양한 수정 및 변경을 꾀할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 사상은 상기 설명된 실시예에 국한되어 정해져서는 아니 되며, 후술하는 특허청구범위뿐만 아니라 이 특허청구범위와 균등한 또는 이로부터 등가적으로 변경된 모든 범위는 본 발명의 사상의 범주에 속한다고 할 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 좌측 및 우측 모서리가 폐쇄된 가방 본체를 포함하고,
    상기 가방 본체의 상측 및 하측 모서리는 개방되고,
    상기 상측 및 하측 개방 모서리에는 개폐수단이 설치되고,
    상기 가방 본체의 좌측 모서리 부근에는 상하 방향을 따라 복수개의 구멍의 열이 형성되고,
    상기 가방 본체의 우측 모서리 부근에는 상기 좌측 모서리 부근에 형성된 구멍의 열에 대응하는 위치에 구멍의 열이 형성되고,
    상기 가방 본체는 접혀진 가방 본체 부분이 접혀지지 않은 가방 본체 부분 상에 겹쳐지도록 상하 방향으로 접혀지고,
    상기 접혀진 가방 본체 부분이 상기 접혀지지 않은 가방 본체 상에 겹쳐진 상태에서 상기 접혀진 가방 본체 부분의 좌측 및 우측 구멍의 열이 상기 접혀지지 않은 가방 본체 부분의 좌측 및 우측 구멍의 열에 연통하고,
    상기 연통된 구멍의 열을 관통하여 가방 끈 또는 고리 또는 가방 끈과 고리가 체결되는 것을 특징으로 하는
    가방.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 가방 본체는 상판과 하판이 겹쳐진 상태에서 이들 각각의 좌측 및 우측 모서리가 서로 결합되어 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가방.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 가방 본체의 좌측 및 우측 모서리 부근에 형성된 구멍의 열에는 금속 또는 플라스틱 소재의 테두리가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가방.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    가방 본체의 상측 모서리와 하측 모서리 사이에는 이들과 평행인 방향으로 형성되고 가방 본체의 수납공간을 분할하는 구분 봉제선이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가방.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    가방 끈의 단부에는 T자형 고리와 반원형 고리가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가방.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    가방 끈이 고리를 경유하여 가방 본체에 체결될 때, 가방 끈의 반원형 고리가 가방 본체에 체결된 고리에 끼워지는 것을 특징으로 하는 가방.
