  • the method includes determining a NOx conversion efficiency estimate of the SCR catalyst by a ratio of the difference between the amplitudes of the first and second variation rates to the amplitude of the first variation rate.
  • the method includes determining a NOx amount downstream of the SCR catalyst from the product of a NOx amount measured by the first output of the first NOx sensor and one minus the NOx conversion efficiency estimate of the SCR catalyst.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un catalyseur à réduction catalytique sélective (SCR) disposé dans un flux de gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne. Un introducteur de réducteur est connecté de manière opérationnelle au flux de gaz d'échappement à une position en amont du catalyseur à SCR, et un capteur de NOx est connecté au flux de gaz d'échappement à une position en aval du catalyseur à SCR. L'invention réalise un système et un procédé pour faire fonctionner le système en vue de déterminer une condition de glissement vers NH3 et/ou de manière à découpler le NOx-NH3 de la sortie du capteur de NOx dans des conditions de glissement vers NH3 afin de permettre une régulation de la quantité de réducteur introduite.
