RECIEN NACIDOS
CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓN
Las modalidades ilustradas de la presente invención se relacionan en general a pañales para bebés recién nacidos.
Más concretamente la invención propone un pañal de diseño ergonómico que tiene una matriz absorbente con un ancho de entrepierna de 5 cm o menor.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN
Actualmente son utilizadas múltiples variantes de pañales de diversos tamaños y formas, generalmente para niños; sin embargo, también existen en el mercado pañales para adultos e inclusive para mascotas. En todo caso el mercado actual se ha preocupado más por la producción de pañales para niños mayores sin considerar la evolución de las caderas de los bebés recién nacidos durante sus primeros meses. Ocurre muy a menudo que los pañales que actualmente están disponibles en el mercado para bebés recién nacidos, presentan un ancho de entrepierna entre 6 y 8.5 cm, lo que causa que los bebés queden con las piernas abiertas. Asimismo, al utilizar un pañal cuya matriz absorbente no se adapte a las dimensiones de un bebe recién nacido, existe la posibilidad de escurrimientos a través de los espacios libres generados entre las piernas y el pañal.
Existen actualmente varias propuestas de pañales para recién nacidos. Por ejemplo, la patente estadounidense US 5,295,986 A que describe un pañal para bebés recién nacidos que es ajustable, de modo que se puede hacer más largo a través de un panel absorbente plegable por la parte frontal del pañal, además de que puede ajustarse en la parte de cintura por medio de los miembros de sujeción, que pueden sobreponerse uno sobre el otro al momento de colocar el pañal en el bebé, haciendo la cintura más angosta, o pueden unirse a la parte frontal del pañal, haciendo la cintura más ancha. Como podemos apreciar la patente US 5,295,986 A, está encaminada a que un producto con ciertas dimensiones, se pueda ajustar al crecimiento del bebé, a diferencia de la presente invención que presenta una matriz adecuada a las dimensiones de un bebé recién nacido que brinda comodidad en la entrepierna, evitando lesiones por rozamiento.
La solicitud de patente internacional WO2003009792 A1 , describe un pañal desechable para bebés recién nacidos encaminado a proteger el área umbilical del bebé, tal que tiene, en la parte frontal, donde quedará colocada el área umbilical, un receso que permite que esta zona no tenga presiones. Como podemos apreciar, la solicitud de patente internacional WO2003009792 A1 , si bien se refiere a un pañal desechable para bebés recién nacidos, no esta dirigida a brindar comodidad y mejor ajuste en la zona de entrepierna tal como el presente invento.
Ninguno de los documentos citados previamente, describe un pañal para bebés recién nacidos con una matriz absorbente de dimensiones específicas que permita mantener las piernas de un bebé recién nacido a un ángulo menor a 30° con respecto a la vertical, evitando lesiones en cadera y piernas por un exceso de la abertura de las piernas del bebé. Existe, pues la necesidad de un pañal para recién nacido que supere todos los inconvenientes de los pañales desarrollados en el pasado.
OBJETIVOS
El principal objetivo de la presente invención es: proporcionar un pañal para bebés recién nacidos que comprende una matriz absorbente de diseño ergonómico con un ancho de entrepierna de 5 cm o menor.
Otro objetivo de la presente invención es proporcionar un pañal para bebés recién nacidos que comprenda una matriz absorbente con un ancho de entrepierna tal que mantenga las piernas del bebé con un ángulo α con la horizontal, menor a 30°. Otro objetivo de la presente invención es proporcionar un pañal para bebés recién nacidos cuya matriz absorbente tenga un índice de comodidad para el usuario (ICU) mayor o igual a 0.5.
BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN DE LOS DIBUJOS O FIGURAS
Los aspectos anteriores y muchas de las ventajas concomitantes a esta invención se comprenderán mejor cuando se consulte la siguiente descripción detallada y se considere conjuntamente con los dibujos acompañantes, en los cuales:
La Figura 1 es una vista en planta de un pañal para bebés talla cero y uno, comúnmente encontrados en el mercado, en donde se puede apreciar la configuración de la matriz absorbente.
La Figura 2 es una vista en planta de la matriz absorbente de la presente invención, en donde se puede apreciar la configuración de la misma.
La Figura 3 es una vista frontal del ángulo formado entre las piernas de un bebé y la vertical.
DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LA INVENCIÓN
La figura 1 muestra, una vista en planta de un pañal desechable. Como se puede apreciar, los pañales desechables, están constituidos básicamente por: una capa superior permeable (2), una capa inferior impermeable (4) y una matriz absorbente (5) conteniendo fibras de material absorbente y partículas de material superabsorbente, colocada entre las capas superior e inferior, barreras externas anti escurrimientos (6), un sistema de sujeción (3), medios de elastificación (1) en la zona de la cintura y piernas y medios de unión; el articulo puede contener además una o varias zonas elásticas.
La matriz absorbente (5) empleada en los pañales desechables, puede tener una forma sustancialmente rectangular, puede tener forma de Ύ, de "T" o cualquier otra forma adecuada para este fin.
La figura 2 muestra, una vista en planta de la configuración preferida de la matriz absorbente (7) de la presente invención, la cual tiene una parte frontal (8), una parte trasera (9) y una parte de entrepierna (10) que quedará colocada entre las piernas del bebé durante el uso del artículo. Esta parte de entrepierna de la matriz, tiene un ancho máximo de 5 cm para los fines del presente invento.
Para disminuir el ancho de entrepierna hasta dicha dimensión, es necesario un rediseño total de la matriz, puesto que en esta zona es donde generalmente se depositan los fluidos corporales durante el uso del producto, así, la matriz deberá tener el balance adecuado de material absorbente/material superabsorbente para lograr la absorción y retención requeridas, además de los pesos base y densidades adecuados, tal que, estos parámetros en combinación con un ancho de entrepierna máximo de 5 cm, den como resultado una matriz absorbente que sea capaz de recibir, distribuir y almacenar el fluido de manera adecuada, con la ventaja adicional de que no forzará al bebé a abrir las piernas, de modo que adoptará una posición natural y se sentirá cómodo. Considerando lo anterior, la matriz absorbente del invento tiene un peso base en la zona de entrepierna de entre 700 y 900 g/m2, una densidad que varía en el rango de entre 0.16 y 0.24 g/cm3 y una relación de material absorbente/material superabsorbente de entre 50/50 y 70/30; así, la zona de entre pierna de la matriz absorbente del invento tiene un índice de comodidad para el usuario (ICU) mayor o igual a 0.5. El ICU es una medida que relaciona la densidad y el peso base de una matriz absorbente, con el ancho de entrepierna y se calcula de acuerdo a la siguiente fórmula:
ICU = (densidad/peso base)/ancho de entrepierna
A mayor ancho de entrepierna, el Indice de Comodidad para el Usuario disminuye.
Por otro lado, es conveniente el uso, sobre la matriz absorbente, de una capa de recepción distribución que ayude a la distribución de los fluidos y a mantener seca la superficie del pañal; puede utilizarse como capa de recepción distribución una tela no tejida fabricada a partir de fibras de polipropileno, poliéster, rayón, algodón, PLA, PHA, fibras bicomponentes, mezclas de las anteriores o cualquier otro tipo de fibra adecuada para este fin.
Los bebés con un peso entre 2.5 y 5 Kg, que utilizan tallas cero y 1 de pañales desechables, tienen un ancho promedio en su entrepierna (perineo) de 2.8 cm; este ancho se indica con la letra "y" en la figura 3. Los pañales desechables tallas cero y uno disponibles en el mercado, comprenden un ancho promedio de entrepierna de entre 6 y 8.5 cm, de tal forma que al colocar el pañal en el bebé, las piernas de éste quedan abiertas, definiendo un ángulo "a" con la vertical. Mientras mayor sea el ancho de la entrepierna del pañal, mayor será el ángulo α y el bebé se verá forzado a abrir más las piernas, adoptando una posición no natural.
En la tabla 1 se muestra el resultado de una serie de pruebas en las cuales se midió el ancho de entrepierna de pañales talla cero y uno que actualmente se encuentran en el mercado, y se determinó el ángulo α de abertura de las piernas del bebé durante el uso de estos pañales.

Con respecto a la presente invención, la matriz absorbente propuesta, presenta un ancho de entre pierna de 5 cm o menor, de tal forma que al colocar este pañal en el bebé, las piernitas de éste solo se abren un ángulo "a" de 23.41 °. De esta forma, el propósito de la presente invención es que el ángulo "a" sea máximo de 30°, brindando al bebé una posición lo más natural posible. Esto se logra con un diseño de matriz absorbente que tenga un ancho máximo en la entrepierna de 5 cm.
Una modalidad de la invención, se basa en el hecho de que la matriz absorbente de pañal para recién nacidos presenta cualquier forma que tenga un ancho máximo en la entrepierna de 5 cm. La matriz absorbente del invento puede ser utilizada con cualquier configuración de pañal desechable.
Si bien la invención ha sido descrita en función de sus modalidades preferidas, los alcances de la misma comprenden cualquier tipo de cambio o modificación a la misma que pueda ser evidente para un técnico en la materia.

Claims

REIVINDICACIONES
1 . - Una matriz absorbente para ser utilizada en un pañal para bebés recién nacidos que tiene una parte frontal, una parte trasera y una parte de entrepierna, caracterizado porque en la zona de entrepierna comprende: un ancho máximo de 5 cm para permitir que las piernas del bebé formen una ángulo "a" máximo de 30° con respecto a la vertical; un peso base de entre 700 y 900 g/m2; una densidad que varía en el rango de entre 0.16 y 0.24 g/cm3; y una relación de material absorbente/material superabsorbente de 50/50 y 70/30.
2. - Una matriz absorbente de pañal para bebés recién nacidos de conformidad a la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque, el ángulo "a" es preferentemente de 23.41 °.
3. - Una matriz absorbente de pañal para bebés recién nacidos de conformidad a la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque, la matriz absorbente tiene un índice de comodidad para el usuario (ICU) mayor o igual a 0.5.
4. - Una matriz absorbente de pañal para bebés recién nacidos de conformidad a la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque, la matriz absorbente tiene, por la parte superior, una capa de recepción distribución.
5. - Una matriz absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque es de forma rectangular.
6. - Una matriz absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque tiene forma de T.
7. - Una matriz absorbente de conformidad con la reivindicación 1 , caracterizada porque tiene forma de "T".
