L'invention concerne une pince de cuisine (10) s'utilisant d'une seule main, qui comprend : une première branche (12) qui comporte, à une extrémité, une première zone de préhension 20 et, à une autre extrémité, une première zone de fermeture 16; une seconde branche 14 qui comporte, à une extrémité, une seconde zone de préhension 22 et, à une autre extrémité, une seconde zone de fermeture 18; et un mécanisme à ressort, lequel mécanisme exerce une force de ressort qui écarte les zones de préhension 20, 22 l'une de l'autre; ainsi qu'un axe de rotation 28 pour les branches 12, 14, qui est situé entre les zones de préhension 20, 22 et les zones de fermeture 16, 18. La première branche 12 comprend un rabat de fermeture 24 fixé librement pivotant, qui comprend à son extrémité non fixée une première surface de serrage 40 et une première surface de butée 42 tandis que la seconde branche 14 comprend une seconde surface de serrage 44 et une seconde surface de butée 36 pour le rabat de fermeture 24, le rabat de fermeture 24 étant fixé depuis l'axe de rotation 28 dans la partie côté zone de fermeture de la première branche 12.
