Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Lichtvorhang zur Überwachung einer Fläche oder eines Raumes, umfassend zumindest eine Lichtquelle (1), die einen Lichtstrahl (3.1) mit punktförmigen Querschnitt aussendet, dessen Richtung über ein Stellglied (1.2) entlang einer Achse zur Bildung einer Überwachungsebene abgelenkt wird, oder einen Lichtstrahl (3.2) mit linienförmigen Querschnitt aussendet, der die Überwachungsebene bildet, zumindest eine optische Detektorfläche (2), entlang deren Längserstreckung zumindest zwei Abgreifpunkte (2.1) angebracht sind, wobei ein Objekt im Raum erkannt wird, indem es mindestens einen Lichtstrahl (3.1, 3.2) auf dem Weg von der Lichtquelle (1) zur optischen Detektorfläche (2) unterbricht und die Lichtquelle (1) zumindest ein Stellglied (1.3) aufweist, über das die Lage und die Ausrichtung der Überwachungsebene im Raum veränderbar sind.
