DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
In order to further illustrate technical means disclosed in the present disclosure and the technical benefits thereof, specific implementations, structures and characteristics of the invention and the benefits thereof will be illustrated in detail below in conjunction with the drawings and embodiments.
The first embodiment of the invention provides an access control system as shown in Fig. 1, and the access control system includes an authorization server 100 and an access control device 200.
terminal device 300 acquires a room list via a client to allow a user to select a room to be reserved from the room list and determine a reservation time period for the selected room, and requests authorization for the reservation of the room from the authorization server 100; upon receiving authorization information from the authorization server 100, the terminal device 300 sends identification information to the access control device 200 via near-field communication (NFC) when the current user of the terminal device 300 wishes to pass through the access control of the room (i.e. to enter the reserved room) , so that the access control device 200 permits the current user to pass through the access control. NFC is a non-contact radio frequency identification and interconnection technology, which operates in a short range to automatically identify a target object via a radio frequency signal and acquire the related data. Thus, short-range wireless communication may be performed among a mobile terminal, a personal computer and an intelligent electronic device (for example, access control controller and intelligent door lock) without cable connections. Herein, access control refers to access authorization of a door, including access authorization of a passageway in any place, for example, a meeting room, a hotel room and a parking lot.
The authorization server 100 is configured to return a room list as per a request from the client, receive an authorization request from the client, determine a room and a reservation time period selected by the user (according to the authorization request) ,  and authorize the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period if the room is available to a user account associated with the client in the reservation time period.
The access control device 200 is configured to receive authorization identification information from the client via NFC, send an authorization query request to the authorization server 100 to determine whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to reserve the room for the selected reservation time period, receive from the authorization server 100 information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to reserve the room for the reservation time period, and permit the current user of the client to pass through the access control of the room if the client has been authorized.
In an example, a client acquires a meeting room list of a meeting system from an authorization server 100, visually displays the meeting room list, determines a meeting room selected by a user from the meeting room list and a reservation time period of the meeting room selected by the user according to a user input, and sends an authorization request to the authorization server 100; the authorization server 100 receives the authorization request from the client, determine the room and the reservation time period selected by the user, and authorize the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period if the room is available to a user account associated with the client in the reservation time period; when the current user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, the client sends identification information to the access control device 200 via NFC; then the access control device 200 receives the authorization identification information from the client via NFC, sends an authorization query request to the authorization server 100, determines whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been corresponding authorized to reserve the room for the reservation time period, receives from the authorization server 100 information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to reserve the room for the reservation time period, and permits the current user of the client to pass through the access control if the client has been authorized.
The terminal device 300 in this embodiment may be any mobile terminal with a touch screen, for example, an intelligent mobile phone, a hand-held computer and a tablet computer. Fig. 2 shows a structural block diagram of a terminal device. The terminal device 300 includes a memory 302, a memory controller 304, one or more processors 306 (only one processor 306 is shown for example) , a peripheral interface 308, a radio frequency module 310, a touch screen 312, a key module 314 and a near-field communication module 316, which are in communication via one or more buses or signal lines 322.
It may be understood that, the structure shown in Fig. 2 is only illustrative, and the terminal device 300 may include more or less components than those shown in Fig. 2, or has a configuration different from that shown in Fig. 2. Each component shown in Fig. 2 may be realized by hardware, software or a combination thereof.
The memory 302 may be used for storing software programs and modules, for example, program instructions and/or modules corresponding to the authorization method and device for an access control system and the access control system in a terminal device according to the embodiments of the invention. The processor 302 implements various functional applications and data processing by executing the software programs and modules stored in the memory 304.
The memory 302 may be a high-speed random access memory or a non-volatile memory, for example, one or more magnetic storage devices, FLASH memories or other non-volatile solid state memories. In some examples, the memory 302 may further include a memory that is set remotely from the processor 306 and may be connected to the terminal device 300 via a network. Examples of the network include, but are not limited to, the Internet, an intranet, a local area network, a mobile communication network and a combination thereof. The access to the memory 302 by the processor 306 and other possible components may be performed under the control of the memory controller 304.
The peripheral interface 308 is configured to couple various input/input devices to a CPU and the memory 302. The processor 306 executes various software and instructions stored in the memory 302 to implement various functions of the terminal  device 300 and perform data processing.
In some embodiments, the peripheral interface 308, the processor 306 and the memory controller 304 may be realized in a single chip, or be realized by the respective individual chips in some other examples.
The radio frequency module 310 is used for receiving and sending an electromagnetic wave and for the interconversion between an electromagnetic wave and an electrical signal, so as to communicate with a communication network or other apparatuses. The radio frequency module 310 includes various existing circuit elements for performing such functions, for example, an antenna, a radio frequency transceiver, a digital signal processor, an encryption/decryption chip, a subscriber identity module (SIM) card and a memory. The radio frequency module 310 may communicate with various networks, for example, the Internet, an intranet and a wireless network, or communicate with other apparatuses via a wireless network. The wireless networks include a cellular telephone network, a wireless local area network or a metropolitan area network. The wireless network may be based on various communication standards, protocols and technologies, including but not limited to Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) , Enhanced Data GSM Environment (EDGE) , Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA) , Code Division Access (CDMA) , Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) , Bluetooth, Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) (for example, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE802.11g and/or IEEE 802.11n) , Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) , Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (Wi-Max) and other protocols for email, instant messaging and short message service, and any other suitable communication protocols, or even protocols that have not been developed at present.
The touch screen 312 provides an output and input interface between the terminal device 300 and a user. Specifically, the touch screen 312 provides the user with visual outputs, including characters, graphics, videos and any combination thereof. Some of the outputs correspond to some user interface objects. The touch screen 312 also receives user inputs, for example, gesture operations of the user such as clicking and sliding operations, so that the user interface objects may respond to these user inputs. The user inputs may be detected through a resistive touch-detection technology,  a capacitive touch-detection technology or any other possible touch detection technology. Specific examples of the display unit of the touch screen 312 include, but are not limited to a liquid crystal display and a light-emitting polymer display.
Similarly, the key module 314 provides the user with an input interface to the terminal device 300. The user may instruct the terminal device 300 perform different functions by pressing different keys.
The near-field communication module 316 is used for providing an interface for realizing near-field communication, and the user is allowed to communicate with other user apparatuses through near-field communication via the near-field communication module 316 for the purpose of data exchange.
In the access control system according to this embodiment, the identification information is sent by a client via NFC, so that the security of information transmission may be improved; further, the authorization corresponding to the identification information is determined by the authorization server according to the identification information, and merely a user passing authorization authentication can pass through the access control, thereby enhancing the management on room access control, and improving information security in the room.
The second embodiment of the invention provides an authorization method for an access control system. As shown in Fig. 3, the method includes Steps 301 to 305 below.
Step 301: acquiring a room list.
Referring to Fig. 2, a client used for room reservation is downloaded and installed on a mobile terminal, and then the client is run to acquire information related to rooms, for example, the current use state (i.e. an idle state or an occupied state) of a room, the accommodation capability of each room, the time for the occupied room to be idle again, and the equipments available in the room. The information related to the room may be recorded in the form of a room list; that is, the room list acquired by the client may be a meeting room list used for room reservation or a hotel room list used for room reservation, or other room lists that are used for room reservation operations.
Step 302: visually displaying the room list.
The client converts the acquired room list into a graphics or an image via an image processing technology and visually displays the graphics or image on the screen of the mobile terminal, so that the user can perform data interaction with the authorization server 100 through the client via the contents displayed visually.
Step 303: determining a room and a reservation time period selected by a user according to user inputs.
The client detects the input from the user and determines the room to be reserved and the reservation time period selected by the user from the room list, where the reservation time period is defined by the start time and the end time of using the selected room.
Step 304: sending an authorization request to an authorization server, and notifying the authorization server about the selected room and the reservation time period.
The client sends to the authorization server 100 an authorization request, which is used for requesting the authorization server 100 to authorize the user to reserve the room selected by the user, and sends the identification information of the selected room (for example, a room number) and the reservation time period of the selected room to the authorization server 100. The identification information of the selected room and the reservation time period may be sent together with or separately from the authorization request.
Step 305: sending the identification information to an access control device via near-field communication when the current user of the client wishes to pass through the access control (i.e. to enter the reserved room) , if the authorization information is received from the authorization server, so that the access control device permits the current user to pass through the access control.
If the client receives the authorization information from the authorization server 100, it is indicated that the authorization server 100 authorizes the user of the client to use the selected room at the selected reservation time period, where the authorization information may include a verification code or a password of the access control, or may include prompting information about the reserved room such as room number and  reservation time period. When the user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, the client sends the identification information corresponding to the authorization to the access control device 200 via NFC so that the access control device 200 determines that the client is an authorized object according to the identification information, then the current user is allowed to pass through. Based on pairing of the client and the access control device 200 via NFC, data exchange between the client and the access control device 200 can be realized within a distance of several centimeters, thus the data interaction between the client and the access control device 200 via NFC is secure.
In one example, a client acquires a meeting room list in a meeting system from an authorization server 100 and visually displays the meeting room list, where the meeting room list includes the current use state of each meeting room (including an idle state and an occupied state) , the accommodation capability of each meeting room, the scheduled end time of a meeting at each meeting room and meeting equipments available in the meeting room. The client determines the meeting room and the reservation time period of the meeting room selected from the meeting room list by a user according to user inputs, and sends an authorization request to the authorization server 100, where the client further notifies the authorization server 100 about the selected room and the reservation time period; if the client receives the authorization information from the authorization server 100, the client sends identification information to the access control device 200 via NFC when the user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, so that the access control device 200 permits the current user to pass through the access control according to the authorization of the user (corresponding to the authorization information) , where the identification information may be an identification code.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, a client requests an authorization from an authorization server and sends identification information for authenticating the authorization to an access control device via NFC, thus the security of information transmission may be improved; further, the access control device communicates with the authorization server to determines the  authorization corresponding to the identification information according to the identification information, so that a user can pass through the access control only if the user passes authorization authentication, thereby enhancing the management on room access control, and improving information security in the room.
Referring to Fig. 4, the third embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which is similar to the method of Fig. 3, except that the method of this embodiment further includes:
Step 406: sending the identification information to the authorization server.
As described above, when the user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, the client further sends the identification information for authentication to the authorization server 100, so that the authorization server 100 can determine whether the client has been correspondingly authorized, and if so, the authorization server 100 instructs the access control device 200 to permit the user to pass through.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, the authorization server is further used for judging whether the client has been correspondingly authorized, thereby enhancing the management on room access control, and improving information security in the room.
Referring to Fig. 5, the fourth embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which is similar to the methods of Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, except that Step 305 is replaced by Step 505 below:
Step 505: if the client receives authorization information from the authorization server, sending the authorization information to the access control device via NFC when the current user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, so that the access control device permits the current user to pass through.
That is, when the user of the client wishes to pass through the access control, the client sends the authorization information from the authorization server 100 to the access control device 200 via NFC for authentication, so that the access control device permits the current user to pass through. The authorization information may be an authorization code.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this  embodiment, the client sends the authorization information provided by the authorization server to the access control device via NFC for authentication, so that the flexibility of the authentication is improved, thereby enhancing the management on room access control, and improving information security in the room. Moreover, the security of the authorization information transmission may be improved via the NFC technology.
Referring to Fig. 6, the fifth embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which includes Steps 601 to 603 below.
Step 601: returning a room list as per a request from a client.
The authorization server 100 returns a room list to the client according to a request from the client, where the room list includes information such as the current use state of each room (including an idle state and an occupied state) , the accommodation capability of each room, and the time for the occupied room to be idle again. The room list may be a meeting room list used for room reservation or a hotel room list used for room reservation, or other room lists that are used for room reservation operations.
Step 602: receiving an authorization request from the client, and determining a room and a reservation time period selected by a user.
The authorization server 100 receives the authorization request sent by the client, where the authorization request is used for requesting the authorization server 100 to permit the client (or the user of the client) to pass through the access control; further, the authorization server 100 determines the room and the reservation time period selected, i.e., the start and end time of the reservation of the selected room, that are selected by the user.
Step 603: authorizing the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period if the selected room is available to a user account related to the client in the reservation time period.
The authorization server 100, if detecting that the room selected by the user is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, authorizes the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period.
In one embodiment, the authorization server 100 returns a meeting room list  listing meeting rooms available for reservation according to a request of the client, where the meeting room list includes information such as the current use state of each meeting room (including an idle state and an occupied state) , the accommodation capability of each room, the scheduled end time of a meeting at each meeting room and meeting equipments available in the meeting room. The client determines reservation-related information including a meeting room to be reserved and the reservation time period that are selected by the user and sends the same to the authorization server 100, where the reservation-related information may be carried in the authorization request, or may be sent separately from the authorization request. The authorization server 100 receives the authorization request from the client, acquires the information of meeting room reservation and checks the use state of the meeting room to be reserved that is selected currently; if the selected meeting room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the authorization server 100 authorizes the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, after receiving an authorization request from the client, the authorization server checks the use state of the selected room to be reserved; if the room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the authorization server authorizes the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period, thereby enhancing the management on room access control of the room, and improving information security in the room.
Referring to Fig. 7, the sixth embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which is similar to the method of Fig. 6, except that Step 603 further includes:
Step 703: recording the authorization for the reservation of the room for the reservation time period for the user in a file or a database if the room to be reserved is available to a user account related to the client in the reservation time period, to authorize the user to reserve the room for the reservation time period.
If the selected room is available to a user account related to the client in the  selected reservation time period, the authorization server 100 records the authorization for the reservation of the room for the time period for the user in a file or a database so as to authorize the user to reserve the room for the time period.
The above method further includes Steps 704 to 705 below.
Step 704: receiving an authorization query request from an access control device, and determining whether a client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to reserve the room for the reservation time period.
When a user wishes to pass through an access control, the user sends the identification information for authentication to the access control device 200 via the client; then the access control device 200 queries the authorization of the client with the authorization server 100; and the authorization server 100 receives an authorization query request from the access control device 200 and determines whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized.
Step 705: returning to the access control device the information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to reserve the room for the reservation time period.
The authorization server 100 returns to the access control device 200 the found information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized. If the client has been correspondingly authorized to pass through the meeting room, the access control device 200 permits the user to pass through; otherwise, the access control device 200 does not permit the user to pass through.
In one embodiment, the authorization server 100 returns to a client a meeting room list listing meeting rooms available for reservation as per a request of the client, where the room list includes information such as the current use state of each meeting room (including an idle state and an occupied state) , the accommodation capability of each room, the end time of a scheduled meeting at each meeting room and meeting equipments available in the meeting room. The client determines a meeting room to be reserved and a reservation time period selected by the user and sends the same to the  authorization server 100, where the information related to the meeting room selected by the user may be carried in the authorization request, or may be sent separately from the authorization request. After receiving the authorization request sent by the client, the authorization server 100 determines the meeting room to be reserved and the reservation time period selected by the user, and checks the current use state of the selected room; if the meeting room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the authorization server 100 authorizes the reservation of the room in the reservation time period for the user and records the authorization for the reservation of the room for the reservation time period for the user in a file or a database. When the user wants to pass through a meeting room access control, the user sends the identification information for authentication to the access control device 200 via the client, and then the access control device 200 queries the authorization of the client with the authorization server 100; the authorization server 100 receives the authorization query request sent by the access control device 200 and determines whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized, after that, the authorization server 100 returns the information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized to the access control device 200; if the client has been correspondingly authorized, the access control device 200 permits the user to pass through; otherwise, the access control device 200 does not permit the user to pass through. If the client has been correspondingly authorized, the information indicating whether the client corresponding to the authorization query request has been correspondingly authorized may be an instruction causing the access control device 200 to unlock the room for the user so that the user can enter the room.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, after receiving the authorization request from the client, the authorization server checks the use state of the room to be reserved, and if the room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the reservation of the room in the selected reservation time period for the user is authorized and recorded in a file or a database; further, the authorization server determines whether the  client has been correspondingly authorized to pass through the access control as per a request from the access control device, so as to authenticate the user that requests to pass through the access control, thereby enhancing the management on room access control, and improving information security in the room.
Referring to Fig. 8, the seventh embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which is similar to the method of Fig. 6, except that the Step 603 further includes:
Step 803: sending the identification information of the client and the authorized reservation time period to the access control device, if the room is available to a user account related to the client in the reservation time period, so that the access control device permits the client to pass through the access control in the authorized reservation time period.
If the room is available to the user account related to the client in the reservation time period, the authorization server 100 sends the identification information of the client and the authorized reservation time period to the access control device 200 so that the access control device 200 permits the client to pass through the access control in the authorized reservation time period, thereby implementing the authorization of the client. The identification information may be an identification code.
In one example, when the client requests the authorization server 100 to authorize the meeting room and the reservation time period selected by the user, if the selected meeting room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the authorization server 100 sends the identification information of the client and the authorized reservation time period to the access control device 200, so that the access control device 200 may permit the client to pass through the access control in the authorized reservation time period, thereby implementing the authorization of the client.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, after authorizing the client, the authorization server sends the identification information of the client and the authorized reservation time period to the access control device so that the access control device permits the client to pass  through the access control in the authorized reservation time period, thereby implementing the management of the authorization of entering the room in the reservation time period, so that the authorization management is more purposive, and the information security in the room during the reservation time period is improved.
Referring to Fig. 9, the eighth embodiment provides an authorization method for an access control system, which is similar to the method of Fig. 6, except that the Step 603 further includes:

If the room is available to a user account related to the client in the selected reservation time period, the authorization server 100 generates an authorization code and sends the authorization code and the authorized reservation time period to both the client and the access control device 200; when the client sends the authorization code to the access control device 200 via NFC, the access control device 200 determines the authorization of the client and the authorized reservation time period of the authorization according to the authorization code.
In the authorization method for an access control system according to this embodiment, the authorization server authorizes the client 300 by generating an authorization code and sending the generated authorization code and the authorized reservation time period to both the client 300 and the access control device; subsequently, the client 300 may send the authorization code to the access control device, and the access control device accomplishes authorization authentication locally, without querying with the authorization server, thereby simplifying the authentication process and improving the authentication speed.
