Abstract
Description
以下、図面を参照して、一実施形態に係る口腔用たばこ組成物1について説明する。実施形態に係る口腔用たばこ組成物1は、たばこ成分を溶出するたばこ原料とガムベースとを含む咀嚼可能な口腔用たばこ組成物(所謂、たばこガム)である。なお、実施形態において、たばこ成分は、ニコチンを想定している。
次に、実施形態に係る第1ガム部10の構成について具体的に説明する。実施形態に係る第1ガム部10は、第1ガムベースと、たばこ原料と、他の添加原料とを含む。
次に、第2ガム部20の構成について説明する。実施形態に係る第2ガム部20は、第2ガムベースを含む。また、第2ガム部20は、他の添加原料を含むことが好ましい。
実施形態に係る口腔用たばこ組成物1の製造方法には、様々な方法が適用できる。例えば、第1ガム部10と第2ガム部20とのそれぞれを製造した後に、第1ガム部10と第2ガム部20とを結合して、口腔用たばこ組成物1を製造できる。
実施形態に係る口腔用たばこ組成物1は、たばこ原料と第1ガムベースとを含む第1ガム部10と、第2ガムベースを含む第2ガム部20とを有する。また、口腔用たばこ組成物1では、口腔用たばこ組成物1の重量%が100重量%である場合に、第1ガムベース及び第2ガムベースの合計重量%は、50重量%以下である。
実施形態の効果を明確にするため、下記の評価試験を実施した。試験方法及び結果について、以下に示す。
サンプル11~12を準備して、口腔用たばこ組成物のテクスチャについての評価試験を行った。
・ 第2ガム部に対する第2ガムベース(GB)重量%: 25重量%
上述のサンプル11及び12を、成人5人に咀嚼させて、テクスチャについての官能評価を行った。具体的に、サンプル11及び12を、咀嚼開始から初期期間が経過する5分後まで、60回/分のペースで咀嚼させて、それぞれのテクスチャについて官能評価を行った。
試験結果を図2(a)~(b)に示す。なお、図2(a)は、サンプル11のテクスチャ評価結果を示し、 図2(b)は、サンプル12のテクスチャ評価結果を示す。
サンプル21~23と、サンプル31~33と、サンプル41~46と、サンプル51~54とを準備して、口腔用たばこ組成物の初期期間における初期溶出比率の評価試験を行った。
・ 第2ガム部に対する第2ガムベース(GB)重量%: 25%
・ 第1ガム部におけるたばこ原料量: 0.02g
・ 口腔用たばこ組成物に含まれるニコチン含有量:1mg
上述のサンプル21~54のそれぞれを、成人に咀嚼させて、咀嚼開始から2分後のニコチン溶出量Aと、咀嚼開始から5分後のニコチン溶出量Bとを測定した。その結果に基づいて、初期溶出比率A/Bを算出した。このとき、サンプル21~54のそれぞれを、60回/分のペースで咀嚼させた。
試験結果を表4と図3に示す。なお、図3は、表4のサンプル21~54の第1ガムベース重量と、表4のサンプル21~54の初期溶出比率A/Bとの関係性を示す散布図(グラフ)である。
以上、上述の実施形態を用いて本発明について詳細に説明したが、当業者にとっては、本発明が本明細書中に説明した実施形態に限定されるものではないということは明らかである。
Claims (4)
- たばこ成分を溶出するたばこ原料とガムベースとを含む咀嚼可能な口腔用たばこ組成物であって、
前記たばこ原料と、第1ガムベースとを含む第1ガム部と、
第2ガムベースを含む第2ガム部とを有し、
前記第2ガム部は、前記たばこ原料を含んでいない、或いは、前記第1ガム部に含まれる前記たばこ原料の量よりも少ない量のたばこ原料を含み、
前記第1ガムベースの重量は、0.3g以上であり、
前記第1ガム部の重量%が100重量%である場合に、前記第1ガムベースの重量%は、50重量%以上であり、
前記口腔用たばこ組成物の重量%が100重量%である場合に、前記第1ガムベース及び前記第2ガムベースの合計重量%は、50重量%以下である
ことを特徴とする口腔用たばこ組成物。 - 前記第2ガム部は、香料を含み、
前記第2ガム部の重量%が100重量%である場合に、前記第2ガムベースの重量%は、30重量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の口腔用たばこ組成物。 - 前記口腔用たばこ組成物の重量%が100重量%である場合に、前記第1ガムベース及び前記第2ガムベースの合計重量%は、25重量%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の口腔用たばこ組成物。
- 前記口腔用たばこ組成物の重量は、0.6~2.0gの範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の口腔用たばこ組成物。
