L'implant comprend une base ayant une première surface de contact afin d'entrer en contact avec une première région de tissus ; la base comprend une première partie qui peut être déplacée par rapport à une seconde partie et présente une longueur initiale ; la base peut être réglée vers une seconde longueur lorsque la première partie est déplacée par rapport à la seconde partie. L'implant comprend en outre un élément déplaçable, qui présente une seconde surface de contact afin d'entrer en contact avec une seconde région de tissus. Un agencement de liaison mécanique fait la liaison entre l'élément déplaçable et chacune des première et seconde parties de la base, de sorte que le déplacement relatif des première et seconde parties entraîne un déplacement et/ou une rotation de la seconde surface de contact par rapport à la première surface de contact. La première partie et la seconde partie sont dotées de caractéristiques complémentaires qui définissent une conception en cliquet, comprenant une série de dents de cliquet et un encliquetage sollicité au plan élastique, la conception en cliquet étant déployée pour permettre de raccourcir la base à partir de la longueur initiale et à travers une série de longueurs, ainsi que de s'opposer à l'allongement de la base. Le cliquet est de préférence libérable par un mouvement sélectif d'une tige de déploiement insérée à travers une ouverture située dans une extrémité proximale de l'implant, ce qui facilite le redéploiement ou le retrait de l'implant.
