Abstract

L'invention concerne un séchoir (100) qui comprend des tambours internes (18) et des tambours cylindriques externes (26) placés de manière concentrique les uns par rapport aux autres, les tambours internes et externes (18, 26) étant perforés et définissant un espace entre eux. Un mécanisme d'entrée (42, 35) est situé à une extrémité supérieure des tambours cylindriques (18, 26) pour introduire le matériau humidifié dans l'espace défini entre les tambours cylindriques internes et externes (18, 26). Un moyen de communication de mouvement (38) est accouplé au tambour cylindrique interne (26) pour entraîner ce dernier en rotation par rapport au tambour cylindrique externe (18). Un moyen d'introduction d'air (20, 23) est situé autour de la partie inférieure du tambour cylindrique interne (26) pour introduire de l'air dans ce dernier. Enfin, un mécanisme de sortie (27) est situé autour d'une extrémité inférieure des tambours cylindriques (26, 18) pour retirer un matériau séché.
