Abstract
The present invention relates to a rolling bearing (10) which comprises a bearing seat (11) and a bearing surface ring (12) having a bearing surface (13) for a rolling element (14). In order to save installation space and to optimize the service life of the bearing, the bearing further comprises a retaining ring (15) for fixing the bearing surface ring to the bearing seat, the bearing seat and the retaining ring consisting of weldable materials, and the bearing seat and the retaining ring being connectible or being connected by a welded joint (16). The invention further relates to a method for producing said rolling bearing.
