Abstract

La présente invention concerne un circuit de protection contre les surtensions pour un circuit PFC. Une ligne L et une ligne N d'une alimentation électrique en courant alternatif sont connectées à l'électrode positive d'un condensateur PFC (C1) au moyen d'un module de diode haute tension. Un appareil (RT1) de limitation de courant est connecté entre le module de diode haute tension et l'électrode positive du condensateur PFC (C1). Le circuit de protection contre les surtensions peut fournir une protection contre les surtensions à un circuit PFC et à un circuit post-étage associé, en particulier un circuit PFC ayant une alimentation électrique en courant alternatif moyenne/petite. Avec un appareil de limitation de courant, l'impact de l'énergie instantanée est limité, de sorte que le condensateur PFC (C1) ne s'endommage pas facilement et l'énergie de tension résiduelle peut être efficacement absorbée, ce qui assure une fonction de calage.
