Abstract

Dans un procédé de séparation à température subambiante, un mélange de fluide (A, B) à température subambiante, est envoyé à un système de colonnes de séparation comprenant au moins une colonne de séparation (3, 5), un fluide enrichi en un composant plus léger du mélange sort de la tête d'une colonne du système et un fluide enrichi en un composant plus lourd est soutiré de la cuve d'une colonne du système, la source froide d'une pompe à chaleur (MC, MC1, MC2, MC3) utilisant l'effet magnétocalorique est reliée thermiquement à une première zone (1) d'une colonne du système et la source chaude de la même pompe à chaleur est reliée thermiquement à une seconde zone (2) de la même ou d'une autre colonne du système.
