Abstract
Le procédé de fabrication et le panneau composite à nids d'abeille de l'invention sont du genre consistant à assembler par un de leurs bords jointifs, deux structures à nids d'abeille (5, 6) au-dessus d'une marche (22) sur une peau d'épaisseur variable (20). On réalisera un chanfrein (23) sous le bord à joindre d'au moins une structure (6) à nids d'abeille. On disposera au moins une autre structure à nids d'abeille (5) sur la peau (20) en porte-à-faux sur la marche (22), puis on collera sur la peau au delà (27) de la marche et en aboutement la dite au moins une structure chanfreinée (6) contre au moins la dite autre structure (5).
Description
Procédé de fabrication d'une pièce composite à nids d'abeille et panneau acoustique ainsi fabriqué
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une pièce composite à nids d'abeille et une pièce composite ainsi fabriquée.
Le domaine technique considéré est celui de la fabrication d'éléments d'absorption acoustique pour nacelles de moteurs d'avion, ces éléments comprenant typiquement une structure en nid d'abeilles prise en sandwich entre une peau d'absorption acoustique perforée, et une peau non perforée.
Dans certaines configurations, au moins l'une de ces peaux est formée par un drapage de plis de composites, sur lequel la structure en nid d'abeilles est rapportée par collage.
Tel est le cas par exemple d'une paroi d'une structure interne fixe IFS, munie de perforations débouchant d'une part dans la veine d'air froid, et d'autre part dans une structure en nid d'abeilles située côté moteur.
La peau formée par drapage de plis composites peut présenter des zones d'épaisseurs différentes, imposées par le cahier des charges.
Une difficulté survient alors dans la zone de liaison entre ces zones d'épaisseurs différentes : notamment lorsque le drapage des plis est réalisé de manière automatique, les marches qui séparent ces zones peuvent ne pas être franches, c'est-à-dire présenter un profil étalé.
Un tel profil rend difficile une juxtaposition satisfaisante des structures en nid d'abeilles qui seront disposées de part et d'autre de la marche en vue de leur collage sur la peau drapée.
On peut en particulier se retrouver dans des configurations où l'une des structures en nid d'abeille reposera en partie sur la marche, de sorte qu'il existera un espace libre entre cette structure et sa peau drapée associé.
Un tel espace libre empêchera un collage de la structure en nid d'abeille sur sa peau drapée, et constituera par la suite une non -conformité.
La présente invention vise à supprimer cet inconvénient en prévoyant de chanfreiner la structure en nid d'abeilles qui est destinée à occuper la partie basse de la marche, c'est-à-dire à être collée sur la partie drapée la moins épaisse.
Plus précisément, on chanfreine le pied de cette structure en nid d'abeilles qui est destiné à se retrouver en vis-à-vis de la marche.
On réalise de la sorte une cavité entre les deux structures en nid d'abeilles qui vont se retrouver jointives après collage sur la peau drapée, cette cavité pouvant recevoir les irrégularités de la marche, permettant ainsi aux deux structures d'être parfaitement jointives tant entre elles qu'avec la peau drapée.
A cet effet, la présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un panneau composite à nids d'abeille, du genre consistant à assembler par un de leurs bords jointifs, au moins deux structures à nids d'abeille au-dessus d'une marche sur une peau d'épaisseur variable. Le procédé de l'invention consiste principalement à réaliser un chanfrein sous le bord à joindre d'une structure à nids d'abeille ; à disposer l'autre structure à nids d'abeille sur la peau en porte-à-faux sur la marche, puis à coller sur la peau au delà de la marche et en aboutement la structure chanfreinée contre la structure en porte-à-faux sur la marche.
Selon d'autres caractéristiques additionnelles :
Le procédé comporte une étape pour paramétrer le porte-à-faux et le chanfrein en fonction de la géométrie de la marche à adapter ;
Le procédé consiste à conformer la marche en répartissant un ou plusieurs plis ou couches de tissus techniques le long du profil désiré de la marche.
L'invention concerne enfin un panneau composite à nids d'abeille, notamment pour panneau acoustique de nacelle d'aéronef. Le panneau acoustique de l'invention comporte au moins une peau d'épaisseur variable et présentant au moins une marche, au moins une structure en nids d'abeille collée au-delà de la marche sur la même face de la peau et qui présente un chanfrein en regard de la marche sur laquelle la dite au moins une structure chanfreinée est collée et au moins une autre structure en nids d'abeille collée en porte-à-faux au-dessus de la marche et, en aboutement avec la dite au moins une structure en nids d'abeille chanfreinée.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de la présente invention seront mieux comprises à l'aide de la description et des figures annexées parmi lesquelles ;
la Figure 1 représente une coupe locale d'un panneau composite produit idéalement dans l'état de la technique ;

la Figure 3 représente une coupe locale d'un panneau composite produit selon le procédé de fabrication de l'invention.
A la Figure 1 , on a représenté un panneau composite en cours de fabrication selon l'état de la technique. Une peau 1 est réalisée en un empilement de couches ou de plis de tissu technique. Elle est disposée au- dessus d'une seconde peau 2, réalisée de même. Une première structure en nids d'abeille 5 est alors déposée et collée sur le dessus de la peau 1 . Une seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6 est approchée latéralement et déposée en aboutement contre le bord à droite de la première structure en nids d'abeille 5. Elle est elle aussi collée sur le dessus de la seconde peau 2. Les première et seconde peaux 1 et 2 se recouvrent au moins partiellement au droit de la première structure en nids d'abeille 1 .
Selon cet état de la technique, il est réservé un espace entre le bord 4 de la première peau 1 et l'aboutement des première 5 et seconde 6 structures en nids d'abeille.
Or, dans la pratique, il est apparu une situation représentée à la Figure 2 dans laquelle la seconde structure 6 en nids d'abeille se place au moins au droit 4 de l'aboutage avec la première structure 5 en nids d'abeille, en biais. C'est notamment le cas lorsque le bord 9 de la première peau 1 dépasse le niveau 7 prévu, pour former une marche de variation d'épaisseur et au contraire dépasse le droit de la zone d'aboutage 4 des deux structures. Le cas se présente notamment pour des questions de tolérance, de défaillance ou de moyen de production, ou encore à cause de la mise en plis du tissu technique qui sert à former la préforme de la peau en matériau composite.
II en résulte que, se mettant en biais, la seconde structure 6 en nids d'abeille vient par son coin inférieur en butée sur le bord droit de la première structure 5 en nids d'abeille et ou en appui sur le bord 9 et de plus produit une zone 1 0 sans contact entre le fond de la structure 6 en nids d'abeille et la face supérieure de la seconde peau, interdisant un collage correct du bord gauche de la seconde structure 6 en nids d'abeille sur la seconde peau 2.
Pour remédier aux effets déceptifs de cet état de la technique, la présente invention propose un procédé de fabrication d'une pièce composite à nids d'abeille.
Une peau composite est réalisée en imprégnant un drapage de plusieurs couches et ou plis de tissu technique qui sont empilés de façon à présenter une première épaisseur, puis une seconde épaisseur, les première et
seconde épaisseurs étant jointe par une marche qui, dans un mode de réalisation présente une section d'épaisseur variable 24, 27.
Puis une première structure en nids d'abeille 5 est déposée, par collage notamment, sur la surface 21 de la peau réalisée, au droit 24 de la première épaisseur, tout en ménageant un porte-à-faux 25, au-dessus de la section d'épaisseur variable 24, 27.
Puis une seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6 est préparée par chanfreinage 23 de son bord inférieur destiné à venir en vis-à-vis de la première structure en nids d'abeille 5. La seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6 est ensuite aboutée au bord droite de la première structure en nids d'abeille 6, de sorte que le fond de la seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6 repose par collage sur la surface 21 de la seconde épaisseur de peau, au-delà de la fin 26 de la section d'épaisseur variable.
Il est ainsi ménagé un volume de sécurité entre la surface supérieure de la section d'épaisseur variable et le chanfrein 23 du bord inférieur de la seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6, dans laquelle aucun collage n'est prévu et qui permet d'assurer un collage correct des faces en regard de la seconde structure en nids d'abeille 6 et de la peau 20 dans sa section de seconde épaisseur 27.
II en résulte que la géométrie de la marche ou de la section d'épaisseur décroissante de la gauche vers la droite peut être imparfaite. Le chanfrein du coin inférieur gauche de la seconde structure à nids d'abeille à droite de la marche permettra de s'adapter à ces défauts.
La réalisation de la marche peut se faire par tous moyens. Notamment deux formes de marche sont prévues : une forme abrupte, dans laquelle le profil reste perpendiculaire aux deux surfaces droite et gauche de la peau et une forme d'épaisseur décroissante, le profil de la marche présentant une pente décroissante de la gauche vers la droite. Dans ce second cas, la fabrication de la préforme utilisée pour réaliser la peau avec une marche d'épaisseur décroissante peut comporter la mis en plusieurs plis dont le bord plié, autrement le retour du drap, est progressivement déplacé vers la droite quand on atteint une couche plus profonde. Au moins une dernière couche ou pli est enfin ajouté de façon à épouser sensiblement le profil d'épaisseur décroissante 22 de gauche à droite et de haut en bas, visible à la Figure 3., l'empilement peut ensuite être imprégné de résine, éventuellement dans un moule pour lui appliquer une forme par exemple cylindrique. C'est
ultérieurement, après la production des structures des nids d'abeille, que leurs bords en regard sont travaillés, et que le coin inférieur gauche de la structure à droite 6 est chanfreinée.
Le paramétrage du procédé de l'invention peut se réaliser, pour une marche de géométrie 24, 22, 26 donnée, par la définition du porte-à-faux
25 relativement au début de la marche 24. Le porte-à-faux est compté positivement dans la situation de la Figure 3, le bord à joindre de la structure à nids d'abeille 5 se trouvant à la position 25 déterminée à droite du début de la marche 24. Si le bord 25 à joindre de la structure à nids d'abeille 5 doit s'arrêter à gauche du début de la marche, le porte-à-faux est compté positivement.
De plus, le chanfrein 23 a été représenté sous la forme d'une droite dans la section. Mais, il est possible d'utiliser une forme creuse ou bombée.
Comme pour le porte-à-faux, le chanfrein doit être paramétré notamment par la position 27 de fin du chanfrein 23, à partir de laquelle le collage de la structure en nids d'abeille 6 à droite doit être collée à la peau 20. Cette position 27 doit cependant nécessairement se situer à droite de la fin de la marche 22 et elle est donc toujours positive.
Un autre paramètre du chanfrein doit être déterminé, qui peut être la pente du chanfrein 23, dans la coupe représentée à la Figure 3 et donc dans au moins un autre plan, ou encore en déterminant la hauteur du chanfrein 23 quand il vient en contact avec le bord 25 à joindre de la structure à nids d'abeille 5 à gauche.
Chanfrein et porte-à-faux sont paramétrés en fonction de la géométrie réelle de la marche de façon à ménager une poche vide sur la transition de la peau affectée par la marche. Cette poche vide permet de contenir les variations de forme de la marche à l'intérieur des tolérances de fabrication d'une pièce composite. Dans un exemple de réalisation, le chanfrein a été coupé à 45° sur une longueur 25 - 27 de 5 mm.
En effet, le chanfrein évite tout contact intempestif du profil de la marche avec un point de l'une des structures à nids d'abeille, ce qui limite les risques de non collement de surfaces de l'une ou l'autre des structures.
Un avantage de l'invention est de conserver un bord 4 d'un nid d'abeille 5 localisé au même endroit quelque soit le type de bord 9 ou de marche 22 de la peau . Ne pas bouger cette frontière permet de ne pas prendre de masse. Le nid d'abeilles 5 est plus dense que le nid d'abeilles 6 . La
surface de la peau 20, de l'autre côté de la surface qui reçoit les nids d'abeilles, peut être traitée acoustiquement.
Claims
1 . Procédé de fabrication d'un panneau composite à nids d'abeille, du genre consistant à assembler par un de leurs bords jointifs, deux structures à nids d'abeille (5, 6) au-dessus d'une marche (22) sur une peau d'épaisseur variable (20), caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à réaliser un chanfrein (23) sous le bord à joindre d'une structure (6) à nids d'abeille ; à disposer l'autre structure à nids d'abeille (5) sur la peau (20) en porte-à-faux sur la marche (22), puis à coller sur la peau (20) au delà (27) de la marche (22) et en aboutement la structure chanfreinée (6) contre la structure (5) en porte-à-faux sur la marche (25).
2. Procédé de fabrication selon la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape pour paramétrer le porte-à-faux (24, 25) et le chanfrein (25, 27) en fonction de la géométrie de la marche (22) à adapter.
3. Procédé de fabrication selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à conformer la marche en répartissant un ou plusieurs plis ou couches de tissus techniques le long du profil (24, 25) désiré de la marche (22).
4. Panneau composite à nids d'abeille, notamment pour panneau acoustique de nacelle d'aéronef, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins une peau (20) d'épaisseur variable et présentant au moins une marche (22), au moins une structure en nids d'abeille (6) collée au-delà de la marche (22) sur la même face (21 ) de la peau (20) et qui présente un chanfrein (23) en regard de la marche (22) sur laquelle la dite au moins une structure chanfreinée est collée et au moins une autre structure en nids d'abeille (5) collée en porte-à- faux au-dessus de la marche et, en aboutement avec la dite au moins une structure en nids d'abeille chanfreinée (6).
