Abstract

A grid cover (1) is disclosed for keeping a cooking grid (6), such as an oven grid, clean during use, said grid cover comprising a sheet of a heat-resistant and greaseproof material, wherein the sheet comprises, in one direction, a plurality of pleats with a consecutive row of alternating top folds (2) and bottom folds (3) forming parallel crests and grooves (5), respectively, in the material. Furthermore, an oven grid for being used with such a grid cover is disclosed, comprising a plurality of grid bases (10) arranged to be able to support and hold two liquid collection trays (11) beneath and parallel to the two edges of the oven grid perpendicular to the grid wires, respectively. Even further, a method is disclosed for keeping a grid cover in place on a cooking grid during use.
