Abstract

A seamless nanocomposite vessel, includes a high density polymer adapted into the shape of a desired vessel, the vessel having an inner surface sputtered with a metal and an outer surface, the inner surface defining a space; and a plurality of layers disposed over the inner surface of the vessel, the outer surface of the vessel, or both, each layer being independently selected from the group consisting of a thermoplastic material and a thermoset nanocomposite material. Methods for making and using such vessels also are provided.
