Abstract

A method of operation of applications on a web platform and a circuit for carrying out said method are applied in the system of sale of applications in real time. It consists of a controlling part of a server (XX) containing a registration unit (1), and which generates a personal account (1A) for an application publisher connected to the server (XX) via hardware communications means, such as PC, Phone, Tablet. The server further contains a database (DB). The database is connected to the controlling part of the server (XX). The personal account (1A) of the application publisher also contains a possibility to amend to a modified personal account (1B) of the application publisher.A registration unit (2) of an application consumer generates a personal account (2A) of the application consumer, which is connected to the server(XX) through hardware communications means (6) of the application consumer, such as (PC, Phone, Tablet) and to the database(DB),which is connected to the server(XX). The database (DB) also contains a sorting system (TS), which sorts respective applications (APL) into categories and a searching system (VS). The server (XX) also contains a monitoring system (MS), which is automatically inserted into applications (APL).The monitoring system(MS) automatically counts and monitors all sold applications in all sales networks,such as Google Play, App Store, Black Berry World, Windows Phone and others in real time. All data from the monitoring system(MS) are brought to the server (XX),which processes and rates them. Information is further provided to the application consumer and application publisher via the hardware communications means (5) of application publishers and hardware communications means (6) of the application consumers, such as PC, Phone, Tablet and the like.

Method of operation of applications on a web platform and a circuit for carrying out the method.

Technical field

An invention of a method of operation of applications on a web platform and system (circuit) for carrying out said method concerns further expansion of opportunities in the trade of application software for smart phones and tablets having Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and other operating systems. In addition to a standard sale the expansion of opportunities also relates to a sale of profit sharing from application software or to a purchase of a certain amount of the profit share in real time. The invention falls within the field of electronic trade and electronic information processing.

State of the art

The prior art of the basic system of sale of application software lies in the fact that every application software designed for sale is submitted by a publisher, who either invents or by themselves submits the application software into already existing systems, where on the grounds of existing criteria the application software is grouped into particular categories and subsequently it is offered for purchase to an end user by means of distribution platforms, such as Google Play, App Store, BlackBerry World, Windows Phone and others. After registration in certain distribution platforms a customer enters the systems after logging in. The customer is able to browse application software through searching fields or through individual categories in the databases of the systems. The customer confirms a selected desired application and downloads the application by clicking on the buy option (Buy).

The fact that the customer becomes a passive participant, because they do not have an opportunity to invest into the trade and therefore they cannot participate on the profit sharing from the sale of applications as the main sales networks do, is a disadvantage of the existing electronic sales systems of applications.

The above stated shortcomings of the application sales on the web platform left a space to address the said problem by means of an invention. The objectives of the invention were therefore to create such a method and a system circuit for the operation of the application software on the web platform that would fill the free room in the similar commodities, which would enable further development of possibilities in the segment of trade in applications for smart phones and tablets using the operating systems Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and others. The said has been done by the present invention.

Subject-matter of the invention

The above cited shortcomings are eliminated by the method of operation of applications on a web platform and a circuit for carrying out the method according to the present invention. The essence of the method of operation of web platform application software and a circuit for carrying out the method is in that a server with a database of applications having a sorting system and a searching system, wherein a controlling part of the server contains a monitoring system, is a core of the system. Further on, the server contains a registration unit of application publishers and a registration unit of application users. In the first step the publishers register themselves in an application publishers' registration unit via the hardware communications means of the application publishers. The system generates a personal account for them. The said registration step can be made through the hardware communications means of the application publishers, such as PC, Phone, Tablet and the like. After registration, on the grounds of the set criteria the application publishers submit individual applications into the controlling part of the server, which contains the monitoring system. The system (server) calculates and generates the best optimized option of sharing sales for the respective application. Subsequently, the application publisher is given a possibility to approve the criteria generated for the application. After the approval the monitoring system is implemented into the application and subsequently, thus processed applications further proceed through the communications network into the database, where they are stored and sorted. For the purpose of the present invention the term "application" shall be understood as a functional software solution designed for electronic devices providing the user with selected functions. The database also contains the sorting system, which sorts all applications into categories and it also contains the searching system. The applications processed by the system are made available to end users to purchase a profit sharing from the application by means of various communications networks that are at that moment being used by the consumers, e.g. PC, Mobile, Tablet and the like. If the publishers of the applications are not satisfied, then they have an opportunity to review and set new criteria for the applications. The system re-calculates and generates new possibilities of sales sharing from the respective applications, and through the communications networks they are then submitted into the database, where they are stored and categorised among other applications and are made available to end users for buying a profit share.

The personal account of the publisher also contains an account settings change option, which is linked to the controlling part of the server. The application publisher has a possibility to change original settings of a change or an application input, of the amount of sale of the application share, remove the application (only in the case no profit sharing of the application has been sold), when the controlling part of the server will then block the application in accordance with the general trading terms and conditions, to submit the application, etc. The changes in the settings can be performed by using various hardware communications means, such as PC, Telephone, Tablet.

The hardware communications means of the application publishers, such as PC, Telephone, Tablet and the like, as well as the controlling part of the server XX is secured, protected, i.e. the data transit is provided in the encrypted network having valid standards. The controlling part of the server further processes and generates information on application publishers and their applications, which is rated on the grounds of their performance. Through the hardware communications means the pieces of information are subsequently provided to end users by means of the controlling part of the server.

The application consumers access the controlling part of the server by filling-in an application consumers' registration unit, which generates their personal accounts. After registering the consumers enjoy a possibility to choose a purchase of applications from the database in the controlling part of the server via the consumers hardware communications means through the sorting system, through individual categories or through the searching system, be it either the investments, which means a purchase of the profit shares from applications or the investments by purchasing only the application or both. Profits from the given possibilities are paid to the consumers in accordance with the general trading terms and conditions.

The monitoring system automatically monitors the sale of applications in all sales channels, such as (Google Play, App Store, BlackBerry World, Windows Phone and others) in real time. All data are directed to the controlling part of the server that processes and rates them and sends information further to the application publishers and consumers. The advantages of the method of operation of applications on the web platform and a the circuit for carrying out the method according to the invention are apparent from the outwardly manifested effects. The effects primarily consist in the system monitoring applications and sale thereof by means of the monitoring system, even if sold through other sales networks than e.g. Google Play, App Store, BlackBerry World, Windows Phone and others and in precisely calculating the shares for everyone, who participates in the respective application and by that not limiting possibilities of the application publishers. The system enables new possibilities of purchase for end users of applications. It enables the consumers, who have no talents to design applications, to purchase the profit sharing from the sale of applications. Applications as well as application publishers profit from the respective applications on a long term basis. Twenty-four hour electronic trading worldwide can take place. A simple access into the system is allowed, namely activation, registration or a status change. The system is safe. The system enables effective investment into and use of applications for a long-term profit.

The enclosed diagram illustrates the system (circuit) for operation of applications on the web platform by the method according to the invention applied in the system of sale of applications in real time.

Exemplary embodiment of the invention

The introduced various embodiments of the invention are considered illustrational and not as a limitation of the said technical solutions. By using no more than a routine experimentation persons skilled in the art shall find or will be able to find out many equivalents to the specific embodiments of the invention. Such equivalents shall also fall within the scope of the following patent claims. For persons skilled in the art an optimal design cannot cause any problem, therefore these features have not been addressed in details.

In this particular exemplary embodiment of the subj ect-matter of the invention a method of operation of applications on a web platform is described and so is the circuit for carrying out the method as illustrated on the picture. A core of the system is a server XX having a database DB of applications comprising a sorting system TS and a searching system VS, wherein a controlling part of the server XX contains a monitoring system MS. The server XX further contains registration unit 1 of application publishers and registration unit 2 of application consumers. In the first step the application publishers register themselves in registration unit 1 of application publishers through hardware communications means 5_ of application publishers. The system generates their personal accounts 1A. The said registration step can be carried out through hardware communications means 5 of application publishers, such as PC, Phone, Tablet and the like. After registration, the application publishers upload individual applications APL based on the set criteria into the controlling part of the server XX, which contains the monitoring system MS. The system of the controlling part of the server XX calculates and generates the best optimized option of sale of shares from the respective applications. Subsequently, the application publishers are given a possibility to approve the generated profit sharing. After the approval of the applications APL, the monitoring system MS is implemented into them and afterwards thus treated applications APL further proceed via the communications network into the database DB, where they are stored and sorted. The database DB also contains the sorting system TS, which sorts all applications APL into categories and also contains the searching system VS. Thus the system- processed applications APL are made available to end users in order to purchase the profit sharing from the application APL, by means of various communications networks being used by the consumers at that moment, such as PC, Mobile, Tablet and the like. If the application publishers are not satisfied, then they have a possibility to review and set new criteria for the applications. The system re-calculates and generates new possibilities of sale of shares from the respective applications APL, which are through the communications networks thereafter submitted into the database DB, where they are stored and categorised among other applications APL and are made available for end users to purchase the profit sharing.

Furthermore, there is another possibility, where personal accounts LA of application publishers also contain IB of modified settings of the personal accounts connected to the controlling part of the server XX, which will enable the application publishers to modify original settings, changes in or uploads of the applications, sales of a number of shares of the applications, removal of applications, but only in the case no profit share of the applications has been sold, where afterward the controlling part of the server XX. will block the applications in accordance with the general trading terms and conditions, of submission of applications, etc. Changes to settings can be performed via various hardware communications means, such as PC, Telephone, Tablet.

Hardware communications means 5 of application publishers, such as PC, Telephone, Tablet and the like and also the controlling part of the server XX is secured, protected, i.e. the data transit is provided in the encrypted network having valid standards. The controlling part of the server XX further processes and generates information on application publishers and their applications APL to appraise them on the grounds of their performance. Through the controlling part of the server XX the information is further provided into the hardware communications means 5 of the end users.

The consumers of applications access the controlling part of the server XX by filling- in an application consumers' registration unit 2, which generates personal accounts 2A. After registering via the consumers hardware communications means 6 the consumers have a possibility to choose in the controlling part of the server XX a purchase of applications APL from the database DB through the sorting system TS in individual categories or through the searching system VS be it the investment, which is the purchase of profit sharing form the application or the investments by purchasing the applications only or both. Profits from the respective options are paid to the consumers in accordance with the general trading terms and conditions.

Monitoring system MS counts and monitors all sold applications in all distribution platforms, such as (Google Play, App Store, BlackBerry World, Windows Phone and others) in real time. All data are directed to the controlling part of the server XX, which processes and appraises them and sends information further to the application publishers and consumers.

Industrial applicability

The method of operation of applications on the web platform and the system (circuit) for carrying out said method is utilized in the systems of web platforms in electronic sales systems.

Claims

1. A method of operation of published applications on a web platform and registration of application publishers and registration of application consumers, characterized in that further performed is:

- generating of personal accounts (1 A) of application publishers by a registration unit (1) of the application publishers;

- Submitting of applications (APL) to a controlling part of a server (XX) through the communications network;

- Assigning a monitoring system (MS) to the applications (APL) in the controlling part of the server (XX);

- Generating of profit shares from sales of the applications (APL) or generating shares from sales of profit sharing in the controlling part of the server (XX);

- Relocation of applications (APL) from the controlling part of the server (XX) into a database (DB);

- Generating of personal accounts (2A) of application consumers by a registration unit of the application consumers;

- Downloading of applications (APL) by application consumers through the communications network or purchase of profit shares from the applications (APL) or sale of profit sharing from the applications (APL) in real time;

- Monitoring of sold applications (APL) by the monitoring system (MS) in sales networks in real time;

- Calculation of profit shares from sale of the applications (APL) or from the purchase of profit sharing from the applications (APL) or from sale of profit shares from the applications (APL) in the controlling part of the server (XX) with the data transit to the hardware communications means (5) of application publishers and/or to the hardware communications means (6) of the application consumers.

2. A method of operation of applications on the web platform according to Claim 1, characterized in that the amended personal accounts (IB) of application publishers are generated by the registration unit (1).

3. A method of operation of applications on the web platform according to Claim 1, characterized in that sorting of and searching for applications (APL) with the assigned monitoring system (MS) take place in the database (DB).

A circuit for operation of the submitted applications on the web platform containing hardware communications means of the application publishers and hardware communications means of application consumers connected by communications networks with servers containing registration units (1) of application publishers and registration units (2) of application consumers, characterized in that the database (DB) of applications containing the sorting system (TS) and the searching system (VS) is a part of every server, wherein the controlling part of the server (XX) contains the monitoring system (MS).
