- ⁇ PUSCH offset is set for each terminal apparatus 1 by the base station apparatus 3, and is set using a radio resource control signal (Radio Resource Control signal: RRC signal) notified from the base station apparatus 3 to the terminal apparatus 1. Offset value.
- RRC signal is also referred to as an RRC message (RRC message), an RRC information element (RRC information element), and an upper layer signal (higher layer signaling).
- the terminal device 1 calculates Q ′ by applying the set ⁇ PUSCH offset to Equation 1. That is, ⁇ PUSCH offset determines the number of modulation symbols used for CQI / PMI transmission.

- ⁇ PUSCH offset, 3 is set as the offset (Q ′ is calculated using Equation 4).
- the terminal device 1 stores a subframe set used for initial transmission of uplink data, and stores the stored subframes. - Set B ′ offset ⁇ PUSCH offset, 2 when transmitted.
- ⁇ PUSCH offset, 1 and ⁇ PUSCH offset, 2 are offset values set by the RRC signal from the base station apparatus 3. - B ′ offset shows a mode in which independent values are set for the two types of the first subframe set and the second subframe set, but three or more types of subframe sets are set. In this case, a value may be set for each subframe set.
- the base station apparatus 3 can determine the subframe set in which the uplink data is initially transmitted based on the timing at which the uplink data is received from the terminal apparatus 1. Furthermore, the subframe set of the subframe that receives the CSI / PMI can be specified by the transmission timing of the uplink grant that makes the CSI request to the terminal device 1. That is, when the base station apparatus 3 transmits a CSI request, whether uplink data is initially transmitted or retransmitted together with CQI / PMI in the PUSCH, and when uplink data is retransmitted, the uplink data is transmitted.
- the combination of the subframe set used for the initial transmission of link data and the current subframe set used for retransmission of the uplink data allows the terminal device 1 to determine the number of CQI / PMI modulation symbols.
- An appropriate value for the offset used for the calculation can be specified. Therefore, the base station apparatus 3 transmits a CSI request using a plurality of bits, and designates an offset value by a combination of the plurality of bits, so that the terminal apparatus 1 can perform initial transmission and retransmission of uplink data.
- the offset value can be set without depending on the type of subframe set.
