- the second terminal device may display the video cropped at the signal receiving device (or sync device) using one cropped coordinate.
- the video displayed by the second terminal device may be inserted into a picture in picture (PIP) in the signal receiving device.
- PIP picture in picture
- the signal receiving apparatus can scale the cropped Region Of Interest (ROI) video and provide it in the form of PIP so that the user can watch the closed up video.

- the second terminal device may transmit information about the terminal device to the signal receiving device.
- the signal reception device may select a profile and a level and display a cropped video according to the profile and the level.
- the signal receiving apparatus may include frame dropping when the frame rate of the video is different.
- the profile may indicate a profile for a corresponding video stream, that is, a basic specification required for decoding the corresponding stream.
- the profile may include chroma subsampling (e.g. 4: 2: 0, 4: 2: 2, etc.), bit depth (e.g. 8-bit, 10-bit) of the video stream, requirement information for the coding tool, etc. can do.
- the level may define the level for the video stream, that is, to what extent the description element defined in the profile is supported. For example, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, and the like may be included.
- the signal receiving apparatus selects a medium screen profile from three profiles (eg, a large screen profile, a medium screen profile, and a small screen profile), and checks an aspect ratio.

- Profiles can be classified based on screen size, and aspect ratio information can be calculated from the resolution. If the cropped video has an aspect ratio (the aspect ratio information can be calculated from the resolution even if it is not signaled) is 16: 9, and the aspect ratio of the second terminal device (the aspect ratio information can be calculated from the resolution even if it is not signaled). ) Should be a letterbox if 4: 3.
- the signal receiving device may insert a letterbox into the video according to a user's selection, or shift and display the video to one side and use the remaining space as a space for executing additional apps.
- the signal reception device may crop the video to fit the screen ratio of the second terminal device with the start coordinates for cropping, instead of cropping at the 16: 9 aspect ratio, and output the video to fit the screen.
- the signal transmitting device transmits additional information such as a stream including UHD video and coordinates for cropping the video and some crop sizes, so that the signal receiving device displays the UHD video, and the signal receiving device closes up or zooms in. Since the video can be transmitted to the second terminal device according to the characteristics of each terminal device, the closed-up / zoom-in video can be received by another terminal device without additional stream.

- the aspect ratio of the cropped ROI region may be calculated from crop information transmitted from the signal transmission apparatus.
- the signal receiving device may transmit the decoded and cropped video data to the second terminal device through the interface.

If it is determined that the signal receiving apparatus applies the AFD bar, the pillarbox may be inserted into left and right sides of the cropped video (S175). If it is determined that the signal reception apparatus does not apply the AFD bar, the specific coordinate of the second terminal device may be set as the reference coordinate of the video data (S180). For example, the video can be shifted to one side and displayed, and the remaining space can be allocated as space for additional app execution.
- the signal receiving device may determine whether the AFD bar is applied (S185). For example, Device_AR may be 4: 3 and ROI_AR may be 16: 9. If it is determined that the signal receiving apparatus applies the AFD bar, the letterbox may be inserted into upper and lower sides of the cropped video (S190). If it is determined that the signal reception apparatus does not apply the AFD bar, the specific coordinate of the second terminal device may be set as the reference coordinate of the video data (S195). For example, the video can be shifted to one side and displayed, and the remaining space can be allocated as space for additional app execution.

- the signal receiving apparatus may transmit a video corresponding to a suitable profile and level to the second terminal apparatus.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a method of displaying a cropped video in a second terminal device according to another exemplary embodiment.
- a signal receiving apparatus capable of cropping a plurality of ROI regions.
- the signal receiving apparatus may crop the plurality of ROI regions using a plurality of coordinates, and the selected ROI region may be displayed at the second terminal device.
- the ROI region to be cropped may be selected at the signal receiving apparatus and may be selected at the second terminal apparatus.
- the video displayed on the second terminal device may be inserted into the PIP in the signal receiving device.

For example, if a soccer match video is transmitted as shown in FIG. 3, the video for the home team is numbered 1, the video for the away team is numbered 2, or the information for the main players is numbered 3, 4, and the like. Can be sent with crop coordinates.
- the ROI region may be directly selected by the user in the signal receiving apparatus or the second terminal apparatus based on crop coordinates and numbers.
