Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of proximity communication technologies, and in particular, to a proximity group communication method and a terminal.
- Proximity-based Services working item (ProSe) group communication (called proximity group communication) is a communication mode proposed to meet public security requirements.
- ProSe group communication can support multicast mode and broadcast. Point-to-multipoint communication of the pattern.
- the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) proposes two implementation methods for ProSe group communication: Group Owner (GO) mode ProSe group communication and mobile self-organizing (Ad Hoc) mode ProSe group communication, the following is a description of the two modes of ProSe group communication.
- This mode is applicable to a stable group ownership scenario.
- a neighboring communication group there is a User Equipment (UE) as a GO, which is the central coordination node of the group.
- the GO authenticates each other with each UE as a member of the group, so that the group members join the neighboring communication group, and the GO assigns an Internet Protocol (IP) address to each group member.
- IP Internet Protocol
- the group call data is sent to the GO in a unicast mode, and the GO distributes the group call data to all members in the group through multicast, broadcast, or unicast mode.
- This mode can be used as the default ProSe group communication mode, which is used when GO is not found.
- the Ad Hoc mode group uses a distributed architecture. Because there is no centralized IP address allocation mechanism, Ad Hoc mode group communication is implemented based on layer 2.
- the UE When the UE needs to initiate a group call to other UEs, first perform "carrier sensing", that is, check whether the medium is busy; if the medium is idle, the UE sends a setup (SETUP, su) frame to preempt the medium; after transmitting the last su frame, Start to transmit a talk burst (tb) frame; when the tb frame transmission ends, the UE sends a transmission stop (txc) frame to indicate to other UEs in the group that the preemption medium can be started, that is, the medium is indicated to be idle.
- the so-called medium is the channel resource used by the data transmission at the physical layer.
- the su frame, the tb frame, and the txc frame sent by the UE use the multicast address in the layer-2 Destination Address field of the data frame.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a proximity group communication method and a terminal to solve the problem of how the terminal preempts the voice right to establish a new group call session during the current group call session.
- a neighboring group communication method when performing a first group call session of a neighbor group communication, if a second group call session of the neighbor group communication needs to be established, the method includes:
- the second group call session is established.
- a priority comparison module configured to compare a priority of the first group of call sessions with a priority of the second group of call sessions to be established
- a group call session establishing module configured to establish the second group call when the comparison result of the priority comparison module is that the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session Conversation.
- the two can be compared.
- the group calls the priority of the session to determine whether to establish a new group call session. Specifically, if the priority of the new group call session is higher than the priority of the current group call session, a new group call session is established, so that the terminal that needs to initiate a new group call session preempts the voice.

- the priority of the two group call sessions can be compared to determine whether to establish a new group call session. Specifically, if the priority of the new group call session is higher than the priority of the current group call session, a new group call session is established, so that the terminal that needs to initiate a new group call session preempts the voice.
- the embodiment of the present invention provides a neighbor group communication method, and the implementation manner thereof is as shown in FIG. Operation:
- Step 100 Compare the priority of the first group of call sessions with the priority of the second group of call sessions to be established.
- Step 110 Establish a second group call session when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session.
- the priority of the first group of call sessions may be the priority of the terminal that initiates the first group of call sessions, or the priority of the user who initiates the call of the first group of call sessions, or may be the first
- the priority of the neighboring communication group in which the terminal of the call group is located may also be the priority of the terminal that initiates the first group call session, the priority of the user who initiates the terminal of the first group call session, and/or initiate the first The priority determined by the priority of the neighboring communication group where the terminal of the group call session is located.
- the priority of the second group of call sessions may be the priority of the terminal that initiates the second group of call sessions, or the priority of the user of the terminal that initiates the second group of call sessions, or the second group call may be initiated.
- the priority of the neighboring communication group where the terminal of the session is located may also be the priority of the terminal that initiates the second group of call sessions, the priority of the user of the terminal that initiates the second group of call sessions, and/or the second group call session. The priority of the terminal that is located adjacent to the priority of the communication group.
- the process shown in Figure 1 may be the process of the initiator of the second group of call sessions in the Ad Hoc mode or the Group Owner mode, or the second group of call sessions in the Ad Hoc mode or the Group Owner mode.
- the processing flow of the receiver can also be the processing flow of the GO in the Group Owner mode.
- the processing flow of the receiver and initiator of the second group of call sessions is further described below.
- the second group call receives, by the receiver of the second group of call sessions, a request for establishing a second group call session, comparing the priority of the first group of call sessions with the priority of the second group of call sessions to be established, the second group call
- the session establishment request carries the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- the receiver receives a second group call setup request from the GO.
- the receiver receives a second group call setup request from the initiator of the second group call session.
- the priority of the second group of call sessions carried in the setup request of the second group of call sessions is also saved.
- the priority of the second group of call sessions may be saved before the priority is compared, or the priority of the second group of call sessions may be saved after the priority is compared.
- the priority of the second group call session carried in the second group call session establishment request may be saved when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. If the priority of the second group call session is lower than the priority of the first group call session, the second group call carried in the setup request of the second group call session is not saved. The priority of the session.
- the data plane and the control plane of the adjacent group call communication are not separated.
- the technical solution proposed by the embodiment of the present invention can be applied to a scenario where the data plane and the control plane are separated, and can also be applied to a scenario where the data plane and the control plane are not separated.
- the so-called separation of the data plane and the control plane refers to the transmission of group call data through the data channel, and the control signaling such as group call session establishment/demolition of the neighbor group communication is transmitted through the control channel.
- the so-called data plane and control plane are not separated, which means that the control signaling and group call data of the group call session are transmitted through one channel.
- the establishment request of the second group call session is received through the intercept control channel.
- establishing the second group call session specifically refers to receiving the group call data sent by the establishment request sending end of the second group call session on the data channel.
- the method embodiment based on the receiver of the group call session preferably receives the channel reception other than the channel occupied by the first group call session.
- the establishment request of the second group of call sessions specifically refers to receiving the group call data sent by the establishment request sending end of the second group call session on the channel that receives the establishment request of the second group call session.
- establishing the second group of call sessions specifically refers to: performing media preemption on the control channel; after the media preemption succeeds, Sending a setup request of the second group of call sessions on the control channel, and sending the group call data on the data channel, where the second group call session setup request carries the priority of the second group call session; After the establishment request of the second group of call sessions, a control channel release notification is sent on the control channel.
- the present invention exemplifies one of the preferred implementation manners: sending a media preemption request on the control channel; sending the last media preemption request to start, at a predetermined time The internal control channel is intercepted; if the media preemption request sent by another terminal is not monitored on the control channel within the predetermined time, the media preemption is determined to be successful.
- the number of media preemption requests sent does not exceed the value range of the media preemption request corresponding to the second group of call sessions.
- the lower limit value of the media preemption request quantity range corresponding to the second group call session is greater than the upper limit value of the media preemption request quantity range corresponding to the group call session whose priority is lower, and the second group call session corresponds to the upper limit value.
- the upper limit value of the media preemption request quantity range is less than the lower limit value of the media preemption request quantity range corresponding to the group call session whose priority is lower;
- the predetermined time is an integer multiple of the delay required to transmit a media preemption request.
- the initiator of the second group call session may also send a media preemption request on the control channel; after the last media preemption request is sent, the interception control is performed within a predetermined time. Channel; if the media preemption request sent by another terminal is not monitored on the control channel within the predetermined time, the second group call session stop notification is sent on the control channel.
- establishing the second group of call sessions specifically refers to: Selecting one channel for each medium to perform media preemption; after the media preemption succeeds, the second group call session establishment request is sent on the selected channel, and the second group call session establishment request carries the second group call session Priority; after the setup request of the second group call session is sent, the group call data is sent on the selected channel.
- the following is one of the following: sending media preemption request; after sending the last media preemption request, listening to the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions within a predetermined backoff time
- the media preemption is determined to be successful if the media preemption request sent by the terminal in any of the neighboring communication groups is not received on each channel except the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions in the backoff time.
- the initiator of the second group call session may also perform media preemption by referring to the media preemption mode when the data plane and the control plane are separated.
- the second group of call session initiators are also received from the second group of call session initiators.
- a request is established, and the second group call session establishment request carries the priority of the second group call session.
- the priority of the second group of call sessions carried in the setup request of the second group of call sessions is also saved.
- the priority of the second group of call sessions may be saved before the priority is compared, or the priority of the second group of call sessions may be saved after the priority is compared.
- the priority of the second group call session carried in the second group call establishment request may be saved when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. If the priority of the second group of call sessions is lower than the priority of the first group of call sessions, the priority of the second group of call sessions carried in the setup request of the second group of call sessions is not saved.
- establishing the second group call session specifically refers to: forwarding the establishment request of the second group call session to the terminal in the neighboring communication group; and receiving the establishment request of the second group call session

- the group call data of the currently ongoing group call session ie, the first group of call sessions
- Step 200 After determining that the control channel is idle, terminal A (ie, the initiator of the second group of call sessions) preempts the control channel through the medium preemption mechanism of layer 3.
- the medium preemption mechanism of layer 3 can be used to solve this problem.
- a terminal that needs to send a group call session establishment request on the control plane specifically:
- the terminal sends a thousand media preemption requests on the control channel, and the media preemption request may be, but is not limited to, a su frame;
- the terminal listens to the control channel within a predetermined time, which is an integer multiple of the delay required for the terminal to transmit a media preemption request;
- the preemption control channel is successful.
- the group call session establishment request is not initiated on the control channel.
- the number of media preemption requests sent by the terminal does not exceed the value range of the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session that needs to be initiated.
- the lower limit value of the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session is greater than the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session whose priority is lower.
- the upper limit of the range of the value of the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session is less than the lower limit of the value range of the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session whose priority is lower.
- the above predetermined time can be determined by the following formula: ( mcw - f ) * 7>.
- the mcw in the formula is the maximum number of media preemption requests that the terminal is allowed to send, that is, the upper limit of the value range of the media preemption request corresponding to the group call session initiated by the terminal; Rx in the formula is the medium actually sent by the terminal. Preempt the number of requests; 7 in the formula is the delay required to transmit a media preemption request.
- the predetermined time may also be configured as a fixed integer multiple of Tx.
- FIG. 5 A rectangular block in Figure 5 represents a data frame in a proximity group communication.
- Terminal A sends three media preemption requests on the control channel
- terminal C sends two media preemption requests on the control channel.
- Terminal A and terminal C simultaneously start transmitting media preemption requests on the control channel, and each media preemption request is sent through a data frame in a neighboring group communication.
- the terminal C After the terminal C sends the two media preemption requests, it starts to listen to the control channel, and after listening to the media preemption request sent by the terminal A, the terminal C discards the media preemption.
- the terminal A After receiving the three media preemption requests, the terminal A starts to listen to the control channel, and does not monitor the media preemption request in the agreed five data frames, and the media preemption is considered successful.
- the terminal A compares the priority of the first group call session with the priority of the second group call session, only when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. Step 200 is performed.
- Step 210 After the preemption succeeds, the terminal A sends a setup request of the second group call session on the control channel, and sends the group call data on the data channel.

- the terminal with the highest priority among each adjacent communication group may send a media preemption request after receiving the control channel release notification.
- Step 230 The terminal B (the terminal that receives the request for establishing the second group call session, may be the initiator of the first group call session, or the receiver of the first group call session) receives the second on the control channel. After the establishment of the group call session, the priority of the first group of call sessions and the priority of the second group of call sessions are compared. If the priority of the second group of call sessions is greater than the priority of the first group of call sessions, step 240 is performed. Otherwise, the establishment request of the second group of call sessions is ignored.
- the terminal B also monitors the control channel while transmitting the group call data of the first group of call sessions on the data channel.
- step 230 may be omitted.
- Step 240 The terminal B receives the group call data of the second group of call sessions on the data channel.
- the terminal B also reserves the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- terminal B may send a setup request response to terminal A after the preemption control channel succeeds.
- Step 250 After the group call data of the second group of call sessions is sent, the terminal A preempts the control channel by using the media preemption mechanism of the layer 3, and after the preemption succeeds, sends a second group call session stop notification on the control channel.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of a neighboring group communication method in a neighboring group communication scenario in which the data plane and the control plane are not separated in the Ad Hoc mode. Among them, the dotted line with an arrow indicates that the information is transmitted by broadcast or multicast.
- Step 300 Terminal A (ie, the initiator of the second group of call sessions) preempts the idle channel by using a medium preemption mechanism based on layer 3 of the random backoff.
- the terminal selects one channel to send a media preemption request from each of the idle channels except the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions; after transmitting the last media preemption request, monitors the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions within a predetermined backoff time If the channel does not receive the media preemption request sent by the terminal in any of the neighboring communication groups on the channels other than the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions, the channel preemption is considered successful; If the media preemption request sent by the other terminals in any of the neighboring communication groups is received on at least one channel other than the channel occupied by the first group of call sessions in the backoff time, the channel preemption failure is considered, and the channel preemption is discarded.
- the terminal A compares the priority of the first group call session with the priority of the second group call session, only when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. Step 300 is performed.
- Step 310 After the preemption succeeds, the terminal A sends a request for establishing the second group call session on the selected channel.
- the request for establishing the second group of call sessions carries the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- Step 320 After sending the setup request of the second group call session, the terminal A sends the group call data of the second group call session on the selected channel.
- the group call data is sent on the selected channel after receiving the setup request response returned by the at least one terminal.
- Step 330 The terminal B (the terminal that receives the request for establishing the second group call session may be the initiator of the first group call session or the receiver of the first group call session) receives on the channel selected by the terminal group A. After the request for establishing the second group of call sessions, comparing the priority of the first group of call sessions with the priority of the second group of call sessions, if the priority of the second group of call sessions is greater than the priority of the first group of call sessions, Step 340 is performed, otherwise, the establishment request of the second group call session is ignored.

- Step 340 The terminal B receives the group call data of the second group call session on the channel that receives the establishment request of the second group call session.
- the terminal B also reserves the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- the terminal B may send a setup request response to the terminal A on the channel that receives the establishment request of the second group call session.
- Figure 4 shows a schematic diagram of a neighboring group communication method in a neighboring group communication scenario in the Group Owner mode.
- the dotted line with an arrow indicates that the information is transmitted by broadcast or multicast.
- Step 400 Terminal A (ie, the initiator of the second group of call sessions) sends a request for establishing a second group call session to the GO of the neighboring communication group to which it belongs.
- the request for establishing the second group of call sessions carries the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- the terminal A compares the priority of the first group call session with the priority of the second group call session, only when the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. Step 400 is performed.

- Step 420 After receiving the setup request of the second group call session, the GO compares the priority of the first group call session with the priority of the second group call session, if the priority of the second group call session is greater than the first group call session. If the priority is reached, step 430 is performed, otherwise, the establishment request of the second group of call sessions is ignored.
- Step 430 The GO receives the group call data of the second group call session sent by the terminal A, and broadcasts the group call data of the second group call session in the neighboring communication group.
- the GO can also forward the group call data of the second group of call sessions to the terminals in the neighboring communication group through the unicast mode.
- the GO may further indicate that the sender of the first group call session ends the first group of call sessions.
- the GO may also return a setup request response to the terminal A.
- the GO forwards the setup request of the second group call session of the terminal A in the neighboring communication group, and then broadcasts the group call data of the second group call session in the neighboring communication group. If the GO receives the setup request of the group call session sent by multiple terminals during the process of the first group call session, the GO performs the priority of the group call session received and the priority of the first group call session respectively. At the same time of comparison, the priority of each group call session received is compared, so that the group call session with the highest priority is selected for establishment. In this case, the GO needs to send a setup request response to the initiator of the selected group call session, and the terminal A needs to send the group call data of the second group call session after receiving the setup request response.
- the terminal B (the terminal receiving the setup request of the second group call session may be the initiator of the first group call session, or may be After receiving the setup request of the second group call session, the receiver of the first group of call sessions compares the priority of the first group call session with the priority of the second group call session, if the priority of the second group call session If the priority of the first group of call sessions is greater than the group call data of the second group call session, the group call data of the second group call session is received. Otherwise, the establishment request of the second group call session is ignored.
- the terminal B also reserves the priority of the second group of call sessions.
- the terminal B receives the establishment request of the second group call session, or determines that the priority of the second group call session is greater than the priority of the first group call session.
- the terminal B After receiving the first group call session interruption indication, the group call data of the first group call session is stopped, and the first group call session interruption response may also be returned.
- the terminal B receives the group call data of the second group call session.
- the terminal B is the initiator of the first group call session, optionally, the terminal B stops sending the group after receiving the group call data of the second group call session or receiving the first group call session interruption instruction.
- a group calls the group call data, and can also return the first group call session interrupt response.
- the initiator of the first group of call sessions does not send the first group call session through the data channel after comparing that the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session.
- Group call data Since the current neighbor group call communication supports only one group call session, multiple group call sessions are not supported in parallel. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the initiator of the first group of call sessions does not send the first group call session through the data channel after comparing that the priority of the second group call session is higher than the priority of the first group call session. Abstract
