Abstract

L'invention concerne la structure d'un élément de protection qui peut être utilisé pour la protection contre la contrefaçon de produits et de documents de formes diverses, comme des documents d'identité, des billets de banque, des chèques, des timbres fiscaux, des tickets et ainsi de suite. L'élément de protection comprend une base faite d'un matériau plastique transparent et une couche informative d'un film comprenant des informations texte et/ou graphiques ; selon l'invention, une section au moins de la couche informative de film comprend une biréfringence induite et se présente sous forme d'informations texte et/ou graphiques pouvant être visualisées à l'aide d'un décodeur de polarisation optique. L'invention permet de réaliser un élément de protection qui est mieux protégé contre les contrefaçons et la reproduction non autorisée grâce à la formation dans celui-ci, en qualité de marquant rendant difficile sa contrefaçon, de sections comprenant une biréfringence induite sous forme d'informations texte et/ou graphiques pouvant être visualisées uniquement à l'aide d'un décodeur de polarisation optique.
