Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit carrier (10), particularly a circuit board (11), that has at least one receiving portion (21) arranged in a receiving region (20) for an electrical connection element (12). According to the invention, the receiving portion (21) is designed to be a groove-shaped, preferably slit-shaped receiving portion (21) that extends from a lateral surface (22) of the circuit carrier (10) and comprises an insertion region (23), which is open towards said lateral surface (22), for said electrical connection element (12), as well as a groove base region (24) on the side which faces away from the insertion region (23).
