Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil portable permettant le traitement de l'eau. L'appareil portable comprend une tige allongée. La tige allongée comprend en outre une matrice de tampon couplée à un support de tampon. La matrice de tampon peut comprendre au moins un désinfectant et peut être rechargée pendant un certain nombre de fois au moment d'une nouvelle insertion dans un boîtier. Le boîtier recharge la matrice de tampon au moyen d'un comprimé chimique, d'une membrane perméable et d'un moyen élastique. La matrice de tampon couplée à la tige allongée est mélangée dans l'eau et libère dans l'eau une quantité prédéfinie de désinfectant de telle sorte que le désinfectant libéré maintienne une concentration prédéfinie et inactive la contamination microbienne présente dans l'eau.
