- a medical connector for opening and closing a container (hereinafter referred to as a medical container) in which a chemical solution such as an infusion solution is enclosed is known (for example, see Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- a medical connector seals a medical container when not in use, and is connected to another connector, syringe, or the like when in use, thereby allowing fluid communication between the inside and outside of the container via these members.
- the chemical solution can be taken out of the container.
- a member shown as the valve body 6 functions as a valve body that opens and closes the communication port of the connector.
- the valve body for opening and closing the communication port of the connector is made of a material such as highly flexible rubber.
- the valve body is pushed and deformed by another member inserted from the outside with respect to the port of the medical container, so that liquid communication is possible from the closed state that restricts the liquid communication inside and outside the medical container. It will be in the open state. That is, in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the valve body is opened by deformation such as expansion or bending.
- a connector having an opening / closing structure that relies on deformation such as expansion and bending of the valve body as in Patent Documents 1 and 2 may increase the manufacturing cost if not impossible.
- the deformation characteristics of rubber and other materials depend on the temperature conditions, but in order to manufacture products that reliably open and close the valve body under various temperature conditions, it is necessary to set a narrow tolerance for manufacturing errors. Because there is no.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a medical connector that opens and closes a medical container with reduced manufacturing costs, a medical connector assembly including the medical connector, and a medical container with a connector.
- a medical connector is a connector that is attached to a container in which a chemical solution is enclosed and is opened by a male member to enable fluid communication between the inside and outside of the container.
- a valve body is formed with a through hole extending in the vertical direction.
- the valve body is disposed in the through-hole, and is pushed by the male member inserted into the through-hole from the outside of the container, so that the fluid communication between the inside and outside of the container is controlled from the closed position. It moves without deformation along the through-hole to an open position that allows internal and external liquid communication.
- the "vertical direction” is defined as the upward direction of the outer side of the medical container along the through hole of the valve seat, and the downward direction as the direction toward the inner side. It does not depend on the vertical vertical direction when the medical connector is used.
- the valve body is moved from the closed position that regulates the fluid communication inside and outside the medical container. Move to an open position that allows internal and external fluid communication. That is, the shape of the valve body in the closed position is substantially the same as the shape in the open position. Therefore, since the open / close structure depending on deformation such as expansion and bending of the valve body as in the prior art is not employed here, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

- the step portion D1 is located at the lower end of the cap 12, and the step portion D2 is located in the middle of the main body portion 11.
- the main body portion 11 is provided with a tapered portion 11a that is disposed below the step portion D2 and that defines a tapered opening (corresponding to the through-hole 2a) that extends downward.
- the tapered portion 11a is pressure-bonded to the skirt portion 24 of the valve body 20 when the stepped portion D3 of the valve body 20 is caught on the stepped portion D1 of the cap 12 (FIG. 3A). reference). And by this pressure bonding, the through-hole 2a is closed and the liquid communication inside and outside the infusion bag 3 is regulated.
- a state in which the valve body 20 is in the closed position is referred to as a closed state.
- the stepped portions D1 and D3 and the skirt portion 24 are made of plastic, and the tapered portion 11a is a rubber-like elastic body. Therefore, in the closed state, the plastic stepped portion D3 is hooked on the plastic stepped portion D1, so that the valve body 20 is reliably prevented from moving, and the plastic skirt portion 24 is elastically elastic. By tightly contacting the tapered portion 11a of the body, a solid closed state of the infusion bag 3 can be realized.
- the above-described notch 20a formed in the valve body 20 functions as an infusion flow path connecting the inside and outside of the infusion bag 3. Specifically, as is apparent from the above, this flow passage passes through the space formed in the center of the trunk body 23 and the head 22 from the opening formed on the side surfaces of the trunk body 23 and the head 22. Thus, it is configured to reach an opening formed in the upper surface of the head 22.
- the valve body 20 is formed with an infusion flow path that extends from the side surface of the body portion 21 to the upper surface of the head portion 22. Further, the opening formed on the side surface of the trunk body 23 is positioned above the contact portion between the tapered portion 11 a and the skirt portion 24 in the closed state.
- the opening on the side surface of the trunk body 23 is not opened to the internal space of the infusion bag 3 closed from the outside due to the close contact between the tapered portion 11 a and the skirt portion 24.
- the opening on the side surface of the trunk body 23 is opened with respect to the internal space of the infusion bag 3.
- the internal space of the infusion bag 3, the opening on the side surface of the trunk body 23, the opening on the top surface of the head 22, and the outside of the infusion bag 3 are sequentially communicated, and the infusion solution can flow through the path. It becomes.
- the male connector 4 includes a main body case 31 and a cylindrical member 40 penetrating substantially the center of the main body case 31.
- the main body case 31 is a member that connects two large and small cylindrical cups 31a and 31b so that their central axes are aligned. More specifically, an opening is formed in a portion corresponding to the bottom surface portion of the larger cylindrical cup 31a, and the edge of the smaller cylindrical cup 31b is surrounded by the opening. The site
- the two large and small cylindrical cups 31a and 31b and the cylindrical member 40 are integrally formed and are made of hard plastic.
- the cylindrical member 40 has an inner cylindrical member 41 arranged inside the main body case 31 and an outer cylindrical member 42 arranged outside the main body case 31. As shown in FIG. 8C, the lower portion 41a of the inner cylindrical member 41 has a smaller cross-sectional diameter than the upper portion 41b above the lower portion 41a. Therefore, the inner cylindrical member 41 has a step along the entire circumferential direction. Part D5 is formed. The step portion D5 has a shape in which the upper side protrudes radially outward and the lower side retracts radially inward.
- the connector assembly 5 is not limited to this, but as a typical application, it is used for infusion of an infusion to a patient. Therefore, the cross-sectional diameter of the outer cylindrical member 42 is preferably a size that can be inserted into an infusion tube made of soft vinyl or the like.
- the male and female connectors 2 and 4 are connected to each other. Then, when the male and female connectors 2 and 4 are connected, as shown in FIG. 9, the exterior body 14 of the female connector 2 is inserted into the cup 31a of the main body case 31 of the male connector 4, and accordingly, A part of the inner cylindrical member 41 is inserted into the through hole 2 a of the female connector 2. Accordingly, the portion of the inner cylindrical member 41 that is inserted into the through-hole 2a has substantially the same shape as the through-hole 2a, and the portion of the inner cylindrical member 41 contacts the surface that defines the through-hole 2a. The through hole 2a is firmly inserted.
- the stepped portion D5 of the inner cylindrical member 41 is changed to the stepped portion D3 of the valve body 20. Instead, the stepped part D1 is firmly contacted and caught. Accordingly, at this time, the upper portion 41b of the inner cylindrical member 41 is in firm contact with the above-described surface S1 that defines the opening at the center of the cap 12.
- the inner diameter of the cup 31a of the main body case 31 is substantially equal to the maximum outer diameter of the outer body 14 of the female connector 2, and the outer body 14 is firmly inserted into the main body case 31 when the male and female connectors 2 and 4 are connected. . At this time, that is, in the open state, the upper surface of the outer package 14 contacts a portion corresponding to the bottom surface of the cup 31b.
- a plurality of (four in the present embodiment) lock claws 36a to 36d provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction on the cup 31a are hooked on the step portion D4 of the exterior body 14, and the exterior body 14 Is pressed from below.
- the exterior body 14 and by extension, the entire female connector 2 are firmly supported so as not to be detached from the male connector 4.
- Each of the lock claws 36a to 36d has a shaft portion that is supported only in the upper part of four openings formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the cup 31a and a lower end of the shaft portion on the radially inner side. And a claw portion extending toward the top.
- the head portion 22 of the valve body 20 is pressed downward by the lower portion 41a of the inner cylindrical member 41 inserted into the through-hole 2a. Accordingly, the inner surface of the tip of the lower portion 41a of the inner cylindrical member 41 is formed in a tapered shape that extends downward so that the truncated cone-shaped head 22 can be easily received.
- the valve body 20 that is an elastic body, the cap 12 of the valve seat 10 that is in contact with the valve body 20, the main body portion 11 and the like are appropriately elastically deformed. And the level
- the valve body 20 is not deformed before and after the drop off, but here, “not deformed” means that the shape of the valve body 20 is not deformed (differed) between the closed state and the open state. Temporarily elastic deformation in the process of moving to a state is not excluded. Then, the valve body 20 that has been hooked and fixed on the stepped portion D1 of the valve seat 10 before dropping is hooked on the stepped portion D2 of the valve seat 10 and then fixed again.
- the pressure-bonded state between the tapered portion 11a of the valve seat 10 and the skirt portion 24 of the valve body 20 is released.
- a flow path is formed in which the internal space of the infusion bag 3, the notch 20 a of the valve body 20, and the internal space of the cylindrical member 40 are formed in this order, and the infusion is transferred from the infusion bag 3 through the flow path. It can be taken out and supplied to a patient or the like via an infusion tube or the like attached to the outer cylindrical member 42.
- valve body 20 is not deformed, and moves along the through-hole 2a in the through-hole 2a formed in the valve seat 10, thereby closing the liquid communication between the inside and outside of the infusion bag 3. From the position, the liquid bag 3 moves to an open position that allows fluid communication inside and outside the infusion bag 3. That is, the shape of the valve body 20 in the closed position and the shape in the open position are substantially the same. Therefore, here, an opening / closing structure that requires deformation such as expansion or bending of the valve body 20 is avoided, and an opening / closing structure that suppresses an increase in manufacturing cost is realized.
- the infusion bag 3 is the target to which the female connector 2 is attached, but the female connector 2 can be used to open and close medical containers in which various drugs are sealed.
- the medical container does not need to be a soft bag, and may be a container made of hard plastic or the like whose shape does not change.
- the female connector 2 can be used in combination with the male connector 4 having any shape as long as the female connector 2 has a shape capable of pressing the valve body 20 downward in the through-hole 2a and opening the through-hole 2a.
- a shape capable of feeding a chemical solution in a state of being fixed to the female connector 2 as it is after the through-hole 2a is opened is preferable, but only such a shape is assumed. It is not done.

Abstract
