 無線通信装置によるGPS測位においては、AGPS(Assisted GPS)方式が用いられる。AGPS方式とは、GPS衛星の軌道情報や現在時刻情報などの、GPS測位に必要なアシストデータを無線通信装置が通信ネットワークから取得し、そのアシストデータを用いてGPS信号に基づく測位を行う方式である。
 AGPS方式では、無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、アシストデータを管理するAGPSサーバが、GPS測位を要求する旨を示すSMS(Short Message Service)メッセージを、緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に送信する。無線通信装置は、そのSMSメッセージを受信すると、自動的に通信ネットワークとのPS(Packet Switching)接続を確立してアシストデータをAGPSサーバから取得し、取得したアシストデータを用いてGPS測位を行う。以下では、SMSメッセージを用いたAGPSサーバからの要求に応じて行われるGPS測位を、SMS-PUSH契機によるGPS測位と称する。
 近年、GPS機能を有するスマートフォンの中に、SMS-PUSH契機によるGPS測位に対応していないものがあることが判明し、問題となっている。
 上述した問題に対して、半径数百メートルから数キロメートル程度の通信エリア(マクロセル)を構築するマクロセル用基地局を備えた既存の3G-Macro網においては、SMS-PUSH契機によるGPS測位に対応していない無線通信装置にも緊急呼の発信時にGPS測位を行わせる技術が検討されている。この技術においては、SMS-PUSH契機によるGPS測位に対応していない無線通信装置が緊急呼を発信すると、AGPSサーバは、その無線通信装置の測位要求を、マクロセル用基地局を管理するRNC(Radio Network Controller)に送信する。RNCは、RRC(Radio Resource Control)と称されるプロトコルに従い無線通信装置を制御可能であり、AGPSサーバからの測位要求を受信すると、AGPSサーバとの通信によりアシストデータを取得し、緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に取得したアシストデータを用いたGPS信号に基づく測位を行わせる。

 近年、3G-Macro網だけでなく、半径数十メートル程度の通信エリア(フェムトセル)を構築するフェムトセル用基地局をIMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)網に導入した3G-Femto網をも含む通信システムの開発が進められている(特許文献2(国際公開第2010/074033号パンフレット)参照)。このような通信システムにおいては、既存のシステム構成はできるだけ変更せずに、3G-Femto網を構築することが求められる。
 3G-Femto網においては、無線通信装置が緊急呼を発信した際に位置情報を通知させる技術について十分な検討が行われていない。ここで、上述した3G-Macro網で検討されている技術を3G-Femto網に応用することが考えられる。すなわち、RRCに従い無線通信装置を制御可能なフェムトセル用基地局が、AGPSサーバとの通信によりアシストデータを取得し、緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に取得したアシストデータを用いてGPS測位を行わせることが考えられる。しかし、一般に、3G-Macro網と3G-Femto網とでは用いられるプロトコルが異なるため、AGPSサーバがフェムトセル用基地局と通信を行うには、3G-Femto網で用いられるプロトコルを処理する機能をAGPSサーバに追加するなどの、既存のシステム構成の変更が必要となってしまう。
 本発明の目的は、3G-Femto網を有する通信システムにおいて、既存のシステム構成の変更を抑制しつつ、緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置にGPS測位を行わせることができる通信システム、フェムトセル用基地局、ゲートウェイ装置、および、制御方法を提供することにある。
 上記目的を達成するために本発明の通信システムは、
 GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと、IMS網に設けられ、通信エリア内の前記無線通信装置と通信を行うフェムトセル用基地局と、を備え、
 前記IMS網には、前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記サーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する変換手段が設けられ、
 前記フェムトセル用基地局は、前記無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、該緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置の測位要求が入力されると、前記変換手段を介した前記サーバとの通信により前記アシストデータを取得し、前記緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に前記取得したアシストデータを用いた前記GPS信号に基づく測位を行わせる。
 上記目的を達成するために本発明のフェムトセル用基地局は、
 GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局であって、
 前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する、前記IMS網の設けられたゲートウェイ装置と通信する通信部と、
 前記無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、該緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置の測位要求が入力されると、前記ゲートウェイ装置を介した前記サーバとの通信により前記アシストデータを取得し、前記緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に前記取得したアシストデータを用いた前記GPS信号に基づく測位を行わせる制御部と、を有する。
 上記目的を達成するために本発明のゲートウェイ装置は、
 IMS網に設けられ、メッセージの転送を行うゲートウェイ装置であって、
 GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、前記IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局と通信を行う第1の通信部と、
 前記前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと通信を行う第2の通信部と、
 前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記サーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前第1の通信部および前記第2の通信部の一方がメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方の通信部の通信先が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して他方の通信部に送信させる変換部と、を有する。
 上記目的を達成するために本発明のフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法は、
 GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法であって、
 前記無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、該緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置の測位要求が入力されると、前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する、前記IMS網の設けられたゲートウェイ装置を介した前記サーバとの通信により前記アシストデータを取得し、
 前記緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に前記取得したアシストデータを用いて前記GPS信号に基づく測位を行わせる。
 上記目的を達成するために本発明のゲートウェイ装置の制御方法は、
 GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、前記IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局、および、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと通信可能であり、前記IMS網に設けられたゲートウェイ装置の制御方法であって、
 前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する。
 本発明によれば、3G-Femto網を有する通信システムにおいて、既存のシステム構成の変更を抑制しつつ、緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置にGPS測位を行わせることができる。

 以下に、本発明を実施するための形態について図面を参照して説明する。
 図1は、本発明の一実施形態の通信システム100の要部構成を示す図である。
 通信システム100は、UE(User Equipment)110と、GMLC(Gateway Mobile Location Centre)120と、AGPS130と、3G-Macro網140と、3G-Femto網150と、を有する。
 UE110は、3G-Macro網140、および、3G-Femto網150に接続可能な無線通信装置である。また、UE110は、図1においては不図示のGPS衛星からGPS信号を受信し、受信したGPS信号に基づき測位(GPS測位)を行うGPS機能を備える。
 GMLC120は、緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置情報を緊急機関200に通知するサーバである。
 AGPS130は、UE110がGPS測位を行うためのアシストデータを管理するサーバである。また、AGPS130は、緊急呼を発信したUE110の測位要求がGMLC120から入力されると、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位をそのUE110に行わせる。
 3G-Macro網140は、既存の3G網である。3G-Macro網140は、NB(Node-B)101と、RNC142と、MSC(Mobile Switching Center)143と、HLR(Home Location Register)144と、SGW(Serving Gateway)145と、を有する。なお、図1においては、図の簡略化のため、各ノードを1つずつ記載しているが、通常、各ノードはそれぞれ複数設けられる。
 NB141は、半径数百メートルから数キロメートル程度の通信エリア(マクロセル)を構築するマクロセル用基地局であり、通信エリア内のUE110と通信を行う。
 RNC142は、複数のNB141を制御し、発着信制御、終話制御、ハンドオーバ制御などを行う。また、RNC142は、緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位に対応していない(SMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能でない)場合には、AGPS130との通信によりアシストデータを取得し、取得したアシストデータを用いて緊急呼を発信したUE110にアシストデータを用いたGPS測位を行わせる。この場合、RNC142とAGPS130との間では、PCAP(Positioning Calculation Application Part)と呼ばれるプロトコルに従い、通信が行われる。
 MSC143は、呼の接続制御、サービス制御などを行う交換局である。
 HLR144は、携帯電話番号やUE110の端末識別情報などの加入者情報を管理する。
 SGW145は、UE110が接続する通信網に応じて、AGPS130から入力されたメッセージを3G-Macro網140あるいは3G-Femto網150に出力する。
 NB141、RNC142、MSC143、HLR144、および、SGW145はそれぞれ、3GPPに準拠した処理を行う装置であるため、これらの装置の具体的な構成および動作については記載を省略する。3G-Macro網140に利用されている技術については、例えば、3GPP TS 23.060などに開示されている。
 3G-Femto網150は、フェムトセル用基地局をIMS網に導入した通信網である。3G-Femto網150は、FAP(Femto Access Point)151と、PDG(Packet Data Gateway)152と、AAA(Authentication Authorization Accounting)153と、P-CSCF(Proxy-Call Session Control Function)154と、S-CSCF(Serving-CSCF)155と、HSS(Home Subscriber Server)156と、IPSMGW(IP Short Message Gateway)157と、MGCF/MGW(Media Gateway Control Function/Media Gateway)158と、PCAPGW(Positioning Calculation Application Part Gateway)159と、を有する。なお、図1においては、図の簡略化のため、各ノードを1つだけ記載しているが、通常、各ノードはそれぞれ複数設けられる。
 FAP151は、マクロセルよりも狭い、半径数十メートル程度の通信エリア(フェムトセル)を構築するフェムトセル用基地局であり、通信エリア内のUE110と通信を行う。
 PDG152は、FAP151とコア側との間でメッセージを中継する。
 AAA153は、UE110の認証などを行う。
 P-CSCF154およびS-CSCF155は、3G-Femto網150内で用いられるプロトコルである、SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)を用いたセッション制御、管理、認証、および、ルーティングなどの処理を行う。P-CSCF154は、UE110との間で、セキュリティ制御などを行う。S-CSCF155は、UE110に提供するサービスの制御などを行う。
 HSS156は、UE110の加入者情報をHLR144から取得し、管理する。
 IPSMGW157は、SMSメッセージの配信制御などを行う。
 MGCF/MGW158は、3G-Femto網150と既存の電話網とを接続する。
 PCAPGW159は、変換手段の一例である。PCAPGW159は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、および、PDG152を介してFAP151と通信可能であるとともに、AGPS130と通信可能である。PCAPGW159は、FAP151が処理可能な第1のプロトコルであるSIPのメッセージ(SIPメッセージ)と、AGPS130が処理可能な第2のプロトコルであるPCAPのメッセージ(PCAPメッセージ)と、を相互に変換可能である。PCAPGW159は、FAP151およびAGPS130のうち一方からメッセージを受信すると、そのメッセージを他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する。
 次に、FAP151、PCAPGW159、および、AGPS130の構成について説明する。なお、図1に示す他のノードの構成は当業者にとってよく知られているため、説明を省略する。
 まず、FAP151の構成について説明する。
 図2は、FAP151の要部構成を示すブロック図である。
 FAP151は、通信部201と、制御部202と、を有する。
 通信部201は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、および、S-CSCF155を介して、PCAPGW159と通信する。上述したように、PCAPGW159は、FAP151とAGPS130との間でメッセージの転送処理を行うため、通信部201は、PCAPGW159を介してAGPS130と通信することができる。
 制御部202は、緊急呼を発信したUE110のGPS測位要求が入力されると、通信部201にPCAPGW159を介したAGPS130との通信を行わせてアシストデータを取得し、緊急呼を発信したUE110に取得したアシストデータを用いてGPS測位を行わせる。
 次に、PCAPGW159の構成について説明する。
 図3は、PCAPGW159の要部構成を示すブロック図である。
 PCAPGW159は、SIPインタフェース部301と、PCAPインタフェース部302と、変換部303と、を有する。SIPインタフェース部301は、第1の通信部の一例であり、PCAPインタフェース部302は、第2の通信部の一例である。
 SIPインタフェース部301は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、および、PDG152を介してFAP151と通信する。SIPインタフェース部301は、SIPメッセージをFAP151から受信すると、そのSIPメッセージを変換部303に出力する。また、SIPインタフェース部301は、変換部303からSIPメッセージが出力されると、そのSIPメッセージをFAP151に送信する。
 PCAPインタフェース部302は、AGPS130と通信する。PCAPインタフェース部302は、PCAPメッセージをAGPS130から受信すると、そのPCAPメッセージを変換部303に出力する。また、PCAPインタフェース部302は、変換部303からPCAPメッセージが出力されると、そのPCAPメッセージをAGPS130に送信する。
 変換部303は、SIPインタフェース部301からSIPメッセージが入力されると、そのSIPメッセージをPCAPメッセージに変換してPCAPインタフェース部302に出力する。また、変換部303は、PCAPインタフェース部302からPCAPメッセージが入力されると、そのPCAPメッセージをSIPメッセージに変換してSIPインタフェース部301に出力する。
 次に、AGPS130の構成について説明する。
 図4は、AGPS130の要部構成を示すブロック図である。
 AGPS130は、通信部401と、制御部402と、を有する。
 通信部401は、SGW145やPCAPGW159と通信する。上述したように、PCAPGW159は、FAP151とAGPS130との間でメッセージの転送処理を行うため、通信部401は、PCAPGW159を介してFAP151と通信することができる。
 制御部402は、緊急呼を発信したUE110の測位要求がGMLC120から入力されると、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位をそのUE110に行わせる。ここで、制御部402は、緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位に対応しているか否かを判定する。制御部402は、通信網との通信確立時にUE110から送信されるメッセージに含まれる、そのUE110の種別を示す識別子に基づき、そのUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位に対応している否かを判定する。
 緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPSに対応している場合には、制御部402は、そのUE110のGPS測位を要求する旨を示すSMSメッセージを、緊急呼を発信したUE110に送信する。
 一方、緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPSに対応していない場合には、制御部402は、通信部401に、GPS測位要求(MAP-PSL(MAP-Provide Subscriber Location(High Priority))をSGW145へ送信させる。ここで、GPS測位要求には、MSC143あるいはIPSMGW157を識別するためのMSC Numberが含まれている。SGW145に送信されたGPS測位要求は、そのGPS測位要求に含まれるMSC Numberに応じて、MSC143またはIPSMGW157に転送される。そのため、制御部402(AGPS130)から見ると、緊急呼を発信したUE110が3G-Macro網140に接続しているか、3G-Femto網150に接続しているかに関わらず、GPS測位要求をSGW145に送信すればよいことになる。
 次に、本実施形態の通信システム100の動作について説明する。なお、本発明は主に、UE110が3G-Femto網150に接続している状態で緊急呼を発信した場合に、そのUE110に如何にしてGPS測位を行わせるかに関するものである。そのため、UE110が3G-Macro網140に接続している状態で緊急呼を発信した場合の動作については説明を省略する。
 図5A,5Bは、3G-Femto網150へのUE110の位置登録後、そのUE110が緊急呼を発信した場合の動作を示すシーケンス図である。なお、図5Bは、図5Aに続くシーケンス図である。
 図5Aを参照すると、UE110は、FAP151が構築する通信エリア内に移動すると、位置登録を開始する。なお、UE110の3G-Macro網140への位置登録は完了しているものとする。
 UE110は、位置登録要求(Location Update Request)をFAP151に送信する(ステップA1)。
 FAP151は、UE110から位置登録要求を受信すると、UE110の認証要求をPDG152に送信する。この認証要求は、PDG152、AAA153、HSS156を介して、HLR144に送信される(ステップA2)。
 HLR144は、UE110の認証要求を受信すると、そのUE110に対応する認証情報を取得する。なお、認証情報の具体例としては、例えば、RAND/AUTH/CK/IK/XRESがある。RAND/AUTH/CK/IK/XRESはそれぞれ、3GPPに準拠した情報である。RANDは、Random Challengeである。AUTHは、Authentication Tokenである。CKは、Cipher Keyである。IKは、Integrity Keyである。XRESは、Exprected RESponseである。
 HLR144は、取得した認証情報を含む認証要求応答をHSS156に送信する。この認証要求応答は、HSS156、AAA153、PDG152を介してFAP151に送信される(ステップA3)。
 FAP151は、認証要求に対する認証要求応答を受信すると、その認証要求応答に含まれる認証情報のうち、RAND/AUTHを含む認証結果をUE110に送信する(ステップA4)。
 UE110は、FAP151から認証結果を受信すると、その認証結果に含まれるRAND/AUTHに基づいて、3GPPに準拠した方法により認証演算を行う。そして、UE110は、演算結果を含む認証結果応答をFAP151に送信する(ステップA5)。
 UE110による認証演算の結果は、FAP151およびPDG152を介してAAA153に送信される。AAA153は、認証演算の結果に基づいて、3GPPに準拠した方法によりUE110の認証を行う。AAA153は、UE110の認証に成功すると、その旨を示すメッセージを、PDG152を介してFAP151に送信する。なお、図5Aにおいては、AAA153によるUE110の認証に関して送受信されるメッセージについては、記載を省略している。
 FAP151は、AAA153からUE110の認証に成功した旨を示すメッセージを受信すると、UE110の位置登録要求をPDG152に送信する。この位置登録要求は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155、HSS156を介して、HLR144に送信される(ステップA6)。
 HLR144は、UE110の位置登録要求を受信すると、そのUE110の加入者情報を含む位置登録応答をHSS156に送信する。この位置登録応答は、HSS156、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介してFAP151に送信される(ステップA7)。なお、HSS156は、位置登録応答に含まれるUE110の加入者情報を取得し、図1においては不図示のVLR(Visitor Location Register)に登録する。
 FAP151は、位置登録要求に対する位置登録応答を受信すると、位置登録応答をUE110に送信する(ステップA8)。
 上述したステップA1からステップA8の処理により、UE110の位置登録が完了する。
 次に、緊急呼を発信する旨が入力されると、UE110は、緊急呼発信要求(Emergency Setup)をFAP151に送信する(ステップA9)。
 FAP151は、UE110から緊急呼発信要求を受信すると、通話要求(SIP:INVITE)をPDG152に送信する。この通話要求は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、MGCF/MGW158に送信される(ステップA10)。
 MGCF/MGW158は、通話要求を受信すると、緊急機関への呼設定を行う(ステップA11)。なお、通話要求には、発信先の電話番号が含まれており、MGCF/MGW158は、通話要求に含まれる電話番号に基づいて発信先を判定することができる。緊急機関への呼設定を行うと、MGCF/MGW158は、緊急呼発信応答をS-CSCF155に送信する。この緊急呼発信応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA12)。
 FAP151は、緊急呼発信応答を受信すると、緊急呼発信応答をUE110に送信する(ステップA13)。
 S-CSCF155は、MGCF/MGW158から緊急呼発信応答を受信すると、緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置を大雑把に示す簡易位置情報を含む簡易位置情報通知(TCP(GEO))をHSS156に送信する(ステップA14)。なお、簡易位置情報は、セル測位により得られる。
 HSS156は、S-CSCF155から簡易位置情報通知を受信すると、簡易位置情報通知(MAP-SLR(Subscriber Location Report))をGMLC120に送信する(ステップA15)。この簡易位置情報通知には、S-CSCF155から受信した簡易位置情報通知に含まれる簡易位置情報が含まれる。
 GMLC120は、HSS156から簡易位置情報通知を受信すると、その簡易位置情報通知に対する受信応答(MAP-SLRack)をHSS156に送信する(ステップA16)。また、GMLC120は、簡易位置情報通知を緊急機関200に送信する(ステップA17)。この簡易位置情報通知には、HSS156から受信した簡易位置情報通知に含まれる簡易位置情報が含まれる。
 次に、GMLC120は、緊急呼を発信したUE110のGPS測位要求をAGPS130に送信する(ステップA18)。このGPS測位要求には、HSS156から受信した簡易位置情報通知に含まれる簡易位置情報が含まれる。この簡易位置情報に基づいて、AGPS130は、緊急呼を発信したUE110によるGPS測位に必要なアシストデータ(緊急呼を発信したUE110が受信可能なGPS信号を送信するGPS衛星の軌道情報など)を特定することができる。
 AGPS130は、GMLC120から緊急呼を発信したUE110のGPS測位要求を受信すると、そのUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能であるか否かを判定する。上述したように、AGPS130は、通信網との通信確立時にUE110から送信されてきたメッセージに含まれる、そのUE110の種別を示す識別子に基づき、そのUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能であるか否かを判定する。なお、AGPS130は、例えば、UEの種別ごとに、そのUEがSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能であるか否かを示すデータベースを保持しており、そのデータベースを用いて、緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能であるか否かを判定することができる。また、そのデータベースをAGPS130とは別のサーバで管理し、AGPS130が、そのサーバに問い合わせるようにしてもよい。
 緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能である場合には、AGPS130は、GPS測位を要求する旨を示すSMSメッセージをUE110に送信する。UE110は、SMSメッセージを受信すると、3G-Femto網150とのPS接続を確立し、AGPS130からアシストデータを取得してGPS測位を行う。なお、SMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位の詳細に関しては、本発明と直接関係しないため説明を省略する。以下では、緊急呼を発信したUE110は、SMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能でないものとする。
 緊急呼を発信したUE110がSMS-PUSH契機のGPS測位が可能でない場合には、AGPS130は、そのUE110と通信するFAP151に至るルーティング情報の送信要求(MAP-SRI for SM(MAP-SEND ROUTING INFO FOR SM)を、SGW145を介してHLR144に送信する(ステップA19)。
 HLR144は、AGPS130からルーティング情報の送信要求を受信すると、その送信要求に応じたルーティング情報を含む要求応答をAGPS130に送信する(ステップA20)。ここで、HLR144は、緊急呼を発信したUE110が接続する通信網に応じたMSC Numberをルーティング情報に含める。具体的には、HLR144は、緊急呼を発信したUE110が3G-Macro網140に接続する場合には、そのUE110の接続先に対応するMSC143を示すMSC Numberをルーティング情報に含める、また、HLR144は、緊急呼を発信したUE110が3G-Femto網150に接続する場合には、そのUE110の接続先に対応するIPMSGW157を示すMSC Numberをルーティング情報に含める。
 AGPS130は、HLR144から要求応答を受信すると、GPS測位要求(MAP-PSL(High Priority)をSGW145に送信する。ここで、AGPS130は、HLR144から受信したルーティング情報に含まれるMSC NumberをGPS測位要求に含めて送信する。SGW145は、GPS測位要求に含まれるMSC NumberがIPSMGW157を示すものであるため、AGPS130から送信されてきたGPS測位要求をIPSMGW157に転送する(ステップA21)。
 IPSMGW157は、GPS測位要求を受信すると、GPS測位要求(SIP:MESSAGE(Location Report Request)をS-CSCF155に送信する。このGPS測位要求は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA22)。
 図5Bを参照すると、FAP151は、GPS測位要求を受信すると、そのGPS測位要求に対する受諾応答(SIP:202)をPDG152に送信する。この受諾応答は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、IPSMGW157に送信される(ステップA23)。次に、FAP151は、ページングを行い、緊急呼を発信したUE110との通信を確立する。なお、FAP151とUE110とが通信中であれば、ページングによるUE110との通信の確立は不要である。
 次に、FAP151は、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位の開始を要求する旨を示す測位開始要求をSIPに従い生成する。
 図6は、SIPメッセージの概略構成を示す図である。
 図6に示すように、SIPメッセージは、Request-Line部と、Message-Header部と、Message-Body部と、から構成される。
 Request-Line部には、メッセージの種別などを示す情報が設定される。
 Message-Header部には、メッセージの発信元や発信先などの情報が設定される。
 Message-Body部は、SIPメッセージの本文部である。
 なお、各部に含まれるパラメータの具体的な内容については記載を省略する。
 FAP151は、SIPメッセージのMessage-Body部に、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位の開始を要求する旨をPCAPにより示す情報を設定する。具体的には、FAP151は、図6に示すように、測位開始要求のMessage-Body部に、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位の開始を要求する旨をPCAPにより示す情報(00 09 xx xx..xx(PCAP-Position-Initiation-Req))を設定する。
 図5Bを再び参照すると、FAP151は、Message-Body部に情報(00 09 xx xx..xx(PCAP-Position-Initiation-Req))を設定した測位開始要求(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation Req))をPDG152に送信する。この測位開始要求は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、PCAPGW159に送信される(ステップA24)。
 PCAPGW159は、測位開始要求を受信すると、その測位開始要求に対する受諾応答(SIP:202)をS-CSCF155に送信する。この受諾応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA25)。
 次に、PCAPGW159は、受信した測位開始要求(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Initiation-Req))をPCAPメッセージに変換する。具体的には、PCAPGW159は、図7に示すように、SCCP(Signaling Connenction Control Part)と称される信号伝送方式の、データフォーマットがDT1であるメッセージ(SCCP-DT1)のDATA部に、受信した測位開始要求のMessage-Body部に設定された、アシストデータを用いたGPS測位の開始を要求する旨をPCAPにより示す情報(00  09 xx  xx..xx(PCAP-Position-Initiation-Req))を設定する。こうすることで、PCAPGW159は、SIPによる測位開始要求を、AGPS130が処理可能なプロトコルであるPCAPによる測位開始要求(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Req)に変換する。なお、SCCP-DT1に含まれる各項目の具体的な内容については、本発明と直接関係しないため、説明を省略する。
 図5Bを再び参照すると、PCAPGW159は、生成した測位開始要求(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Req)をAGPS130に送信する(ステップA26)。
 AGPS130は、PCAPGW159から測位開始要求を受信すると、緊急呼を発信したUE110によるGPS測位に必要なアシストデータを含み、UE110によるGPS測位処理を要求する旨をPCAPにより示す測位処理要求(PCAP:Position-Activation-Req)を生成する。具体的には、AGPS130は、図8に示すように、SCCP-DT1メッセージのData部に、UE110によるGPS測位処理を要求する旨をPCAPにより示す情報(00 0a xx xx..xx(PCAP:Position-Activation-Req))を設定する。
 図5Bを再び参照すると、AGPS130は、生成した測位処理要求(PCAP:Position-Activation-Req)をPCAPGW159に送信する(ステップA27)。
 PCAPGW159は、AGPS130から測位処理要求(PCAP:Position-Activation-Req)を受信すると、その測位処理要求をSIPに従ったメッセージに変換する。具体的には、PCAPGW159は、図7に示す、測位処理要求(PCAP:Position-Activation-Req)のData部に設定された情報(00 0a xx  xx..xx(PCAP-Activation-Req))を、図9に示すように、SIPメッセージのMessage-Body部に設定する。こうすることで、PCAPGW159は、PCAPによる測位処理要求を、SIPによる測位処理要求(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Req))に変換する。
 図5Bを再び参照すると、PCAPGW159は、生成した測位処理要求(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Req))をS-CSCF155に送信する。この測位処理要求は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA28)。
 FAP151は、測位処理要求を受信すると、その測位処理要求に対する受諾応答(SIP:202)をPDG152に送信する。この受諾応答は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、PCAPGW159に送信される(ステップA29)。
 次に、FAP151は、受信した測位処理要求に含まれるアシストデータを取得し、緊急呼を発信したUE110に取得したアシストデータを用いたGPS測位を行わせ、位置情報をUE110から取得する。位置情報をUE110から取得すると、FAP151は、測位処理要求に対する要求応答を生成する。ここで、FAP151は、SIPメッセージのMessage-Body部に、測位処理要求に対する応答である旨をPCAPにより示す情報(20 0a xx xx xx..xx(PCAP-Position-Activation-Resp))を設定した要求応答(SIP:Message(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)を生成する。
 FAP151は、生成した要求応答(SIP:Message(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)をPDG152に送信する。この要求応答は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、PCAPGW159に送信される(ステップA30)。
 PCAPGW159は、測位処理要求に対する要求応答を受信すると、要求応答に対する受諾応答(SIP:202)をS-CSCF155に送信する。この受諾応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA31)。
 また、PCAPGW159は、FAP151から受信した要求応答(SIP:Message(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)をPCAPメッセージに変換する。具体的には、PCAPGW159は、SCCP-DT1メッセージのData部に、受信した要求応答のMessage-Body部に設定された情報(20 0a xx xx xx..xx(PCAP-Position-Activation-Resp))を設定する。こうすることで、PCAPGW159は、SIPによる測位処理要求に対する要求応答(SIP:Message(Body=PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)を、PCAPによる測位処理要求に対する要求応答(PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)に変換する。
 PCAPGW159は、生成した要求応答(PCAP:Position-Activation-Resp)をAGPS130に送信する(ステップA32)。
 AGPS130は、測位処理要求に対する要求応答を受信すると、測位開始要求に対する要求応答を生成する。ここで、AGPS130は、SCCP-DT1メッセージのData部に、測位開始要求に対する応答である旨をPCAPにより示す情報(20 09 xx xx..xx(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp))を設定した要求応答(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp)を生成する。
 次に、AGPS130は、生成した要求応答(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp)をPCAPGW159に送信する(ステップA33)。
 PCAPGW159は、AGPS130から要求応答(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp)を受信すると、その要求応答をSIPメッセージに変換する。具体的には、PCAPGW159は、測位開始要求に対する要求応答のData部に設定された情報(20 09 xx xx..xx(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp))を、SIPメッセージのMessage-Body部に設定する。こうすることで、PCAPGW159は、PCAPによる測位開始要求に対する要求応答(PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp)をSIPによる測位開始要求に対する要求応答(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp))に変換する。
 PCAPGW159は、生成した要求応答(SIP:MESSAGE(Body=PCAP:Position-Initiation-Resp))をS-CSCF155に送信する。この要求応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA34)。
 FAP151は、測位開始要求に対する要求応答を受信すると、その要求応答に対する受諾応答をPDG152に送信する。この受諾応答は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、PCAPGW159に送信される(ステップA35)。
 次に、FAP151は、UE110から取得した位置情報を含むGPS測位応答(SIP:MESSAGE(Location-Report-Answer)をPDG152に送信する。このGPS測位応答は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、IPSMGW157に送信される(ステップA36)。
 IPSMGW157は、GPS測位応答を受信すると、受諾応答(SIP:202)をS-CSCF155に送信する。この受諾応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップA37)。
 また、IPSMGW157は、GPS測位応答(MAP-PSLack(Location Estimate))を、SGW145を介して、AGPS130に送信する(ステップA38)。このGPS測位応答には、S-CSCF155から受信したGPS測位応答に含まれる位置情報が含まれる。
 AGPS130は、IPSMGW157からGPS測位応答を受信すると、GPS測位応答をGMLC120に送信する(ステップA39)。このGPS測位応答には、IPSMGW157から受信したGPS測位応答に含まれる位置情報が含まれる。
 GMLC120は、AGPS130からGPS測位応答を受信すると、そのGPS測位応答に含まれる位置情報を緊急機関200に通知する(ステップA40)。
 上述した、ステップA9からステップA40の処理により、緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置情報が緊急機関200に通知される。
 なお、図5Aおよび図5Bにおいては、3G-Femto網150へのUE110の位置登録後、そのUE110が緊急呼を発信した場合の動作について説明した。緊急呼を発信した際には、緊急呼の終話後に、GMLC120により強制的に緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置情報の取得が行われる場合がある。この場合の動作について、図10を参照して説明する。なお、図10においては、UE110の位置登録は既に完了しており、UE110は緊急呼を発信しているものとする。
 緊急呼を終話する旨が入力されると、UE110は、呼の切断処理を要求する旨を示す呼切断要求(CC:Disconnect)をFAP151に送信する(ステップB1)。
 FAP151は、UE110から呼切断要求を受信すると、呼切断要求(SIP:BYE)をPDG152に送信する。この呼切断要求は、PDG152、P-CSCF154、S-CSCF155を介して、MGCF/MGW158に送信される(ステップB2)。
 MGCF/MGW158は、呼切断要求を受信すると、緊急機関との呼接続を開放する(ステップB3)。また、MGCF/MGW158は、呼切断要求に対する呼切断応答をS-CSCF155に送信する。この呼切断応答は、S-CSCF155、P-CSCF154、PDG152を介して、FAP151に送信される(ステップB4)。
 FAP151は、呼切断応答を受信すると、UE110から受信した呼切断要求に対する呼切断応答をUE110に送信する(ステップB5)。
 呼接続が解放されると、緊急機関200から、緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置情報通知要求が、GMLC120に送信される(ステップB6)。
 GMLC120は、緊急機関200からUE110の位置情報通知要求を受信すると、そのUE110の簡易位置情報の送信を要求する旨を示す簡易位置情報通知要求(MAL-PSL(No Prioity))をHSS156に送信する(ステップB7)。
 HSS156は、GMLC120からUE110の簡易位置情報通知要求を受信すると、そのUE110の簡易位置情報を含む簡易位置情報通知(MAP-PSLack)をGMLC120に送信する(ステップB8)。
 GMLC120は、緊急呼を発信したUE110のGPS測位を要求する旨を示すGPS測位要求をAGPS130に送信する(ステップA18)。このGPS測位要求には、HSS156から受信した簡易位置情報通知に含まれる簡易位置情報が含まれる。
 以下、図5Aおよび図5Bに示すステップA18以降の処理が行われ、緊急呼を発信したUE110の位置情報が緊急機関200に通知される。
 このように本実施形態の通信システム100は、FAP151が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージ(SIPメッセージ)と、AGPS130が処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージ(PCAPメッセージ)と、を相互に変換可能であり、FAP151およびAGPS130の一方からメッセージを受信すると、そのメッセージを他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して他方へ転送する変換手段(PCAPGW159)を有する。3G-Femto網150に接続するUE110が緊急呼を発信すると、AGPS130は、そのUE110のGPS測位要求をFAP151に入力し、FAP151は、PCAPGW159を介したAGPS130との通信によりアシストデータを取得し、緊急呼を発信したUE110に取得したアシストデータを用いてGPS測位を行わせる。
 そのため、3G-Femto網150においても、緊急呼を発信したUE110にGPS測位を行わせることができる。また、SIPメッセージとPCAPメッセージとを相互に変換可能なPCAPGW159を設けることで、SIPを処理する機能をAGPS130に持たせたり、PCAPを処理する機能を3G-Femto網150内の各構成に持たせたりする必要が無いので、既存のシステム構成の変更を抑制することができる。また、PCAPGW159を設けることで、AGPS130から見ると、3G-Femto網150を仮想的に1つのRNCとみなすことができる(仮想RNC化することができる)。通常、非常に多くのFAP151が設けられる。AGPS130が、これらのFAP151それぞれと直接、メッセージの送受信を行うと、AGPS130の処理負荷が高くなる。PCAPGW159を設け、3G-Femto網150を仮想RNC化することで、AGPS130が多くのFAP151と直接メッセージの送受信を行う場合と比べて、AGPS130の処理負荷を低減することができる。
 なお、上述する実施形態は、本発明の好適な実施形態であり、上記実施形態のみに本発明の範囲を限定するものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の変更を施した形態での実施が可能である。
 また、本実施形態における通信システムは、3GPPのVersionには依存せずに処理を行うことが可能である。
 また、上述した本実施形態における通信システムを構成する各装置における制御動作は、ハードウェア、または、ソフトウェア、あるいは、両者の複合構成を用いて実行することも可能である。
 なお、ソフトウェアを用いて処理を実行する場合には、処理シーケンスを記録したプログラムを、専用のハードウェアに組み込まれているコンピュータ内のメモリにインストールして実行させることが可能である。あるいは、各種処理が実行可能な汎用コンピュータにプログラムをインストールして実行させることが可能である。
 例えば、プログラムは、記録媒体としてのハードディスクやROM(Read Only Memory)に予め記録しておくことが可能である。あるいは、プログラムは、リムーバブル記録媒体に、一時的、あるいは、永続的に格納(記録)しておくことが可能である。このようなリムーバブル記録媒体は、いわゆるパッケージソフトウエアとして提供することが可能である。リムーバブル記録媒体としては、フロッピー(登録商標)ディスク、CD-ROM(Compact Disc Read Only Memory)、MO(Magneto Optical)ディスク、DVD(Digital Versatile Disc)、磁気ディスク、半導体メモリなどが挙げられる。
 なお、プログラムは、上述したようなリムーバブル記録媒体からコンピュータにインストールすることになる。また、ダウンロードサイトから、コンピュータに無線転送することになる。また、ネットワークを介して、コンピュータに有線で転送することになる。
 また、本実施形態における通信システムは、上記実施形態で説明した処理動作に従って時系列的に処理を実行するのみならず、処理を実行する装置の処理能力、あるいは、必要に応じて並列的にあるいは個別に処理を実行するように構築することも可能である。
 また、本実施形態における通信システムは、複数の装置の論理的集合構成にしたり、各構成の装置が同一筐体内に存在する構成にしたりするように構築することも可能である。
 この出願は、2013年1月22日に出願された日本出願2013-9170を基礎とする優先権を主張し、その開示の全てをここに取り込む。

  1.  GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと、IMS網に設けられ、通信エリア内の前記無線通信装置と通信を行うフェムトセル用基地局と、を備え、
     前記IMS網には、前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記サーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する変換手段が設けられ、
     前記フェムトセル用基地局は、前記無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、該緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置の測位要求が入力されると、前記変換手段を介した前記サーバとの通信により前記アシストデータを取得し、前記緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に前記取得したアシストデータを用いた前記GPS信号に基づく測位を行わせることを特徴とする通信システム。

  5.  請求項4記載のフェムトセル用基地局であって、
     前記第1のプロトコルは、SIPであり、
     前記第2のプロトコルは、PCAPであることを特徴とするフェムトセル用基地局。
  6.  IMS網に設けられ、メッセージの転送を行うゲートウェイ装置であって、
     GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、前記IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局と通信を行う第1の通信部と、
     前記前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと通信を行う第2の通信部と、
     前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記サーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前第1の通信部および前記第2の通信部の一方がメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方の通信部の通信先が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して他方の通信部に送信させる変換部と、を有することを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置。
  7.  請求項6記載のゲートウェイ装置において、
     前記第1のプロトコルは、SIPであり、
     前記第2のプロトコルは、PCAPであることを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置。
  8.  GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法であって、
     前記無線通信装置による緊急呼の発信に応じて、該緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置の測位要求が入力されると、前記フェムトセル用基地局が処理可能な第1のプロトコルのメッセージと、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバが処理可能な第2のプロトコルのメッセージとを相互に変換可能であり、前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送する、前記IMS網の設けられたゲートウェイ装置を介した前記サーバとの通信により前記アシストデータを取得し、
     前記緊急呼を発信した無線通信装置に前記取得したアシストデータを用いて前記GPS信号に基づく測位を行わせることを特徴とするフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法。
  9.  請求項8記載のフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法であって、
     前記第1のプロトコルは、SIPであり、
     前記第2のプロトコルは、PCAPであることを特徴とするフェムトセル用基地局の制御方法。
  10.  GPS信号に基づき測位を行う無線通信装置と通信可能な、前記IMS網に設けられたフェムトセル用基地局、および、前記GPS信号に基づく測位に用いられるアシストデータを管理するサーバと通信可能であり、前記IMS網に設けられたゲートウェイ装置の制御方法であって、
     前記フェムトセル用基地局および前記サーバの一方からメッセージを受信すると、該受信したメッセージを、他方が処理可能なプロトコルのメッセージに変換して転送することを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置の制御方法。
  11.  請求項10記載のゲートウェイ装置の制御方法において、
     前記第1のプロトコルは、SIPであり、
     前記第2のプロトコルは、PCAPであることを特徴とするゲートウェイ装置の制御方法。
