Abstract

A method of adding a data centre building module (100) to a data centre building (1) having a first storey is disclosed. The data centre building module (100) is added to a second storey of the data centre building (1) on top of the first storey. The method comprises providing a data centre building module (100); lifting the data centre building module (100) to a first location on top of the first storey; transporting the module on a carrier (200) across the top of the first storey from the first location to a second location on top of the first storey; dismounting the module (100) from the carrier (200) at the second location; removing the carrier (200); and securing the module (100) at the second location to form part of the second storey of the data centre building (1).
