Abstract
Modulating the delivery volume of rolling piston compressors in the prior art is laborious, expensive and imprecise. This situation is to be remedied. The invention therefore relates to a rolling piston compressor comprising a rolling piston (10) and a compressor housing (20) with a cavity (21), wherein the rolling piston (10) is mounted so as to be able to rotate or orbit about a central axis of the cavity (21), and further comprising a slide (30) oriented along the central axis (M) and arranged displaceably in the radial direction in the cavity (21) in a slide opening (22) of the compressor housing (20), wherein the cavity (21) can be subdivided by means of the slide (30) and the rolling piston (10) into a first sub-chamber (V1) and a second sub-chamber (V2), and wherein an actuating means (40) is provided, with which a cross-sectional area (F) of a connection between the first sub-chamber (V1) and the second sub-chamber (V2) arranged in the stroke region of the slide (30) can be modified.
