When the long side of the holding space 50 is larger than 10.0 mm, there is a possibility that the space for forming the cleaning protrusion 43 may be adversely affected.
The depth of the holding space 50 has a size suitable for holding dirt removed from the tongue. The depth of the holding space 50 is defined by the distance from the base surface 41A to the holding space bottom surface 36B. The depth of the holding space 50 is preferably larger than at least one of the height and diameter of the cleaning protrusion 43. The depth of the holding space 50 is preferably included in an appropriate depth range. The appropriate depth range has a range of 0.3 mm to 2.0 mm as an example. The appropriate depth range has a range of 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm as a more preferable example. The depth of the holding space 50 has 0.8 mm as an example.
When the depth of the holding space 50 is less than 0.3 mm, there is a possibility that the holding space 50 may have an unfavorable influence on the holding property of the dirt removed from the tongue. If the depth of the holding space 50 is larger than 2.0 mm, there is a possibility that the holding space 50 may have an unfavorable influence on the soil release property when the holding space 50 is cleaned.
Dirty retention indicates the ability of the holding space 50 to hold the removed dirt. Undesirable influences on dirt retention include that it becomes difficult to hold a sufficient amount of dirt in the holding space 50. The sufficient amount indicates an amount by which the user can easily visually recognize the dirt held in the holding space 50.
The operation of the electric oral hygiene device 1 will be described with reference to FIG. 1 and FIG.
When the tongue cleaning device 10 is used for cleaning teeth, the tooth cleaning unit 11 is pressed against the teeth. The tongue cleaning device 10 is driven by the sanitary device body 60 to reciprocate with respect to the teeth along the longitudinal direction of the device. Or the tongue cleaning instrument 10 reciprocates with respect to a tooth | gear by being operated by the user. The tongue cleaning device 10 moves with respect to the teeth, thereby removing the dirt on the teeth by the tooth cleaning unit 11.
When the tongue cleaning device 10 is used for cleaning the tongue, the tongue cleaning unit 40 is pressed against the tongue. The tongue cleaning device 10 is preferably pressed against the tongue with a weak force. The tongue cleaning instrument 10 is driven by the sanitary device body 60 to reciprocate with respect to the tongue along the instrument longitudinal direction. Or the tongue cleaning instrument 10 reciprocates with respect to a tongue in an instrument longitudinal direction by being operated by the user. The tongue cleaning device 10 moves with respect to the tongue to remove the dirt on the tongue by the plurality of cleaning protrusions 43.
The dirt removed from the tongue (hereinafter, “soil after removal SA”) moves on the tongue cleaning unit 40 by the reciprocating movement of the tongue cleaning device 10. Part or all of the post-removal dirt SA enters the holding space 50. Dirt that has entered the holding space 50 (hereinafter, “in-space dirt SB”) is difficult to move to the outside of the holding space 50 when the tongue cleaning device 10 is used for cleaning the tongue. It is confirmed by the results of experiments conducted by the inventors of the present application that the in-space dirt SB is difficult to move to the outside of the holding space 50. The reason is considered as follows. The in-space dirt SB is less likely to come into contact with the tongue when the tongue cleaning instrument 10 reciprocates as compared to the after-removal dirt SA present on the cleaning protrusion 43. For this reason, the movement of the dirt SB in the space due to contact with the tongue hardly occurs. For this reason, the in-space dirt SB is unlikely to move outside the holding space 50.
The in-space dirt SB moves to the outside of the holding space 50 when the tongue cleaning device 10 is washed with a cleaning liquid such as water after the tongue cleaning device 10 is taken out from the oral cavity. Dirt that has moved to the outside of the holding space 50 (hereinafter, “post-cleaning dirt SC”) is removed from the tongue cleaning device 10. For this reason, the sanitary state of the tongue cleaning instrument 10 is formed.
Referring to FIG. 6, the procedure for confirming the degree of dirt removed from the tongue will be described.
The user cleans the tongue with the tongue cleaning device 10. The user takes out the tongue cleaning device 10 from the oral cavity. The user visually recognizes the amount of in-space dirt SB present in the holding space 50. When the user confirms that the in-space dirt SB exists, the user can recognize that the dirt on the tongue has been removed. When the user confirms that the in-space dirt SB exists, the user can recognize that there is a possibility that dirt is left on the tongue. When the user continues to clean the tongue with the tongue cleaning device 10, the user cleans the holding space 50 with the cleaning liquid. The in-space dirt SB is washed away from the holding space 50 as the after-cleaning dirt SC.
After the user cleans the tongue again with the tongue cleaning device 10, the user confirms whether there is dirt SB in the space by the same procedure as described above. After the user removes the tongue cleaning device 10 from the oral cavity, the user can continue cleaning the tongue until the in-space dirt SB cannot be confirmed. The user can recognize that the dirt on the tongue has been sufficiently removed when the in-space dirt SB cannot be confirmed after the tongue cleaning device 10 is taken out from the oral cavity.
With reference to FIG. 6, the manufacturing method of the tongue cleaning instrument 10 is demonstrated.
The method for manufacturing the tongue cleaning device 10 (hereinafter referred to as “device manufacturing method”) includes, as an example, an injection molding method. The instrument manufacturing method includes a primary molding process and a secondary molding process. In the instrument manufacturing method, the tongue cleaning instrument 10 is manufactured using the basic mold 100, the primary mold 110, and the secondary mold 120.
The basic mold 100 has a structure shown in FIG. 6A as an example. The basic mold 100 has a structure for molding the instrument body 20. As an example, the primary mold 110 has a structure shown in FIG. The primary mold 110 has a structure for molding the instrument body 20. As an example, the secondary mold 120 has a structure shown in FIG. The secondary mold 120 has a structure for forming the tongue cleaning unit 40 in the instrument body 20. The secondary mold 120 includes a secondary molding part 121, a molded product fixing part 122, and a gate 123. The secondary mold 120 forms a secondary molding space 124 between the basic mold 100 and the secondary molding part 121.
FIG. 6A shows the work process of the primary molding process.
In the primary molding step, the primary mold 110 is clamped to the basic mold 100 in the first stage. The primary mold 110 is clamped to form a primary molding space (not shown) between the primary mold 110 and the basic mold 100. In the primary molding step, the first molding material is injected into the primary molding space in the next stage. In the primary molding step, the tool body 20 as a primary molded product is molded by injecting the first molding material. In the primary molding step, the primary molding die 110 is opened in the next stage.
FIGS. 6B and 6C show the work process of the secondary forming process.
In the secondary molding process, the secondary mold 120 is clamped to the basic mold 100 in the first stage. The secondary mold 120 is clamped to form a secondary molding space 124 between the secondary mold 120 and the basic mold 100. The secondary mold 120 is clamped to form a secondary molding space 124 between the secondary mold 120 and the basic mold 100. The molded product fixing part 122 contacts the base part forming surface 36 of the head 30. The secondary mold 120 presses the head 30 against the basic mold 100 by the molded product fixing part 122.
The secondary molding step injects the second molding material into the secondary molding space 124 through the gate 123 in the next stage. In the secondary molding step, the tongue cleaning unit 40 that functions as a secondary molded product is molded on the head 30 by injecting the second molding material. In the secondary molding step, the secondary molding die 120 is opened in the next stage.
The operation of the appliance manufacturing method will be described.
The second molding material on the basic mold 100 receives pressure from the second molding material around the basic mold 100. In other words, the second molding material receives pressure on the basic mold 100. The second molding material around the basic mold 100 is the second molding material on the basic mold 100 by applying a force to move the second molding material on the basic mold 100 between the basic mold 100 and the brush flocking surface 35. Giving to the material. For this reason, the head 30 receives a force in a direction away from the basic mold 100 from the second molding material. For this reason, when it is assumed that the molded product fixing portion 122 does not exist, the head 30 may be separated from the basic mold 100 in the secondary molding process. That is, the second molding material may flow between the basic mold 100 and the brush flocking surface 35. For this reason, a 2nd molding material may weld to the brush flock surface 35 of the molded product after completion.
In this instrument manufacturing method, the head 30 is pressed against the basic mold 100 by the molded product fixing portion 122 in the secondary molding process. For this reason, it is suppressed that the head 30 leaves | separates from the basic mold 100 with the pressure received from a 2nd molding material. That is, the second molding material is suppressed from flowing between the basic mold 100 and the brush flocking surface 35. For this reason, it is suppressed that a 2nd molding material welds to the brush flock surface 35 of the molded article after completion.
The electric oral hygiene device 1 has the following effects.
(1) The electric oral hygiene device 1 has a tongue cleaning device 10. The tongue cleaning device 10 has a tongue cleaning unit 40. The tongue cleaning unit 40 includes a cleaning unit base 41, a plurality of cleaning protrusions 43, and a holding space 50. The holding space 50 has a recessed shape with respect to the cleaning unit base portion 41. According to this configuration, the dirt removed from the tongue is held in the holding space 50. For this reason, the user can recognize the degree of dirt removed from the tongue by checking the dirt in the holding space 50 after cleaning the tongue with the tongue cleaning device 10. Thus, the electric oral hygiene device 1 contributes to making the user recognize the degree of dirt removed from the tongue.
(2) When the user confirms that the dirt is not present in the holding space 50 after removing the tongue cleaning device 10 from the oral cavity, the user recognizes that the dirt on the tongue has been sufficiently removed. Can do. For this reason, excessive cleaning of the tongue by the tongue cleaning device 10 is suppressed. It should be noted that excessive cleaning of the tongue indicates that the tongue is cleaned over a long period of time using the tongue cleaning device 10 or that the tongue is cleaned with a strong force using the tongue cleaning device 10.
(3) The holding space bottom surface 36B is exposed to the outside. The holding space bottom surface 36B has a head forming color CHA. The tongue cleaning unit 40 has a cleaning unit forming color CCA. The head formation color CHA and the cleaning part formation color CCA are different from each other. For this reason, a color difference is formed between the holding space bottom surface 36B and the base surface 41A. According to this configuration, the user can easily visually recognize the holding space bottom surface 36B. For this reason, the user can easily visually recognize the position of the holding space 50. For this reason, the user can quickly confirm the degree of dirt removed from the tongue.
(4) In the tongue cleaning instrument 10, the color of the holding space bottom surface 36B is different from the color of the base surface 41A using the head forming color CHA. According to this structure, the process at the time of manufacture of the tongue cleaning instrument 10 decreases compared with the structure from which the color of holding | maintenance space bottom face 36B differs from the color of 41 A of base surfaces, without utilizing head formation color CHA. For this reason, the tongue cleaning instrument 10 contributes to the reduction of manufacturing cost.
(5) The holding space 50 is formed in a portion of the cleaning unit base portion 41 that exists on the head tip side portion 32. According to this configuration, dirt removed from the tongue is compared with the configuration in which the holding space 50 is assumed to be formed in a portion of the cleaning unit base portion 41 on the head base end side portion 31. It is easy to enter the holding space 50. This has been confirmed by the results of experiments conducted by the present inventors. The reason why this result was obtained is considered to be related to the fact that the tongue cleaning device 10 reciprocates along the longitudinal direction of the device when cleaning the tongue.
(6) The tongue cleaning unit 40 has the height of the cleaning protrusion 43 included in the appropriate height range. According to this structure, it is suppressed that the height of the cleaning protrusion 43 exerts an undesirable influence on the cleaning performance of the tongue.
(7) The tongue cleaning unit 40 has the diameter of the cleaning protrusion 43 included in the appropriate diameter range. According to this structure, it is suppressed that the diameter of the cleaning protrusion 43 exerts an undesirable influence on the cleaning performance of the tongue.
(8) The tongue cleaning unit 40 has the short side of the holding space 50 included in the appropriate short side range. According to this configuration, it is possible to suppress the short side of the holding space 50 from adversely affecting the holding performance of the dirt removed from the tongue. Further, it is possible to suppress the short side of the holding space 50 from adversely affecting the space for forming the cleaning protrusion 43.
(9) The tongue cleaning unit 40 has the long side of the holding space 50 included in the appropriate long side range. According to this configuration, the long side of the holding space 50 is suppressed from adversely affecting the holding performance of the dirt removed from the tongue. Further, it is possible to suppress the long side of the holding space 50 from adversely affecting the space for forming the cleaning protrusion 43.
(10) The tongue cleaning unit 40 has a depth of the holding space 50 included in an appropriate depth range. According to this structure, it is suppressed that the depth of the holding | maintenance space 50 has an unfavorable influence with respect to the retainability of the dirt removed from the tongue. Further, it is possible to suppress the depth of the holding space 50 from undesirably affecting the dirt release property when the holding space 50 is cleaned.
(11) In the instrument manufacturing method, the head 30 is pressed against the basic mold 100 by the molded product fixing portion 122 in the secondary molding process. According to this structure, it is suppressed that a 2nd molding material welds to the brush flock surface 35 of the molded article after a secondary shaping | molding process. Moreover, it is difficult to form burrs on the cleaning portion peripheral wall portion 42 of the molded product after the secondary molding step.
