The invention relates to a display container for containing different items. The container, combined with a light source providing luminosity, highlights the item seen by a person from the outside. The container comprises a supporting structure that receives at least the light source projecting over the recipient when it is on, and comprises a hollow base comprising the chamber, a roof, side walls and at least one collapsible side wall, which all project from the hollow base. The collapsible side wall adopts a position selected from a closed position wherein the opening is closed, interrupting the projection of the luminosity to the outside, and an open position wherein the collapsible side wall opens up said opening, letting the luminosity pass through to the outside.
