Description

Orthopedic Casting Tape Supports
The present invention relates to an orthopedic casting tape support, and more particularly, to an orthopedic casting tape support with improved wearability.
In general, orthopedic casting tapes include polyurethane resins in fabrics woven from glass fibers, which cause chemical reactions when exposed to moisture or moisture. It is being used as a medical device to replace the method.
Conventional glass fiber-based casting tape is gradually replacing the gypsum molding method due to the advantages of light, durable, fast treatment time, convenient procedures and easy finishing. However, the tape made of glass fibers may be damaged by impact due to material properties or allergic to glass fiber dust, and in particular, glass fiber dust may be generated during the cutting and manufacturing process to cause respiratory and skin diseases. There is a problem and a problem that the discarded tape does not burn.
On the other hand, due to the problems of the glass fiber, Korean Patent Invention No. 201873 discloses a polyester support for a caching tape in which polyester fibers and fibers which impart marketability in an inclined direction of the support are mixed. A polyester support for casting tape has been proposed as an elastic fiber imparting stretchability in the inclined direction of a support, in which polyester elastic fibers alone or elastic fibers in which polyurethane elastic fibers are mixed and knitted into polyester elastic fibers are mixed.
Although the above-described method has an advantage of improving the elongation rate, the elastic yarn is fully recovered after being stretched, and thus, when the support is hardened in the procedure step, the contraction is excessively constricted and the compression is applied to the affected part of the patient. There was a problem that caused it.
Although products using yarns with reduced elastic recovery power have been introduced, there is a problem in that the surface area is increased in the final knitted fabric, and the surface porosity is significantly reduced. In particular, the amount of the curable urethane resin to be applied increases the bubble after the procedure. There was a problem that this is the same as the disadvantages of the gypsum maldial reproducing the same as the mint permeability of the perforated micropores in the fabric and the curing time increases during the procedure.
Accordingly, there is a need for a casting tape that can be secured to a sufficient degree of compression and breathability after performing a role as a support.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a casting tape support having a recovery rate of elongation at which pain caused by compression is alleviated while maintaining a mechanical elongation rate.

First, it should be noted that in the drawings, the same components or parts denote the same reference numerals as much as possible. In describing the present invention, detailed descriptions of related well-known functions or configurations are omitted in order not to obscure the subject matter of the present invention.

Orthopedic casting tape support according to an embodiment of the present invention can be formed as a knitted fabric. Among knitted fabrics, considering the stretchability of the tissue itself, it may be made of warp knit.
The support according to an embodiment of the present invention is a warp knitted weft may be a general material, but may be polyester based as a non-limiting example. Mechanical properties and hydrophobicity are considered suitable. In addition, a plurality of yarns may be used for the warp yarn, and as a non-limiting example, two different types may be used, one may use general polyester fiber and the other may use polyester DTY.
This preparation process can be defined as a knitting preparation process, it is possible to prepare the yarn for yarn and warp yarn. Warp yarns can be knitted by feeding the general polyester fiber and DTY 1: 1 to 2: 1. Within the above range, there is an advantage of ensuring breathability by DTY and shrinkage and elongation.
When the preparation process is completed as described above can be formed into a knitted fabric in the normal warp knitting. (Knitting process)
The knitted support is subjected to a process of shrinking DTY by heating or hot water. (Shrinkage process) The porosity and extensibility are reinforced by the contracted DTY, but the DTY is kept in a contracted state compared to the original potential. As the contracted potential is elongated during use, there is more room to be stretched, thereby improving extensibility. This extensibility is because the casting tape must be stretched to wrap the affected area in use.
This extensibility has been found to be desirable in the modulus of elasticity 0.02 to 0.03 in relation to the load (Kgf) -strain (%). (See FIG. 1) A load is significantly required to stretch the tape when the range is exceeded. That is, the operator's excessive effort is required to cover the affected area during the procedure, and there is a problem that excessive pressure is likely to occur in relation to the recovery rate of the kidney, which will be described later. In addition, the present inventors evaluated that there is a problem that morphological stability and proper compression force do not occur after the procedure, although there is a point that is well elongated with a small load during the procedure.
On the other hand, in the use (procedure) environment, the elongated casting tape must be retracted. For this purpose, conventionally, elastic yarn (spandex or rubber yarn, etc.) is used. However, as described above, the elastic yarn has a disadvantage of strongly compressing the affected part due to excessive contraction recovery force. Therefore, the optimal contraction force should be examined to maintain the contraction force to the extent that the casting tape is fixed to the affected part so as not to cause pain by compressing the affected part.
Accordingly, the inventors found that the recovery coefficient is preferably 0.07 to 0.08 when the differential recovery is defined as the recovery coefficient in relation to the load (Kgf) and the recovery ratio (%). The recovery rate is in the above range to maintain the shape without causing pain in the affected area due to excessive recovery power after the procedure.
Meanwhile, the correlation between the elongation rate and the recovery rate is defined as the deviation of the slope with respect to the same load (Kgf), which will be referred to as the elongation-recovery coefficient. The deviation is preferably 0.045 to 0.055. Such a relationship can be said to be a correlation coefficient that can be easily stretched for convenience of work during the procedure and can not be excessively recovered during recovery.
It will be described as an example below.
실시예Example
Using a 420/96 (D / F) polyester yarn as a weft yarn, and using a 420/96 (D / F) polyester yarn with a ramp and DTY 150/48 (D / F) in a 2: 1 ratio It was. Elongation and elongation recovery of the fabric was measured after shrinkage processing of DTY in 150 degrees of hot water after the knitting. The results are shown in Table 1.
