- a stream receiver that receives the composite stream from the external device;
- the electronic apparatus includes a processing unit that processes each transport stream packet of the received composite stream based on processing information sequentially output from the processing information holding unit.
- the composite stream creation unit creates a composite stream by combining the transport stream packets of a plurality of transport streams. Then, the stream transmission unit transmits this composite stream to the external device.

- the count information addition area may be configured by a partial area of the synchronization byte area in the header of the transport stream packet.
- the partial area may be a predetermined number of bit areas in which the bit value of the synchronization signal is 1. In this case, when all the bit values of the specific count value are 1, the corresponding bit value of the synchronization signal can be used as it is, and rewriting becomes unnecessary.
- the stream reception unit receives the composite stream from the external device. For example, in the external device, based on the fact that the count information added to the count information addition area provided in each transport stream packet is a specific count value, the order of each transport stream packet of the composite stream to be transmitted Is the same as the order of each transport stream packet of the received composite stream. - the count information addition area provided in the transport stream packet is set in a state where a specific count value is added. Is. Therefore, it is possible to inform the external device that there is no packet order switching function using the count information, and it is possible to receive a composite stream in which the order of each transport stream packet is the same as that at the time of transmission from the external device. It becomes possible.

- the partial area may be an area of lower 4 bits or lower 3 bits.
- the stream reception unit receives the composite stream from the external device. Also, the multiplexing unit 143 outputs LTS (Local Time Stamp) corresponding to each PID packet in accordance with the output timing of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS.

- FIG. 20C shows an example of the arrangement of LTSs sequentially output from the LCC adding unit 144B to the FIFO unit 147B.
- LTSID and LCC are added to each PID packet of the composite stream CTS.
- the LTSID (ID1) is an LTSID indicating that the original transport stream is the transport stream TS1.
- the LTSID (ID2) is an LTSID indicating that the original transport stream is the transport stream TS2.
- the LTSID (ID3) is an LTSID indicating that the original transport stream is the transport stream TS3.
- each PID packet of the composite stream sequentially received from the CAM module 200 via the common interface is sent to the demultiplexing unit 145.
- the controller 104B since the LCC inserted and added to each PID packet of the composite stream CTS is a specific count value, the controller 104B does not have a packet order change function using the count information. It is understood.
- the packet order is not changed. Therefore, the packet order of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS output from the CAM module 200 is in a state where the packet order of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS input to the CAM module 200 is maintained.
- each demultiplexing unit 145 is supplied with each LTS corresponding to the PID packet in accordance with the supply of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS received from the CAM module 200.
- each PID packet of the received composite stream is processed based on the added LTSID, and further, the LTS corresponding to the PID packet output from the FIFO unit 147B. Also, the demultiplexing unit 145 adjusts the output timing so that each PID packet is arranged at the time position corresponding to the corresponding LTS in each distributed stream, and the reconfigured transport stream TS1 , TS2, TS3 are obtained.
- FIG. 21A shows an example of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS that is sequentially input from the CAM module 200 to the demultiplexing unit 145 via the common interface. This example corresponds to FIG. 20B, but since the packet order is maintained in the CAM module 200, the packet order is not changed.
- FIG. 21B shows an example of each LTS that is sequentially sent from the FIFO unit 147B to the demultiplexing unit 145 in accordance with the input timing of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS (FIG. 20C). Yes) FIG. 21C shows an example of each PID packet of the reconstructed transport streams TS1, TS2, TS3 output from the demultiplexing unit 145.
- the flowchart of FIG. 22 illustrates an example of a processing procedure when the common interface controller 104B generates a combined stream CTS by combining the PID packets of the transport streams TS1, TS2, and TS3 and transmits the combined stream CTS to the CAM module 200. Show.
- the controller 104B starts the process in step ST21, and then proceeds to the process of step ST22.
- the controller 104B inputs the transport streams TS1, TS2, TS3.
- the controller 104B adds an LTS to the PID packet of each transport stream.
- step ST24 the controller 104B excludes the PID data packet of the service channel from which each transport stream is not selected (tuned). Then, in step ST25, the controller 104B arranges and synthesizes the remaining PID packets (PID packets after removing the LTS) in order from the earliest to create a composite stream. At this time, the controller 104B adds LTSID and LCC to each PID packet.
- the LCC in this case is a specific count value (fixed value).
- step ST26 the controller 104B sequentially transmits each PID packet of the composite stream CTS to the CAM module 200 at a clock rate necessary for continuous transmission.
- step ST26 the controller 104B inputs the LTS corresponding to each PID packet to the FIFO unit 147B and holds it for a certain time.
- the controller 104B ends the process in step ST7 after the process of step ST26.
- FIG. 23 shows an example of a processing procedure when the common interface controller 104B receives the composite stream CTS from the CAM module 200 and reconstructs the transport streams TS1, TS2, and TS3.
- the controller 104B starts the process in step ST31, and then proceeds to the process of step ST32.
- step ST ⁇ b> 32 the controller 104 ⁇ / b> B sequentially receives each PID packet of the composite stream CTS from the CAM module 200. Further, the controller 104B obtains an LTS corresponding to each PID packet from the FIFO unit 147B.
- Step ST33 the controller 104B performs Sync replacement of each PID packet of the combined stream CTS and distributes each PID packet to a corresponding stream based on the LTSID added to the PID packet.
- step ST34 the controller 104B adjusts and outputs the output timing of each PID packet for each stream based on the corresponding LTS output from the FIFO unit 147B. As a result, the controller 104B outputs the reconstructed transport streams TS1, TS2, TS3.
- step ST35 the controller 104B ends the process in step ST35.
- controller 104B performs the transmission process shown in the flowchart of FIG. 22 described above and the reception process shown in the flowchart of FIG. 23 in parallel, and periodically repeats each.
- the controller 104B shown in FIG. 19 adds a specific count value as an LCC to the count information addition area for each PID packet of the composite stream CTS transmitted to the CAM module 200. .
- the controller 104B can inform the CAM module 200 that there is no packet order change function using the count information, and therefore packet order change is not allowed.
- the controller 104B informs the CAM module 200 that packet order switching is not allowed, so that the composite stream CTS in which the order of each PID packet is the same as that at the time of transmission is obtained from the CAM module 200. Received. Further, in the FIFO unit 147B, the LTS is delayed and output by a time corresponding to the delay time of the combined stream CTS in the transmission from the reception of the CAM module 200. Therefore, it is possible to appropriately process each PID packet of the received composite stream CTS based on the corresponding LTS.
- FIG. 24 shows a configuration example of the CAM module 200.
- the CAM module 200 includes the microprocessor 201 and the descrambler 202 (see FIG. 1).
- the microprocessor 201 performs necessary communication with the microprocessor 101 of the host device 100 and controls the operation of the descrambler 202.
- the descrambler 202 receives the composite stream CTS sent from the common interface controller 104 (104A, 104B) of the host device 100 through the common interface, and performs descrambling processing. Then, the descrambler 202 transmits the combined stream CTS after the descrambling process to the controller 104 of the host device 100.
- the descrambler 202 includes a TS separation unit 211, N CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N, N buffer units 213-1 to 213-N, and a TS synthesis unit 214. .
- the TS separation unit 211 receives the composite stream CTS transmitted from the controller 104 of the host device 100.
- the TS separation unit 211 distributes each PID packet of the composite stream CTS to each stream of TS1 to TSN based on the LTSID inserted and added to the synchronization byte area in the header (see FIG. 5).
- the TS separation unit 211 extracts the LCC inserted and added to the count information area provided in each PID packet of the composite stream CTS, that is, a partial area of the synchronization byte area in the header (see FIG. 5). Sent to the microprocessor 201. As described above, in the case of the composite stream CTS transmitted from the controller 104A (see FIG. 2) having a packet order change function using the count information, this LCC is sequentially counted by skipping a specific count value. It is count information. In this case, the microprocessor 201 recognizes that the controller 104 that transmits the composite stream CTS is the controller 104A having the packet order change function using the count information, and therefore packet order change is allowed.
- this LCC has a specific count value.
- the microprocessor 201 recognizes that the controller 104 that transmits the combined stream CTS is the controller 104B that does not have the packet order change function using the count information, and accordingly, the packet order change is not allowed.
- the microprocessor 201 controls the operation of the descrambler 202, particularly the operation of buffering and each PID packet synthesis, in accordance with the permissible recognition of packet order change by the LCC. Details of this control operation will be described later.
- the CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N perform a decoding process on the PID packets of each distributed stream. Note that not all of the CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N are always used, but only CA decryption units corresponding to the number of streams included in the composite stream CTS are used. Also, the buffer units 213-1 to 213-N buffer the PID packets that have been decrypted by the CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N, respectively.

- FIG. 25 (d) shows a combined stream CTS transmitted to the controller 104A, which is created by combining the PID packets of each stream in the TS combining unit 214.
- the order of the PID packets of the composite stream CTS is different from the order of the PID packets of the received composite stream CTS, and the packet order is changed.
- the controller 104A there is no problem in the controller 104A because the permutation of packets is allowed.
- the microprocessor 201 recognizes that the permutation of packets is not allowed based on the LCC as described above, the decoded PID packet of each stream is changed to the PID packet of each received composite stream CTS. Control buffering and synthesis of each PID packet to be synthesized in order.

- FIG. 25 (c) shows the PID packets of the streams TS1, TS2, TS3 after being decoded by the CA decryption units 212-1, 212-2, 212-3.
- 26A to 26C are the same as FIGS. 25A to 25C, respectively.
- FIG. 26 (d) shows a combined stream CTS that is generated by combining the PID packets of each stream in the TS combining unit 214 and transmitted to the controller 104B.
- the order of the PID packets of the composite stream CTS is the same as the order of the PID packets of the received composite stream CTS. In this case, in order to keep the order of the PID packets, the buffer amount for waiting increases, and therefore the delay time in the CAM module 200 also increases.
- the operation of the CAM module 200 shown in FIG. 24 will be described.
- the composite stream CTS sent from the common interface controller 104 (104A, 104B) of the host device 100 via the common interface is received by the TS separation unit 211.
- each PID packet of the composite stream CTS is distributed to each stream of TS1 to TSN based on the LTSID inserted and added to the synchronization byte area in the header (see FIG. 5). .
- the LCC inserted and added to the synchronization byte area in the header of each PID packet of the composite stream CTS is extracted and sent to the microprocessor 201. Based on this LCC, the microprocessor 201 recognizes whether or not the permutation of packets is allowed, and controls the buffering and each PID packet synthesis based on the recognition result.
- the PID packets of each stream separated by the TS separation unit 211 are supplied to CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N, respectively.
- Each of the CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N performs a decoding process on the PID packet of each distributed stream.
- the PID packets of each stream after the decoding process are respectively supplied to the buffer units 213-1 to 213-N and accumulated temporarily.
- the TS combining unit 214 combines the PID packets of the streams stored in the buffer units 213-1 to 213-N to generate a combined stream CTS, which is transmitted to the controller 104 (104A, 104B) of the host device 100. Is done. In this case, when the controller 104 is a controller 104A (see FIG. 2) that allows the packet order to be changed, the PID packets after decoding of the respective streams are synthesized in the decoding order (see FIG. 25 (d)). On the other hand, when the controller 104 is a controller 104B (see FIG. 19) that does not allow the change of the packet order, the PID packets after decoding of the streams are combined in the order of the PID packets of the received combined stream CTS. (See FIG. 26 (d)).
- step ST41 the CAM module 200 starts processing in step ST41, and then proceeds to processing in step ST42.
- step ST42 the CAM module 200 receives the composite stream CTS.
- step ST43 the CAM module 200 detects the LCC added to each PID packet of the received composite stream CTS.
- step ST44 the CAM module 200 distributes each PID packet of the received composite stream CTS to each stream based on the LTSID added thereto.
- step ST45 the CAM module 200 performs a decoding process on each PID packet of each stream.
- step ST46 the CAM module 200 determines whether or not the LCC detected in step ST43 is a specific count value.
- a specific count value that is, when packet permutation is not allowed
- step ST47 buffering and queuing of the PID packet of each stream is performed
- step ST48 the PID packet after decoding of each stream is
- the synthesized stream CTS is generated by synthesizing the PID packets in the same order as the PID packets in the received synthesized stream CTS.
- step ST49 the CAM module 200 transmits the composite stream CTS obtained in step ST48 to the controller 104 of the host device 100. Thereafter, the CAM module 200 ends the process in step ST50.
- the CAM module 200 combines the PID packets after decoding of the streams in the decoding order in step ST48. A composite stream CTS is created. Then, in step ST49, the CAM module 200 transmits this composite stream CTS to the controller 104 of the host device 100. Thereafter, the CAM module 200 ends the process in step ST50.
- the buffering in the descrambler 202 and each PID packet synthesis is controlled. Therefore, the composite stream can be returned to the control 104 in a state corresponding to the controller 104 of the host device 100.
- the operation of the decryption process in the CA decryption units 212-1 to 212-N is not particularly mentioned.
- the operation of the decoding process should be accelerated.
- the delay amount can be reduced.
- FIG. 28 shows a timing chart in that case.
- FIG. 28A shows the composite stream CTS received by the TS separation unit 211.
- FIG. 28B shows the PID packets of the streams TS1, TS2, TS3 after being separated by the TS separator 211.

- FIG. 28 (c) shows the PID packets of the streams TS1, TS2, and TS3 after being decrypted by the CA decryption units 212-1, 212-2, and 212-3. Since the operation of the decoding process is accelerated, the delay due to the decoding process is 1/3 packet, 2/3 packet, and 1 packet for the streams TS1, TS2, and TS3, respectively. On the other hand, when the operation of the decoding process is not accelerated, as shown in FIG. 26C, the delay due to the decoding process is 1 packet, 2 packets, 3 packets.
- FIG. 28D shows a combined stream CTS that is generated by combining the PID packets of each stream in the TS combining unit 214 and transmitted to the controller 104B.
- the order of the PID packets of the composite stream CTS is the same as the order of the PID packets of the received composite stream CTS. In this case, since the operation of the decoding process is speeded up, the delay amount is smaller than in the case of FIG.
- the CAM module 200 allows the switching of the packet order, and thus it is necessary to add the LCC to the LTS and CC.
- the CAM module 200 does not allow the switching of the packet order, and thus it is not necessary to add the LCC to the LTS and CC.

FIFO(First In First Out)部147を有している。
