In the vehicle body 4, an opening trim 41 is provided at a lower end portion of a portion located on the upper side with respect to the side door. The left and right side end portions 21 of the ceiling material 2 are supported by an extension support portion 411 provided so as to extend from the opening trim 41, and are arranged at the ceiling portion of the vehicle.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the case 33 of the airbag 3 includes a body portion 34 that holds the airbag body 31 from the vehicle body 4 side, and the side of the ceiling material 2 from the body portion 34 to the outside in the left-right direction W. A pedestal portion 35 that protrudes so as to face the end portion 21 is provided. The pedestal portion 35 is formed at a plurality of locations (three locations in this example) in the front-rear direction L, which is the longitudinal direction of the airbag 3. Each pedestal portion 35 is formed with a latching hole 351, and the ceiling member 2 is formed with a latching projection 22 at a position facing the latching hole 351.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the case 33 is provided with attachment portions 36 for attaching the case 33 to the vehicle body 4 at a plurality of locations in the front-rear direction L. The attachment portion 36 is provided at a position in the front-rear direction L in the case 33 where the pedestal portion 35 is not provided. FIG. 3 shows a case where the attachment portion 36 is provided in a portion of the case 33 that holds the inflator 32.
The ceiling material 2 has a notch 23 for enabling work from below the ceiling material 2 at a position facing the mounting portion 36. The case 33 may be formed integrally in the longitudinal direction of the airbag 1 or may be formed by being partially divided in accordance with the positions where the pedestal portion 35 and the attachment portion 36 are formed.
In the vehicle ceiling module 1 of this example, as shown in FIG. 4, when the ceiling member 2 and the airbag 3 are assembled to the vehicle body 4, each latching protrusion of the ceiling member 2 is inserted into each retaining hole 351 of the case 33. 22 is inserted and hooked so that the airbag 3 is temporarily fixed to the back surface 201 of the ceiling material 2. Then, the ceiling module 1 is maintained in the vehicle body 4 by attaching the case 33 to the vehicle body 4. Thereby, the assembly property of the ceiling material 2 and the airbag 3 to the vehicle body 4 can be improved.
In addition, when a back monitor or an electrical decoration is additionally attached after the vehicle is assembled, the ceiling material 2 is removed from the vehicle body 4 while the case 33 remains on the vehicle body 4 as shown in FIG. At this time, the ceiling material 2 can be removed by extracting each latching protrusion 22 from each latching hole 351. Therefore, it is easy to remove the ceiling material 2 at the time of service after the vehicle is assembled.
Then, after wiring work is performed on the indoor side of the vehicle body 4, the ceiling material 2 is attached to the vehicle body 4 again. At this time, since each latching hole 351 in the case 33 is located outside the airbag 3 in the left-right direction W and opposed to the side end 21 of the ceiling member 2, the operator can set each latching hole. It is easy to visually inspect 351. Therefore, it is easy to mount the ceiling material 2 at the time of service after the vehicle is assembled.
Moreover, when removing the ceiling material 2, it is not necessary to remove the airbag 3, and it can prevent that the assembly | attachment state of the airbag 3 arises.
Therefore, according to the ceiling module 1 of the vehicle of this example, the assemblability of the ceiling material 2 and the airbag 3 is improved, and the ceiling material 2 can be removed and maintained while the assembled state of the airbag 3 is maintained. Mounting can be performed easily.
