본 발명의 실시예는 LC 병렬 AC 직결형 LED 조명 장치에 관한 것이다. 더 상세하게는 엘이디(LED) 조명을 위한 엘이디 어레이를 구동하기 위하여 보상회로를 부가한 엘이디 조명장치를 사용함으로써 출력 및 역률 등의 특성을 향상시키도록 제어하고자 하는 LC 병렬 AC 직결형 LED 조명 장치에 관한 것이다.
이 부분에 기술된 내용은 단순히 본 발명의 실시예에 대한 배경 정보를 제공할 뿐 반드시 종래기술을 구성하는 것은 아니다.
LED는 전력 소모가 작고 반영구적으로 긴 수명을 가지며 기존의 형광등에 필적할 정도의 휘도(Brightness) 특성을 갖는 등 장점이 많으므로, 현재 전 세계적으로 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있으며 차츰 조명 광원으로서 형광등을 대체하는 LED조명등으로 널리 사용되고 있는 추세다.
일반적으로 형광등은 부성 저항특성을 갖는 수은방전관의 일종으로서, 형광등의 방전개시를 유도하여 점등 후 안정적으로 점등 상태를 유지하기 위한 장치로 안정기가 필요하다. 안정기는 초기 형광등의 점등에 필요한 방전개시 고전압을 인가해 주고 점등 후에는 형광등에 안정적인 전압과 전류를 공급하는 역할을 한다.
LED를 이용한 조명은 형광등과 달리 안정기라는 부품이 없이도 일정한 전압 전류에 의해서 바로 동작이 가능하며 형광등과 같은 조도를 발생시키기 위한 필요 전력이 LED조명등의 경우 형광등의 절반 수준인 장점이 있다. 그런데, 기존의 형광등 조명을 대체하여 LED조명등으로 교체하려면 안정기와 형광등을 제거하고 설치하면 된다.

기존의 신속점등식 안정기를 그대로 두고 형광등만 도 1과 같이 저항을 연결한 LED조명등으로 교체하는 방법을 사용할 수도 있으나, 도 1과 같이 단순히 기존의 형광등을 LED조명등으로 교체하게 되면 입력 역률도 나빠질 뿐만 아니라 THD(Total Harmonic Distortion)의 발생량이 많고, 출력전력도 원하는 출력을 내기 어려워 출력특성이 좋지 않은 문제점이 있다.
이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 발명의 일 실시예는, 엘이디(LED) 조명을 위한 엘이디 어레이를 구동하기 위하여 보상회로를 부가한 엘이디 조명장치를 사용함으로써 출력 및 역률 등의 특성을 향상시키고자 하는 데에 목적이 있다.
전술한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명의 일 실시예는, AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서, AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로; 상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및 상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이를 포함하고, 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과, (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 결과(전류)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상의 코사인 값이 0.9 이상이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치를 제공한다. 상기 전류의 위상이 상기 전압에 비해 진상(Leading Phase)인 역률이 되도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정될 수 있다.
전술한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명의 일 실시예는, AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서, AC 입력과 병렬로 제3보상커패시터가 연결되고, 상기 AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로; 상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및 상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이를 포함하고, 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과 (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 제1결과(I1)와, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 제3보상커패시터의 임피던스(1/jωsC3))로 나눈 제2결과(I2)를 더한 값(I1+I2)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상의 코사인 값이 0.9 이상이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치를 제공한다. 상기 전류의 위상이 상기 전압에 비해 진상(Leading Phase)인 역률이 되도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정될 수 있다.
상기 등가 임피던스(Re)는 상기 LED어레이의 출력 전압에 비례하고 상기 LED어레이의 출력전력에 반비례할 수 있다. 상기 보상인덕터 값이 소정의 기설정된 값을 갖는 경우, 상기 제1보상커패시터의 값은 아래의 식이 3*fs 이상이고 4*fs 이하의 값을 갖도록 결정될 수 있다.

상기 LED어레이의 출력 전압은 상기 LED어레이를 구성하는 LED소자의 갯수에 따른 출력전력의 변화가 가장 작은 경우의 값을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제2보상커패시터의 값은 상기 출력전력이 기설정된 출력전력값을 갖도록 설정될 수 있다.

이상에서 설명한 바와 같이 본 발명의 실시예에 의하면, 조명을 위한 엘이디를 구동하기 위하여 보상회로를 부가한 엘이디 조명장치를 사용함으로써 출력 및 역률 등의 특성을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.
또한, 적절한 용량의 보상인덕터를 부가함으로써 THD를 감쇄할 수 있고, 적절한 용량의 보상커패시터를 부가함으로써 역률을 향상하는 효과가 있고, 정류부의 입력단에 적절한 용량의 보상커패시터를 병렬로 연결하는 경우에는 LED 어레이로부터 유입되는 고조파를 감쇄하는 효과가 있다.
특히, 본 발명의 실시예에 의하면 전력계통에 진상부하를 제공함으로써 전체 전력계통의 역률을 향상하는 효과가 있어 일정 전력 수요량에 대하여 전력 공급 필요양을 감축시킬 수 있어 국가적으로 지대한 효과를 나타낼 수 있는 발명이다.

도 2에서와 같이 AC 입력(211)에 커패시터(212)를 연결하여 정류부(213)를 통하여 정류하고 LED 어레이(214)를 구동하는 방식을 사용할 수도 있으나, 이는 회로가 간단하고 효율이 좋지만 THD(Total Harmonic Distortion)와 PF(Power Factor, 역률) 특성이 나쁜 단점이 있다.

도 11은 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(300)가 DCM(Discontinuous Current Mode) 모드 또는 CCM(Continuous Current Mode) 모드로 동작하는 경우의 보상인덕터(321)에서의 파형을 도시한 도면이다.
AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(300)는 DCM 모드(도 11의 (a)) 또는 CCM 모드(도 11의 (b))에서 동작할 수 있다. LED 어레이 내의 LED의 갯수가 일정한 경우에 이러한 동작모드의 결정은 LED보상인덕터(321)의 용량에 따라 결정될 수 있다. 즉, 일반적으로 보상인덕터(321)의 용량이 소정의 임계치를 넘는 값을 갖는 경우 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(300)는 CCM 모드로 동작하고, 보상인덕터(321)의 용량이 소정의 임계치를 넘지 않는 경우 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(300)는 DCM 모드로 동작한다.
도 6은 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따른 LC병렬 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(600)를 도시한 도면이고, 도 7은 도 6의 회로에 대한 등가회로를 도시한 도면이다.

도 8은 LED 어레이(640)에서 발생하는 k차 하모닉 전류(Iek)와 각 소자를 도시한 도면이다.
제3보상커패시터(624, C3)의 값은 제1보상커패시터(C1, 622)에 비해 매우 작은 값을 갖도록 설정하므로 C3에 의한 임피던스는 매우 큰 값을 갖게 된다. 따라서, 도 8에서, k차 하모닉 전류(Iek)가 제3보상커패시터(624)로는 거의 흐르지 않게 되고 대부분 AC 입력단으로 유입된다. 따라서, k차 하모닉 전류(Iek)가 AC 입력(611)단에 유입되는 성분(Isk)은 수학식 5와 거의 동일하게 되며, 5차 이상의 하모닉 전류의 AC 입력(611)단에 유입되는 성분의 크기는 수학식 6과 같다.
여기서도, AC 입력(611)으로 유입되는 3차 하모닉 전류(Isk)의 값을 0으로 만들려면 3차 하모닉 주파수는 수학식 7을 만족하도록 L, C1의 값을 설정해야 하며, AC 입력단(611)으로 유입되는 3차 하모닉 전류(Is3)의 값이 1차 하모닉 전류(Is1)의 25%로 만들려면 수학식 8을 만족하도록 L, C1의 값을 설정해야 한다.
따라서, 수학식 7 및 8에서, 1/[(2π(LC1)1/2]의 값이 4*fs 이하이면서 3*fs 이상이 되도록 L, C1의 값을 설정하면 입력으로 유입되는 3차 하모닉 전류(Is3)의 값이 LED 어레이(340)에서 발생하는 크기에 비해 25% 이하가 되며, 이와 같은 크기가 되는 경우 전체 THD가 30% 이하가 된다.
한편, AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(600)는 DCM 모드(도 11의 (a)) 또는 CCM 모드(도 11의 (b))에서 동작할 수 있다. LED 어레이 내의 LED의 갯수가 일정한 경우에 이러한 동작모드의 결정은 LED보상인덕터(621)의 용량에 따라 결정될 수 있다. 즉, 일반적으로 보상인덕터(621)의 용량이 소정의 임계치를 넘는 값을 갖는 경우 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(600)는 CCM 모드로 동작하고, 보상인덕터(621)의 용량이 소정의 임계치를 넘지 않는 경우 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치(600)는 DCM 모드로 동작한다.
도 9는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 조명 시스템을 설계하는 방법을 도시한 도면이다.
먼저, 보상인덕터(L)의 크기를 PF가 0.9 이상이고 THD가 30% 이하인 범위 내에서 최소값을 갖도록 설정한다. 여기서 설정된 보상인덕터(L)의 값은 예컨대 0.2 H와 같이 소정의 특정 값을 갖는다. 보상인덕터(L)의 용량이 클수록 PF와 THD 특성이 좋아지는 장점이 있으나 부피가 커져서 경제성이 떨어진다. 따라서 보상인덕터(L)의 용량은 이러한 사항의 Tradeoff를 고려하여 0.1 ~ 1.5 H 사이에서 설정한다(예컨대, 0.2 H).
보상인덕터(L)의 용량이 결정된 후에는 제1보상커패시터(622)의 용량을 결정한다. 제1보상커패시터(622)의 용량은 수학식 7 또는 수학식 8에 따라 결정하거나, 수학식 7에 의한 값 또는 수학식 8에 의한 값 사이의 값을 갖도록 결정한다. 즉, 보상인덕터(L)와 제1보상커패시터(622)에 의한 공진주파수가 3*fs와 4*fs가 사이의 값이 되도록 설정할 수 있다.
도 10은 여러 C2의 값에 대하여 Re의 변화에 따른 출력전력의 변화를 도시한 도면이다.
제2보상커패시터(623)와 n(LED 어레이(340, 640)에서 직렬연결된 LED의 갯수)의 크기는 수학식 10과 같이 수학식 3에 대하여 Re에 대한 편미분을 적용한 결과가 0이 되도록 설정된다. 즉, LED 갯수가 변화함에 따라 LED 어레이(340, 640)의 파워가 최대인 경우가 존재하는데 이 점에서 LED 어레이(340, 640)가 동작하도록 LED 소자의 갯수를 설정한다(LED 어레이(340, 640)에서 직렬연결된 n 개의 LED 소자로 이루어진 경우).

또한, 수학식 1의 경우에 Po를 20 W로 설정함으로써 수학식 1 및 수학식 10 사이에 연립방적으로 풀면 C2 및 n에 대한 해를 구할 수 있다.
이러한 해는 그래프를 통하여서도 구할 수 있다. Po는 L과 C1, C2의 값의 변화와 Re에 따라 변화한다. 예를 들어, 도 10에서 L과 C1을 고정시키고 C2와 Re의 변화에 따른 Power 그래프에서 Po의 최대값이 20W를 만족하는 지점을 만족하는 C2와 Re를 결정할 수 있다. 따라서 Po(LED 어레이(340, 640)의 출력)가 예컨대 20 W로 설정된 경우 20 W 근처에서 수학식 10을 만족하는 C2의 값을 갖는 경우를 선택하면 된다. 따라서 이와 같이 C2를 구하게 되면 Re도 결정되고 따라서, Re의 값이 결정되면 수학식 1에 의해 n의 값도 결정된다. 하지만, n의 값은 정수값을 가지므로 수학식 10 및 수학식 1을 만족하는 n의 값이 정확한 정수값으로서 구하는 것은 불가능할 수도 있다. 따라서 계산된 값에 근사한 값을 갖되 정수값을 갖는 n을 구한다. 따라서, 수학식 10에서 n을 구하는 과정은 실제적으로는 LED의 갯수(즉, n의 값)을 서서히 변화시켜가면서(예를 들어, 증가시켜가면서) Po의 값이 가장 적게 변화되는 경우의 n의 값을 해로 구하면 된다. 이러한 과정은 도 3 및 도 6의 경우에 모두 공통적으로 수행될 수 있다.
여기서, LED어레이(340, 640)가 다수의 직렬연결된 LED소자를 포함하는 경우를 가정하여 설명하였으나, LED어레이(340, 640)가 직렬 또는 병렬 연결된 LED 소자의 다양한 조합으로 구성된 경우에도 LED소자를 추가함에 따른 LED어레이(340, 640)의 출력전력의 변화가 가장 적은 경우의 직렬 또는 병렬 연결된 LED 소자의 조합을 구할 수 있다.
한편, 도 6의 경우에 C3를 구하는 방법은 L, C1, C2, n의 값이 결정된 후에 C3 값을 조절한다. 이 경우 AC 입력단(611)에서의 PF가 0.9 이상이 되도록 C3 값을 조절한다.
도 10은 기존의 조명부하(Lagging Phase)와 일 실시예에 따른 조명장치(Leading Phase)를 병렬로 연결한 경우를 예시한 도면이다.
도 10에 도시한 바와 같이, 지상(Lagging Phase)을 갖는 기존의 조명부하와 지상(Leading Phase)을 갖는 본 발명의 일 실시예의 조명장치를 병렬로 연결함으로써 전체 계통의 역률과 THD를 개선할 수 있다.
즉, 일반 조명을 LED조명으로 대체하는 경우의 계통전력의 변화를 살펴보면 적은 소비전력으로도 형광등과 같은 일반조명과 동일한 조명효과를 내는 LED조명의 특성상 LED조명 자체로 전력소비량을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라, 진상의 역률을 제공함으로써 지상(Lagging Phase)의 무효전력을 갖는 전체 전력계통의 무효전력을 감소시킴으로써 전체 전력계통의 효율을 증대시킨다.
이상에서, 본 발명의 실시예를 구성하는 모든 구성 요소들이 하나로 결합되거나 결합되어 동작하는 것으로 설명되었다고 해서, 본 발명이 반드시 이러한 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 즉, 본 발명의 목적 범위 안에서라면, 그 모든 구성 요소들이 하나 이상으로 선택적으로 결합하여 동작할 수도 있다.
이상의 설명은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 예시적으로 설명한 것에 불과한 것으로서, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명에 개시된 실시예들은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 한정하기 위한 것이 아니라 설명하기 위한 것이고, 이러한 실시예에 의하여 본 발명의 기술 사상의 범위가 한정되는 것은 아니다. 본 발명의 보호 범위는 아래의 청구범위에 의하여 해석되어야 하며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 기술 사상은 본 발명의 권리범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
이상에서 설명한 바와 같이 본 발명은 조명을 위한 엘이디를 구동하기 위하여 보상회로를 부가한 엘이디 조명장치를 사용함으로써 출력 및 역률 등의 특성을 향상시키는 효과가 있어 유용한 발명이다.
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
본 특허출원은 2012년 08월 29일 한국에 출원한 특허출원번호 제 10-2012-0094892 호에 대해 미국 특허법 119(a)조(35 U.S.C § 119(a))에 따라 우선권을 주장하면, 그 모든 내용은 참고문헌으로 본 특허출원에 병합된다. 아울러, 본 특허출원은 미국 이외에 국가에 대해서도 위와 동일한 이유로 우선권을 주장하면 그 모든 내용은 참고문헌으로 본 특허출원에 병합된다.

Claims (12)

  1. AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서,
    AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로;
    상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및
    상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이
    를 포함하고,
    상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과, (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 결과(전류)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상의 코사인 값이 0.9 이상이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 전류의 위상이 상기 전압에 비해 진상(Leading Phase)인 역률이 되도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서,
    상기 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치는, CCM 모드 또는 DCM 모드에서 동작하도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  4. AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서,
    AC 입력과 병렬로 제3보상커패시터가 연결되고, 상기 AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로;
    상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및
    상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이
    를 포함하고,
    상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과 (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 제1결과(I1)와, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 제3보상커패시터의 임피던스(1/jωsC3))로 나눈 제2결과(I2)를 더한 값(I1+I2)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상의 코사인 값이 0.9 이상이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  5. 제 4항에 있어서,
    상기 전류의 위상이 상기 전압에 비해 진상(Leading Phase)인 역률이 되도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  6. 제 1항 또는 4항에 있어서,
    상기 등가 임피던스(Re)는 상기 LED어레이의 출력 전압에 비례하고 상기 LED어레이의 출력전력에 반비례하는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  7. 제 1항 또는 4항에 있어서,
    상기 보상인덕터 값이 소정의 기설정된 값을 갖는 경우, 상기 제1보상커패시터의 값은 아래의 식이 3*fs 이상이고 4*fs 이하의 값을 갖도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.

  8. 제 1항 또는 4항에 있어서,
    상기 LED어레이의 출력 전압은 상기 LED어레이를 구성하는 LED소자의 갯수에 따른 출력전력의 변화가 가장 작은 경우의 값을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  9. 제 8항에 있어서,
    상기 제2보상커패시터의 값은 상기 출력전력이 기설정된 출력전력값을 갖도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  10. 제 4항에 있어서,
    상기 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치는, CCM 모드 또는 DCM 모드에서 동작하도록 상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량이 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  11. AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서,
    AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로;
    상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및
    상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이
    를 포함하고,
    상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과, (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 결과(전류)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상이 진상(Leading Phase)이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
  12. AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치에 있어서,
    AC 입력과 병렬로 제3보상커패시터가 연결되고, 상기 AC입력의 일단에 (병렬연결된 보상인덕터 및 제1보상커패시터)와 제2보상커패시터가 직렬로 연결되어 상기 AC 입력을 보상하는 보상회로;
    상기 제2보상커패시터 양단의 출력을 직류로 정류하는 정류부; 및
    상기 정류부의 출력에 의해 구동되는 LED어레이
    를 포함하고,
    상기 제1보상커패시터, 상기 제2보상커패시터, 상기 제3보상커패시터 및 상기 보상인덕터의 용량과 상기 LED어레이의 출력전압은, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 정류부와 상기 LED 어레이에 대한 등가 임피던스(Re)와 상기 제2보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)과 (상기 보상인덕터의 임피던스 및 상기 제1보상커패시터의 임피던스의 병렬값)을 합한 값으로 나눈 제1결과(I1)와, 상기 AC 입력의 전압을 (상기 제3보상커패시터의 임피던스(1/jωsC3))로 나눈 제2결과(I2)를 더한 값(I1+I2)의 상기 전압에 대한 위상이 진상(Leading Phase)이 되도록 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 AC 직결형 엘이디 조명장치.
