Abstract

The invention relates to a temperature measuring device (2) for determining the temperature at the surface of a pipeline (5), having a temperature sensor (3) which serves to determine the temperature, wherein a thermally conductive coupling element (4) is provided which can be placed flat against the surface of the pipeline (5) in order to connect the temperature sensor (3) thermally to the surface of the pipeline (5), wherein the coupling element (4) consists of an elastic material and serves to compensate for irregularities on the surface of the pipeline (5).
