Abstract

Provided is a method for inducing blood flow characteristics and an MR-signal strength gradient using TOF-MRA. The method for inducing blood flow characteristics according to one embodiment of the present invention involves acquiring a cross-sectional image of a blood vessel using MRA and detecting a vessel contour so a to recognize the blood vessel, pseudo-coloring the blood vessel, and providing a blood vessel image. Thus, the method of the present invention may induce a blood flow or blood flow characteristics such as hemodynamics in an accurate and very quick manner through a relatively simple algorithm using TOF-MRA, analyze the blood flow or blood flow characteristics so as to enable the understanding of the blood flow characteristics, and enable the application of the blood flow or blood flow characteristics to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases.
