【발명의 명 칭】
그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 및 그의 제조 방법
【기술분야】
<1> 본 발명은 그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 및 그의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게 그래핀 위에 금속 나노 입자를 첨가함으로써 계층적 구조를 가지는 탄소나노튜브로 성 장시킬 수 있는 방법에 관한 것이다.
【배경기술】
<2> 미 래의 전기 /전자 소자는 착용식 컴퓨터, 플텍서블 디스플레이, 플렉서블 IC 카드, 풀렉서블 휴대용 태양 전지 및 인공 근육 등에 적용되기 위하여 가볍고 유연 하며 휴대 가능한 형 태로 구현되어 야 한다.
<3> 이러한 미 래형 전기 /전자 소자 개발을 위하여 2차원형 전도체인 그래핀에 1 차원형 탄소나노튜브의 융합을 통한 3차원형 전도체를 만들어 유연하고 투명 한 특 성을 갖는 전자 소자 개발에 활용하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다.
<4> 종래에는 CVE chemical vapor deposi t ion, 화학증착법 )기 법을 이용하여 그래 핀과 탄소나노튜브가 결합된 나노구조체를 확득하여 전도성 구조체로 활용하고 있 으나, 상기 CVD 기 법을 적용할 경우 고온과 고압 조건 및 특정 원료 가스를 취급해 야 한다는 점에서 사고 위험성 이 존재하며, 복잡한 다단계 과정을 필요로 함으로써 나노구조체의 제조에 상당한 시간 및 비용이 소요된다는 단점 이 있다.
【발명의 상세한 설명】
【기술적 과제】
<5> 본 발명의 실시 예는 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위 한 것으로서, 흑연의 산화 및 환원과정을 배제하고, 마이크로파를 조사하여 단시간에 다량의 계층적 구 조를 가지는 탄소나노튜브를 제조하기 위한 것이다 . 또한, 유해한 유기용제의 과다 사용을 억제하는 친환경 적 인 그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 및 그의 제조 방법을 제공하기 위한 것이다.
【기술적 해결방법】
<6> 상기 과제를 해결하기 위해 본 발명은, 혹연 또는 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)에 제 1 촉매 금속과 제 1 이온액을 첨가하여 제 1 혼합물질을 제공하는 단계 와, 상기 제 1 흔합물질에 제 1 마이크로파를 조사하여 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 결합체 를 제공하는 단계와 , 상기 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 결합체에 제 2 촉매 금속과 제 2 이 온액을 첨가하여 제 2 흔합물질을 제공하는 단계 및 상기 제 2 흔합물질에 제 2 마이 크로파를 조사하여 상기 탄소나노류브를 계층적 구조로 변환하는 단계를 포함하는
그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 제조 방법을 일 실시예로 제안한다.
<7> 여기서, 상기 제 1 흔합물질을 제공하는 단계에서 상기 제 1 촉매 금속을 분쇄 하여 첨가할 수 있다.
<8> ' 또한, 상기 제 1 혼합물질을 제공하는 단계에서, 초음파 처리에 의해 상기 혹 연 또는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)와 상기 계 1 촉매 금속과 상기 제 1 이온액을 혼합할수 있다.
<9> 또한, 상기 제 2 흔합물질을 제공하는 단계에서, 초음파 처리에 의해 상기 그 래핀-탄소나노튜브 결합체에 상기 제 2 촉매 금속과 상기 제 2 이은액을 혼합할 수 있다.
<ιο> 또한,—상기 제 1흔합물질을 제공하는 단계에서, 상기 혹연 또는상가그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)와 상기 제 1 촉매 금속을 1:0.05 내지 1:20의 비율로 흔 합할수 있다.
<ιι> 또한, 상기 제 1 혼합물질을 제공하는 단계에서, 상기 혹연 또는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)와 상기 제 1 이온액을 1:0.1 내지 1:20의 바율로 흔합할 수 있다.
<12> 또한, 상기 탄소나노튜브를 계층적 구조로 변환하는 단계에서, 상기 제 2 마 이크로파를 100W내지 2000W의 세기로 1초 내지 1000초 동안조사할수 있다.
<13> 또한, 상기 제 1 촉매 금속 또는 상기 제 2 촉매 금속은 팔라듐 (Pd), 니켈

<14> 또한, 상기 제 1 이온액 또는 제 2 이온액은 1ᅳ에틸 -3-메틸이미다졸륨 (1- ethyl-3-methyl iraidazol ium, EMIM)계 이온액 및 1-부틸 -3-메틸이미다졸륨 (1-butyl- 3-methylimidazolium, BMIM)계 이은액으로 이루어진 군에서 선팩된 하나 이상의 이 은액일 수 있다.
【유리한 효과】
<15> 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 및 그의 제 조 방법에 의하면, 종래 탄소나노류브 대비 비표면적이 증가한 계층적 구조체의 탄 소나노튜브를 획득할 수 있으며, 금속 전구체에 따라 금속 기능화된 탄소나노튜브 구조체를 획득할 수 있다. 또한, 마이크로파를 이용함으로써 친환경적인 방법으로 탄소나노튜브를 제조할수 있다.

<20> 먼저, 흑연 또는 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)에 제 1 촉매 금속과 제 1 이온액을 첨가하고 초음파 분해기를 이용하여 고루 섞은 후 제 1 흔합물질을 생성한 다 (S101).■
<21> 이때, 상기 제 1 흔합물질을 생성하는 단계는 상기 제 1 촉매 금속을 분쇄하는 단계를 더 포함할수 있다.
<22> 상기 분쇄된 제 1 촉매 금속의 입자크기는 상기 초음파분해기를 통해 초음 파를 조사하는 시간에 따라 달라지며, 10nm 내지 lOOnm의 입자 크기를 가지도톡 분 쇄하여 첨가할 수 있다. 제 1 촉매 금속의 입자 크기가 상기 범위내에 포함되지 않 을 경우 상기 제 1 촉매 금속이 흑연 또는 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide) 및 제 1 이온액과고르게 흔합되지 않으므로 탄소나노튜브를 고르게 성장시킬 수 없다.
<23> 또한, 상기 제 1 촉매 금속은 팔라듐 (Pd), 니켈 (Ni), 코발트 (Co), 철 (Fe) 중 하나또는 이들이 조합된 금속일 수 있다.
<24> 이때, 상기 혹연 또는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드와상기 제 1 촉매 금속은 1:0.05 내지 1:20의 비율로 흔합될 수 있다.
<25> 또한, 상기 게 1 이온액은 1-에틸 -3-메틸이미다졸륨 (l-ethyl-3- methylimidazolium, EMIM)계 이온액 또는 1-부틸 -3-메틸이미다졸륨 (l-butyl-3- methylimidazolium, BMIM)계 이온액 및 이들이 조합된 이온액일 수 있다.
<26> 이때, 상기 혹연 또는 그래핀 옥사이드와 상기 이온액은 1:0.1 내지 1:20의 비율로 흔합될 수 있다.
<27> 만약, 상기 흑연 또는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드와 상기 제 1 촉매 금속 및 제 1 이온액의 흔합비율이 1:0.1 비율보다 작거나 1:20 비율보다 클 경우에는 탄소나노 튜브가국부적으로 성장하거나 계층적 구조를 가질 수 없다.
<28> 이후, 상기 제 1 흔합물질에 게 1 마이크로파를 조사하여 그래핀-탄소나노튜브 결합체를 획득한다 (S102).

<32> 이때 , 상기 게 2 마이크로파의 조사 시간과 세기는 상기 그래핀-탄소나노류브 결합체에 첨가된 상기 제 2 촉매 금속과 상기 제 2 이온액의 양에 따라 달라질 수 있 으며, 100W 내지 2000W의 세기로 1초 내지 1000초 동안 조사한다.
<33> 또한, 제 1 흔합물질 생성 단계에서 상기 혹연 또는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드보 다 제 1 촉매 금속과 제 1 이온액의 첨가 비율을 높게 혼합한다면, 계 2 촉매 금속과 제 2 이온액의 추가적으로 첨가하는 단계를 생략하여 계층적 구조를 가지는 그래핀- 탄소나노튜브를 생성할 수 있다.
<34> 이때, 상기 계층적 구조를 가지는 그래핀-탄소나노류브의 면적은 상기 그래 핀 옥사이드의 크기에 따라 달라지며, 상기 그래핀 옥사이드의 크기는 상기 그래핀 옥사이드의 초음파 분쇄를 통해 결정할 수 있다 .
<35> 또한, 상기 상기 계층적 구조를 가지는 그래핀-탄소나노튜브는 약 lOnra 내지 lOOnm 범워의 폭과 약 10nm 내지 10 m 범위의 길이를 가지는 선형의 탄소나노류브 를 포함할 수 있다.
<36> 도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 그래핀에서 탄소나노튜브가 2단계로 성 장되어 있는 구조체이며, 도 3은 도 2의 구조체를 고배율로 나타낸 것이다.

<38> 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 그래핀-탄소나노류브의 계층적 구조체는 우수한 전기적 특성과 낮은 접촉 저항을 가짐으로써 전계방출디스플레이 (FED)의 전자층 소 재 , 플랙서블 디스플레이의 투명전극 소재, 배터리 및 센서 분야에 광범위하게 적 용 가능하다 .
<39> 이상에서는 본 발명의 실시 예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권 리범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 특허 청구범위에서 정의하는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 여러 변형 및 개량 형 태 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속하 는 것 이다.

혹연 또는 그래핀 옥사이드 (graphene oxide)에 제 1 촉매 금속과 제 1 이온액 을 첨가하여 제 1 혼합물질을 제공하는 단계 ;
상기 제 1 흔합물질에 제 1 마이크로파를 조사하여 그래핀-탄소나노류브 결합 체를 제공하는 단계 ;
상기 그래핀-탄소나노류브 결합체에 제 2 촉매 금속과 제 2 이온액을 첨가하여 제 2 흔합물질을 제공하는 단계 ; 및
상기 제 2 흔합물질에 제 2 마이크로파를 조사하여 상기 탄소나노튜브를 계층 적 구조로 변환하는 단계

상기 탄소나노튜브를 계층적 구조로 변환하는 단계에서, 상기 계 2 마이크로 파를 100W 내지 2000W의 세기로 1초 내지 1000초 동안 조사하는 그래핀 -탄소나노류 브의 계층적 구조체 제조 방법 .

저 U항 내지 제 7항중 어느 한항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 촉매 금속 또는 상기 게 2촉매 금속은 팔라듬 (Pd), 니켈 (Ni), 코발 트 (Co) 및 철 (Fe)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나 이상의 금속인 그래핀-탄소나노 튜브의 계층적 구조체 제조 방법.

제 1항 내지 제 7항중 어느 한항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 이온액 또는 제 2 이온액은 1-에틸 -3—메틸이미다졸륨 (l-ethyl-3- methylimidazolium, EMIM)계 이온액 및 1-부틸 -3-메틸이미다졸륨 (l_butyl-3- methylimidazolium, BMIM)계 이온액으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나 이상의 이온 액인 그래핀-탄소나노튜브의 계층적 구조체 제조 방법.
