Abstract

Dispositif pour stocker de l'énergie électrique via transformation en énergie cinétique par un volant d'inertie équipé d'une machine électrique. Il est envisagé de stocker de l'énergie d'au moins 100 kilowatts. Le dispositif comprend un volant d'inertie (1) dans une base d'appui (4) qui a de dimensions et d'un poids important. Donc, le volant d'inertie (1) et la base d'appui (4) sont constructibles sur le lieu d'exploitation avec des outils spécifiques mais d'un matériel facile à transporter, tel que du béton. Le volant d'inertie (1) comprenant des aimants permanents (13) pivote autour de l'axe vertical (5) sur la base d'appui (4) par des roulements comprenant de coussin d'air (9) et des pistes de glissement (8,10). Dans la partie fixe, les bobines (14) forment le stator de la machine électrique.
