Abstract

The invention relates to a device (100) and a method (300) for charging or recharging a first battery (102) in a vehicle (200). According to the invention, electric energy is transmitted from a second battery (103) to the first battery (102) by means of a DC/DC converter (101). The energy is transmitted at a time when the vehicle (200) is not in operation.
