Description

Tobacco leaf cutting machine and tobacco leaf cutting method
The present invention relates to a tobacco leaf cutter and a tobacco leaf cutting method for forming chopped tobacco used for xels and the like.
A smoke pipe (xel) is disclosed in Patent Document 1. Xels are stuffed cigarettes in a pan, and the chopped cigarettes are set on fire. The chopped cigarette used in this xeller is thinner than the chopped cigarette used in cigarettes (generally about 0.8 mm wide).
On the other hand, since tobacco leaves are hung after harvesting and dried, they are in a crimped state (drawn leaves). Chopped tobacco is formed by cutting tobacco leaves on top of each other, but if the leaves are left as they are, the dense and dense parts are produced. Fine powder is generated and cannot be cut with uniform width. For this reason, in the past, leaf cutting work was performed to widen the aperture leaves, so that the dense and dense portions did not occur when they were overlapped.
This leaf cutting work requires a lot of time and effort because each tobacco leaf is manually processed. Because of this leaf cutting work, it is difficult to quickly cut tobacco with a thin and uniform width.

Further, in the present invention, the tobacco step is filled in a case, the pressing step is performed by pressing the tobacco leaf in the case with pressure to form a block-shaped tobacco block by batch processing, and the tobacco block is mounted on a table. And a cigarette leaf cutting method comprising: a cutting step of cutting the cigarette block using a blade in a cutting region which is a partial region of the table.

According to the present invention, it is possible to quickly cut a tobacco leaf into a thin and uniform width so that it can be used sufficiently by chopping tobacco used for xels or the like.
1 is a schematic view of a tobacco leaf cutter according to the present invention. It is a schematic sectional drawing which shows the modification of a pressure and a container. It is a schematic sectional drawing which shows the modification of a container.
As shown in FIG. 1, the tobacco leaf cutter 1 according to the present invention includes a pressing device 2 and a cutting device 3. The pressing device 2 includes a case 4 and a pressure 5. The case 4 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape with an upper surface opened, and the inner dimension is 200 mm long × 200 mm wide × 110 mm high. Note that the outer shape and inner size of the case 4 can be changed as appropriate. The pressure 5 is disposed above the case 4 and has a shape along the inner dimension of the case 4. Therefore, the pressure 5 can be inserted into the case 4. Tobacco leaves are made into a package 6 by compressing leaf pieces (lamina) obtained by squeezing squeezed leaves at a raw material factory to some extent for transportation. The packing body 6 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and is cut out and supplied so that the outer dimension thereof is within the inner dimension of the case 4.
The transported package 6 is filled in the case 4. The package 6 in the case is pressed from above by the pressure 5 (in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 1). Alternatively, it may be from below or in the opposite direction. The package 6 is pressed by the pressure 5 to form a tobacco block 7. Since the pressing is performed to be about 1/10 in the height direction, the outer dimensions of the tobacco block 7 are 200 mm long × 200 mm wide × 11 mm high. In addition, pressing of the package 6 by the pressing device 2 is performed in a batch type (batch processing).
In addition, the tobacco leaf filled in the case 4 may be in the state of each tobacco leaf from which the packing body 6 has been released once, or a state of a squeezed leaf stored from a leaf tobacco farmer. If the packaging body 6 is used as shown in FIG. 1, the transported packaging body 6 can be used without being separated, so that productivity is increased. Moreover, you may perform the harmony work for moisture adjustment. The density of the tobacco leaves of the tobacco block 7 sent to the cutting device 3 is preferably 500 kg / m 3 to 900 kg / m 3 . By setting it within this range, it becomes possible to perform higher quality engraving in a later engraving process. Below this range, there is a high possibility that the tobacco leaf is dense and dense, but butterfly leaves and fine powder are likely to be generated. Further, if it exceeds this range, it will be too hard to be cut by the cutting apparatus 3, or even if it can be cut, it will be difficult to unravel each one. Since the density of the tobacco leaf of the package 6 is about 250 kg / m 3 , pressing is required even when the package 6 is used as it is.
After squeezing, the moisture of the tobacco leaves contained in the tobacco block 7 is preferably 13% WB to 16% WB. By setting it within this range, it becomes possible to perform higher quality engraving in a later engraving process. Below this range, the raw material may be crushed during pressing, or fine powder may be generated during cutting. In addition, if it exceeds this range, water will ooze out during squeezing, or it will be difficult to unravel each piece after cutting.
In particular, when the squeezed leaf is used directly, it is preferable to remove the inner bone of the tobacco leaf from the viewpoint of appearance and quality before pressing. For this reason, if necessary, a bone removing operation for removing the middle bone is performed. However, a humidity adjusting operation may be performed before the bone removing operation to facilitate removal of the middle bone.
Thus, the pressing process is to fill the case 4 with the tobacco leaf and press the tobacco leaf in the case 4 with the pressure 5 to form the block-shaped tobacco block 7 by batch processing. By performing such a pressing process, the tobacco block 7 has no dense and dense portions of tobacco leaves, and so-called leaf cutting work that has been conventionally performed is unnecessary.
As described above, the cigarette block 7 formed by the pressure 5 is taken out from the case 4 and slides down the slope 10 (in the direction of arrow D in FIG. 1), and is sent to the cutting device 3. In addition, about the conveyance from a pressing apparatus to a cutting apparatus, if the tobacco block 7 formed in the batch process and taken out from the case 4 can be conveyed, the method is not limited to the slope 10, and other mechanisms are used. It can be used or done manually.
The cigarette block 7 that has slid down the slope 10 passes through a molding device 11 disposed on the front side of the cutting device 3. The molding apparatus 11 uses the tobacco block 7 as the tobacco block molded body 12 so that the front and rear sides are inclined with respect to the traveling direction of the cutting apparatus 3. For example, in addition to the parallelogram shape shown in the figure, there are trapezoidal shapes and the like.
Here, the shape of the container 4 or the pressure 5 described above may be appropriately changed to form the tobacco block molded body 12 from the package 6. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the side surface 4a of the container 4 is inclined, and the inclined part 5a protruding from the pressure 5 is provided, whereby the tobacco block molded body 12 having a parallelogram cross section can be formed. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 3, when the opposing two side surfaces 4 a and 4 b of the container 4 are inclined and pressed by the pressure 5 as it is, a tobacco block molded body 12 having a trapezoidal cross section can be formed.
The cutting apparatus 3 includes a table 8 and a blade 9. The cutting device 3 forms a tobacco 13 by cutting a tobacco block molded body 12 (tobacco block 7) placed on a table 8 and moving in one direction (in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 1) with a blade 9. Is. The moving mechanism for moving the tobacco block can be realized by using, for example, the pusher 16 or by forming the table 8 with a belt conveyor. A part of the table 8 is formed as a cutting area 14, and the tobacco block molded body 12 is cut in the cutting area 14. The blade 9 reciprocates linearly (in the direction of arrow C in FIG. 1) in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the tobacco block molded body 12 on the table 8 (in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 1).
Further, from the viewpoint of smoothly cutting, the blade 9 preferably has a single-edged structure having a cutting angle on the discharge side of the cut tobacco 13. The cigarette block on the table 8 intermittently feeds the set cutting width (0.1 to 0.3 mm) for one reciprocation of the blade 9. By moving the blade 9 linearly in this way, it is possible to form the cut tobacco 13 having a narrow and uniform width more stably than using the rotary blade.
At this time, as described above, the front and rear sides of the tobacco block molded body 12 with respect to the traveling direction have an inclined cross section, and therefore the blade 9 is inclined with respect to the reciprocating direction. For this reason, when using the blade 9 that reciprocates linearly from directly above, it is easy to cut and can be cut with stable quality. That is, as shown in the figure, if the inclined portions of the front and rear tobacco block molded bodies 12 are moved in an overlapping manner, stable quality cutting can be performed continuously even at the end of the tobacco block molded body 12, Productivity increases. Therefore, the tobacco 13 having a desired fineness can be formed at the end of the tobacco block molded body 12 in this way, and the material can be used effectively. The tobacco block molded bodies 12 having a parallelogram cross-section may be arranged on the table 8 as they are, but in the case of a trapezoid, they are reversed and arranged. Thereby, the inclination part of the adjacent tobacco block molded object 12 overlaps.
When the tobacco block molded body 12 is cut, tobacco leaf powder 15 as a buffer material is interposed between the base 8 and the tobacco block molded body 12 in the cutting area 14. By laying tobacco leaf powder 15 in this way, it is possible to protect the base 8 against the blade 9, and even if it is mixed in the tobacco 13 formed after the cutting, the quality is not particularly affected. Any vegetable fiber may be used as long as it is not affected even if it is mixed in the chopped tobacco 13, for example, cotton may be used.
The width of the cut tobacco 13 formed by cutting is 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm. This is optimal for the size of the cut tobacco 13 used for the xels, and the above-described tobacco leaf cutter 1 can be suitably applied as an apparatus for forming the cut tobacco 13 used for such applications. That is, a thin chopped cigarette is a chopped cigarette having the optimum width for use in a xel. The tobacco block 7 is preferably cut by the blade 9 within 5 hours after the tobacco block is formed. This is because the squeezed cigarette block 7 swells with the passage of time, making it impossible to perform higher quality cutting.
